"flutterfield’s a wise choice. a land full of butterfly fairies," jaehwa murmured, her thoughts drifting far from animal crossing and into an imaginary realm straight out of a barbie fairytale. her left thumb smoothly guided the joystick while the other tapped on buttons, carefully choosing an outfit for her in-game character. it wasn’t anything flashy, just a basic starter outfit, but she made sure the avatar had the cutest facial features possible. priorities.
she nodded quietly to herself, lips pursed in concentration as she painstakingly typed out each letter of her island's name using the joystick instead of the touchscreen. it was slow, but for her, less frustrating than repeatedly mistyping with her fingers. "mhm, multiplayer’s fun," she agreed, her eyes still on the screen. "but the downside is definitely the loading. if multiple people are joining your island one by one, you’re stuck watching that same animation and re-entering the island code again and again." she sighed, relieved as the final letter clicked into place.
setting her controller aside for a moment, she glanced up and offered a small smile. "yeah, let’s play again sometime. maybe during the holidays when we actually have time to breathe."

"fairycore it is!" jaehwa announces with excitement, already racking her brain for island name ideas that fit the theme. "windfall? magic meadow? flutterfield?" she rattles off the first few names that come to mind, only to pause and furrow her brows. fairycore names were surprisingly tricky, and she found herself digging through her memory for locations from that one barbie movie she watched as a kid. "honestly, these are just names i pulled from barbie's fairytopia, so feel free to throw in some suggestions!" fairycore villagers usually had cool pastel tones that give off a dreamy, whimsical vibe. jaehwa wouldn’t lie; while she adored them, they ranked just behind cottagecore villagers. "i love how we can customize characters and design every little detail to fit our vision," she muses, fingers idly tapping at the controls. "but honestly, what makes this game really fun is the multiplayer feature. it’s just not the same playing alone."
whether creativity was a skill of sori’s, she was not sure about. sori was usually pretty good at anything thrown her way, but coming up with ideas were sometimes difficult for sori. she hated it, she hated not being the best at everything, if she did something, she wished she was the best at it. it’s not as serious as it used to be, she can be happy for her members being better at singing and rap, but she’ll still be a bit uncomfortable? jealous? not satisfied with not being the best dancer in the room.
jaehwa comes with suggestions for their island name, and sori has no idea herself so good thing she’s with jaehwa right now. “flutterfield is cute” she nods a bit, she probably wouldn’t be able to come up with something better herself. “playing the game now makes me want to play more” she nods, her words a combination of truth and lies. “and i agree, it’s really nice when you can play multiplayer in games, we should play some more together” she smiles to jaehwa, though unsure if the two would ever get to play more, unsure if sori really would pick up that switch again.

it had been a while since jaehwa had properly hung out with her members, even if not all of them were here. after spending so much time away focusing on acting, she realized just how much she missed the comfort of their company, where she could truly be herself. unlike the past few days, where she had to maintain a refined and professional image in front of new co-stars and the production crew, being with her group felt like a breath of fresh air. not that she had anything to hide, she just wasn’t as elegant as people assumed her to be.
jaehwa nodded slowly, trying to wrap her head around hyejoo’s words. “how is a flower also the entire tree?” she asked, confusion evident on her face as she tilted her head slightly.
“but you are soft and delicate!” she insisted, eyes narrowing playfully. “that was my first impression of you and honestly, it hasn’t changed. soft, delicate…” she paused for a moment before a lightbulb went off in her head. “like tofu! and you’re pretty fair too, so that’s another point in the bag.”
she turned in the direction hyejoo had pointed, nodding in agreement about yuxi’s flower. “tall, striking, no extra frills. sounds charismatic. it suits her so well.” as she processed hyejoo’s earlier statement, her eyes suddenly widened in realization. “wait, that’s actually true! but if she’s all the flowers here, then what about ours? are we ichika?”
hyejoo laughs with the comfortable easiness of being around someone she's comfortable with. she's the type who warms up to people slowly, and her parents always said that she's been shy since she was born, so the fact that she can laugh and joke around like this with her group members is a dream come true. she's heard of group members having bad relationships with each other, or just being coworkers and not really like friends, and she's grateful that it's not the case with crystallis.
"okay, okay!" she concedes, laughter still escaping her lips as she looks at jaehwa. "pocket sized but mighty! that's why you're those flowers, because you seem small, but you're actually a whole tree." it's poetic, if you think about it from a certain angle.
her gaze goes over to look at what the other girl is talking about, and she sees pretty pastel flowers, and she puts her hand on her chest dramatically. "aww, jaehwa, i'm touched you think that highly of me." she says it like a joke, but she is happy to be compared to flowers so pretty.
"these flowers here." she says, gesturing to a bunch of tall stems, with single blue flowers on the top. "those are yuxi, tall and striking, with no extra frills." hyejoo looks around, her attention caught when she sees ichika taking her photoshoot pictures. "would ichika be all of them then? since her name means one thousand flowers?"

CRYSTALLIS MISSION 013: FANMEETING HEADCANONS word count: 349
ever since jaehwa learned how to cook, she wanted to expand her skills beyond just savory dishes. a month before preparation day, she eagerly signed up for a pastry class, hoping to master the art of making macarons and tarts from scratch.
unfortunately, her packed schedule was filled with japanese comeback preparations and her ongoing acting project, which left her with little time to practice. she only managed to squeeze in one trial run and the results were far from what she had envisioned.
rather than attempting a complex pastry she wasn’t confident in, jaehwa opted for a simpler yet personal treat for the fans — her favorite sandwich.
her signature sandwich consists of two slices of golden french toast, crispy bacon, a fluffy egg omelet and two layers of melted cheese. for those who enjoyed spicy food, she included a small packet of kimchi for an extra kick.
during the dance challenge, jaehwa successfully completed three out of five routines. the two unsuccessful attempts were due to forgotten choreography, as she’s not the best at memorizing dance moves quickly.
when asked on a post-it why she took up acting, jaehwa explained that she had always enjoyed being in front of the camera since childhood. she loved watching dramas with her grandmother and often played pretend, even participating in a school play when she was younger.
another post-it asked which celebrity she would collaborate with if given the chance. without hesitation, jaehwa picked sabrina carpenter because 1) she’s a fan, and 2) she felt their musical styles were quite similar.
a third post-it questioned what kind of variety show she would like for crystallis. as someone who loves traveling, she suggested a short overseas retreat, possibly to thailand, singapore, or indonesia. she thought it would be the perfect getaway, especially since korea experiences winter at the end of the year, and a change in climate would be refreshing.
during the member superlatives, jaehwa was voted as the most disorganized member, the one most likely to keep a deep secret, and the most difficult to wake up in the morning.

she leans over to peek at the older female’s order, eyes lighting up in approval. “ooo, tangsuyuk and jjajangmyeon. solid choice.” nodding, jaehwa pulls out her phone and opens the food delivery app. “can we skip diet day and get bubble tea too?” she tilts her head slightly, giving the other a hopeful look.
jaehwa pauses to think. that was true. back when she was a trainee, she had built close friendships with others, even if they eventually walked different paths. but during her recent training sessions, she had noticed a lot of unfamiliar faces with most of them probably joined after she debuted. “yeah, i recognized a few people, but there were a lot of new faces too. kind of a bummer. i was expecting to see more familiar ones.”
at the mention of early morning filming, she recalls the variety shows she used to watch. “ahh, yeah! i remember seeing those on running man. as exhausting as they look for the cast, they’re really fun to watch. especially the breakfast missions.” her voice trails off as another thought crosses her mind. she raises a brow, tilting her head slightly with a teasing smirk. “wait… does that mean your bare face is going to be exposed to the world?”
her excitement only grows at the mention of a drinks truck. “will do! i’ll let you know as soon as the next filming locations are announced.” the idea of getting a treat for the cast and crew already had her buzzing. she waves a hand dismissively, “as for the photos, i don’t have a preference. just pick whichever ones look good!” at the mention of her brothers, she pulls away slightly with a laugh. “i’m sure they’d agree. and if they don’t? well, that’s their loss.”
"Malatang and xiao long bao, excellent," Soyoun says as she nods. She hasn't had a good malatang in ages, but last she checked this is one of the better places to get it. She should probably get that next time she feels like eating Chinese food. She then adds in her own order of tangsuyuk and jjajangmyeon before confirming the order.
Humming, Soyoun nods. "Understandable, since most of them aren't the ones we trained with, yeah?" She recalls how majority of the first batch of actors have already left LGC to pursue other endeavors. It feels almost weird to see a new batch of faces every time. ... The fact she's thinking like this already makes her realize the passage of time. She suddenly feels so old just thinking about it. Shuddering, she perishes the thought as soon as it arrives.
"You know how sometimes on variety shows, they have to do stuff at shit o'clock like wake up the main cast? Or maybe prepare for the day? Yeah, I think my upcoming variety show will need me up at weird hours." She doesn't have much information on it yet, but all that she knows is that it will be filmed out of town. "Or sometimes, part of filming is how we're getting to our next location? Stuff like that."
Smiling, she nods. "Deadly serious. Give me the days where filming will be intense so I can send a drinks truck your way for real." She knows how hard filming can be, especially in the winter. Wrapping her spare arm around Jaehwa, she chuckles. "I try my best. Now if only Max and Junhwan would agree..."

she takes soyoun's phone and scrolls through the menu, eyes scanning the options. there are plenty to choose from but with the chilly weather, she craves something warm and preferably spicy. perfect malatang weather. "this weather calls for some spicy malatang! and maybe some xiao long baos too," she declares, quickly tapping in her order before handing the phone back.
at the mention of her new project, she shrugs. "not really. since most of the actors are from lgc, everyone's been nice so far. but i did feel a little lonely on my first day since i didn't know anyone."
her brows furrow at the mention of odd filming hours. "wait, odd hours? why would they do that?" the thought of dragging herself out of bed in the middle of the night just to film makes her groan internally. if that were the case, she’d probably end up missing during half the footage as she'll be sleeping through every possible break.
but at the mention of a drinks truck, her eyes light up. "you're not joking! i'll really text you the location," she beams, leaning forward to wrap soyoun in a tight hug. "you're the best, unnie! and don't tell the other members or my sister about this, okay?"
Soyoun knows the art of choosing her battles, and this isn't a hill she wants to die on. One day she'll get Jaehwa to spill what's going on. Probably when the project is already public knowledge.
Nodding, Soyoun then hands Jaehwa her phone. "I'm not sure what you want, but i hope Chinese food is okay," she says as an explanation. She doesn't know whether Jaehwa has to maintain a certain weight for the role or what, and she's not taking her chances. Letting Jaehwa choose what she wants for dinner is the safest way to go. "Are they giving you a hard time on set, though?"
Laughing, Soyoun shakes her head. "Meanwhile, I'm up at odd hours to get to a location for variety filming, but it's lots of fun." Yeah, she's really sending a drinks truck to Jaehwa's filming location. "Just give me the address, and let me know when your intense filming days will be." She winks at Jaehwa. "I'll even let you choose the photos."

lgcjaehwa
having played animal crossing in the past, jaehwa was no stranger to the game. during the holidays, when she’d return home to spend time with her family, she would happily immerse herself for hours, building up her island and visiting friends’ islands to trade items. however, as her schedule became busier, her interest gradually faded, and her nintendo switch was tucked away somewhere in her room, collecting dust. so when she saw the game again during halloween, the thought of grinding for money and dealing with landscaping felt mentally exhausting. "yeah, i have," she replied, her focus already on the screen as she busied herself with customizing her character. "hmm... i usually pick a name based on the concept i want for my island. i had one called 'storybrook' once, inspired by the series once upon a time. it was citycore, with a little forest tucked in the corner. what about you? what kind of island do you like?" finishing her customization, she glanced over, her curiosity piqued. "cottagecore? fairycore? citycore?"
looking at the game now made sori want to pick up her nintendo switch again. it’d been a gift from her brother and dad, but she truly hadn’t spent much time on it, finding herself busy with school and idol life instead. she’d briefly forced a member to play with her, but the switch had been brought back to her room and hadn’t been touched in a while, not even thought about in a while. while sori still feels busy, it’s not too far out in the future that she’ll finally be done with school, perhaps she’ll have more time to give gaming her attention then?
“me too… but it’s been a while” she briefly looks at the game before returning her eyes to jaehwa. “ah i’ve only created an island once before and it was called ‘sori’s island’ not exactly very creative” she shrugs. “your ideas are cute though, i especially like fairycore” she nods a bit. “the characters in this game are really cute, and i like how you’re able to customize your own character”.

aware of japan’s breathtaking beauty, jaehwa had a strong feeling that her visit to kenrokuen for their photoshoot wouldn’t disappoint; and she was absolutely right. even before arriving, just catching a glimpse of the garden from a distance had left her jaw hanging. with spring fast approaching, butterflies fluttered gracefully around the vibrant blooms, while a cool breeze rustled the branches of the plum blossom trees, sending petals drifting to the ground. she had always dreamed of doing a photoshoot in a garden, and what better place than kenrokuen?
being the first to finish her shoot, jaehwa eagerly wandered along the floral paths. each bloom was so stunning that she had to resist the temptation to pluck a few and weave them into flower crowns. with her hands occupied by her phone, she snapped photo after photo, capturing the beauty around her. she was in the middle of framing the perfect shot when hyejoo’s voice called out to her.
"hm?" jaehwa walked over to stand beside her, following the direction of hyejoo’s pointing finger. she squinted before letting out a laugh. "now that you mention it, it does look like yura!" she snapped a picture of the flower, making a mental note to show her groupmate later. her gaze then shifted upward, to the white blossoms on the tree. “and these are cute too! hang on—” she abruptly paused. “did you just call me small?” she pursed her lips, “i’m not small! i’m pocket-sized!”
before she could launch into a full defense of her height, her attention was stolen by a field of pastel purple and pink flowers swaying gently in the breeze. “those remind me of you,” she said. “soft and delicate.”
♡・゚the chase
         with @lgcjaehwa ♡
before coming here, hyejoo had looked up pictures of kenrokuen, just to see where they would be going to shoot their photobook. the photos online were pretty, but obviously didn't do the garden justice because she was blown away when she got there, looking at all the plum blossoms on the trees, a few stray petals blowing in the breeze. it felt like she had jumped into a painting, and she felt like the photobook had to turn out amazing with a background like this.
she had just finished one of her turns shooting, and she had some time on her schedule so she wandered off, making sure to stay close so the staff wouldn't panic that she was gone, or in case they needed her again. the gardens had so many different plants and flowers everywhere, and there was a calm, tranquil atmosphere that she appreciated. even with the chaos of a photoshoot and all the people there, it didn't seem overwhelming.
"jaehwa! look!" she said, motioning the other girl over when she spotted her, pointing to a bright pinkish red flower with a yellow center. "that flower reminds me of yura a bit. it's bold and stands out." she laughs, then moves to another flower. "and the little white ones on that that tree remind me of you, small but mighty."

animal crossing
despite having played the game before and briefly during the halloween party, sori didn’t know much about animal crossing. it’d been ages since she played by herself and she had forgotten majority of what the game was about, and during the halloween party she simply watched eunhye play, so it’d been a while since she’d actually played herself. she finds herself along jaehwa, someone she enjoys being with though it’s not too often they see each other, both busy idols and sori still a student for some time.
she turns to look at jaehwa “have you played the game before?” she questions. “it seems like we get to costumize our character and pick our island name”. she briefly looks at the game before returning her eyes to jaehwa “any ideas for an island name?” sori attempts thinking of one herself, not with much success, her only idea is combining her own and jaehwa’s name, but that feels kind of boring.

for a moment, jaehwa had completely forgotten that yuxi had spent a good chunk of her life in england. it was almost ironic how both china and britain had deep-rooted tea cultures, yet their methods of preparation couldn’t be more different.
"i forgot you've lived in two tea-loving countries," she mused, eyeing yuxi with amusement. "do you drink tea with your pinky outwards? though, judging by your collection of energy drink tabs, it looks like you’ve abandoned your roots."
her gaze shifted to the tea and sweets in front of her as the staff finished briefing them on the proper way to consume them. wait… was she supposed to eat the candy before or after drinking the tea? panic crept in as she struggled to recall the instructions. if it weren’t for the cameras still rolling, she might’ve cursed under her breath. but looking clueless on screen wasn’t an option.
subtly, jaehwa nudged yuxi with her elbow. "were we supposed to have the sweet before or after the tea?" she mumbled under her breath. an alternative plan formed in her head, and she quickly added, "or better yet, you go first, and i'll just follow your lead."
It reminded her, in a distance sort of way, of home and Yuxi didn't know how to feel about that. Granted, there were more than enough differences to differentiate the ceremony from the ones held throughout her childhood whenever she paid the elders a visit — her outfit and hair being the most obvious — but the rationale behind the motions remained similar enough, and smoothly along she followed the instructions.
As if on command, the years of conditioning kicked in and on she went complimenting the tea and its origins, inquiring about the whisk and its composition, examining the kettle and its material. She didn't realize that she had started it, it had become such second nature, until a giggle to her side drew her out of her monologue.
"My childhood was spent between China and England; it would be more surprising if I weren't one." Despite what her evergrowing collection of energy drink tabs ("the caffeine works better") may reveal about her, tea was still her preferred drink. "I think I'm more familiar with the teahouses of Seoul than the coffee shops," she admitted after a moment of reflection.

˚ ୧ .˚ₓ  TEA SNOB !
ft @lgcyuxi
silence filled the room as all eyes focused on the tea master, who gently whisked the powdered tea in the bowl using a chasen. jaehwa wasn’t sure what had come over her but as she watched the rhythmic motion of the whisk moving in slow, steady circles, she found herself slipping into a state of zen.
once the tea was prepared, it was served alongside a delicate japanese sweet that resembled mochi.
“before drinking your tea, you must first eat the sweet provided. then, pick up the tea bowl with your right hand and place it on your left palm,” the assistant instructed, demonstrating the proper japanese way to enjoy the tea. jaehwa, who typically preferred energy drinks over coffee or tea, nodded along as if she understood. in reality, she was zoning out, doing her best to stay awake by thinking about what she should have for dinner later.
just as she was deciding between ramen and sushi, a muffled voice beside her started yapping away about tea, pulling her back into the moment. "i didn't know you're such a tea snob, unnie." jaehwa laughs.

she couldn't help but mouth a silent woah, genuinely amused by the lengths soyoun had gone to just to make her father happy. when jaehwa was younger, she had done the complete opposite by driving her parents crazy, especially during her rebellious teenage years. it was a phase, one she thankfully grew out of. now, as an adult, she had matured enough to ease some of their burdens instead of adding to them.
"i know we should always work on improving ourselves, but even with things we don’t like?" she mused, stirring her yogurt absentmindedly. "i don’t think i have the heart for that." it had always been that way for her. if something didn’t interest her, it went in one ear and straight out the other. heck, back in school, she could barely focus for an hour before her mind wandered elsewhere.
"hm? i'm listening," she assured, though her attention was clearly split as she took a spoonful of yogurt. "if you’re about to explain what the role is about, let me know in advance so i can mentally prepare myself to actually focus."
At Jaehwa's words, Soyoun can't help the laugh she barks out of her chest. That was exactly what her younger self thought and felt like, until she realized playing with her dad made him happy and was his excuse of spending time with her. Despite always losing to her dad, it sort of became their father-daughter thing. Soyoun may not be the next chess grandmaster in the making, but at least she knows enough to make an informed decision and back it up. "My dad made me play when I was a kid, too," Soyoun says as she scoops out some yogurt.
"I never got good at it, but it made him happy. I like to think I learned something though." Soyoun always liked expanding her knowledge which helps her make more meaningful art and be a better performer. She's far from being a genius, but gathering information to enrich her mind and talent is always welcome. "I need the extra space though, so I try finding ways to upgrade." Humming to herself, she then turns to Jaehwa. She might have an idea. She just needs Jaehwa to hear her out. "Listen. I think I can help."

what jaehwa loved about improvisation was the freedom to fully immerse herself in a character and portray them as she believed they were meant to be played. without the constraints of a script, she didn’t have to memorize lines (which she disliked due to her forgetfulness).
“of course i’m different. unlike him, i’m cautious, manipulative, and resourceful. if it weren’t for this stupid tile, i’d have escaped by now, and you wouldn’t be pointing that gun at me.” she crossed her arms, eyes flickering to the uneven tile jutting out from the ground. the very thing that had ruined her almost-perfectly escape plan.
miyeon seemed like a meticulous person. if she had been bold enough to steal a million-dollar necklace in broad daylight, then her plan must have been carefully thought out. and for someone like her, there had to be a backup plan.
“you and i both know i had no choice in this,” she continued, her voice steady as her hand inched toward her back pocket. “and if you know what’s best for both of us, you’ll let me go now.”
truth be told, yein never thought that improvisation was her strength. she was good at following a script, at dissecting it line by line and filling the words in with feelings and nuances. she always felt like her ability to digest the script was what made her stand out, but now that there were no set lines, she has to go by her past experiences and what she thinks in the moment. but she likes being challenged like this, and she welcomes the opportunity.
"and do you think you're different?" she says, still holding the gun tightly, raised at the other girl even if she's unsure if she'll shoot. "you think that this path would lead to the same end?" her grip is firm as her eyes are fixed on jaehwa, as steady as her even voice. it's crazy to think that two neighbors, growing up alongside each other, would turn out to have such different paths. "it's for old times' sake that i didn't act as soon as i saw you." she takes a breath. "come on miyeon, don't make me do this."

“what’s wrong with that?” jaehwa asked in a high-pitched, playful tone before breaking into laughter. she knew exactly what the other meant but since she was already acting as one of the youngest, she might as well lean into it. besides, she was getting better at staying in character, teasing her peers without breaking composure.
“you mean the part where i’m yours?” she asked, returning the bow before settling down next to milan. as she listened to the little confession, she slowly brought her hands up to clutch her chest dramatically. this wasn’t the first time jaehwa had heard something like this. during fanmeets, many fans had confessed their admiration, about how she had impacted their lives, inspired them to follow their dreams, and become someone they looked up to. yet, somehow, hearing it from people still warmed her heart. knowing that there is always someone who supported her work felt just as meaningful.
“aww, thank you! that’s so sweet of you to say,” she said with a smile. “i’m sure we’ll get even closer by the end of this. in fact, i’ve been curious to learn more about my juniors.”
milan might be bad at 'flirting', she's not bad at reading the room, so she doesn't miss the slight annoyance on jaehwa's feature. in any other situation, she probably would've gulped and apologized quickly (crystallis members truly scare her), but with cameras around, this would only do for good variety content. her smile barely falters too!
the younger's laughter isn't faked, though, because jaehwa's act truly amuses her. "why does this feel kind of wrong?" she asks, referring to being called unnie by her senior.
a little more calmly, she bows her head to thank the other woman. "thank you for accepting my sudden confession. i'm bad at flirting but i'm i really mean it!" she pulls her legs to her chest and wraps her arms around them while she rocks back and forth. "you're really pretty and talented. i've watched all your dramas and i can't look away from you when you're on stage. i hope we can get closer, sunbaenim!" there's nothing bashful in her words (when is she ever bashful anyway?), still they are truthful.

˚ ୧ .˚ₓ  SCENE: 01 !
ft @lgcyein
jaehwa stood at the center of the dimly lit room, her fingers tightly clutching a necklace worth millions. just a few feet away, a gun was aimed directly at her, ready to fire at any moment. but the hesitation in the user’s grip was evident. this wasn’t jaehwa’s first time acting out a scene without a script. as an idol-actress, she had been tested countless times in previous dramas, forced to improvise on the spot. this was just another challenge.
understanding that yein’s character, boah, struggled to pull the trigger, jaehwa miyeon seized the opportunity. her expression remained unfazed, her eyes cool and calculating. at the mention of her ‘father,’ who was supposedly a thief too, she let out a scoff. “who said i’m following in his footsteps? he failed. got caught.” her voice was steady, almost mocking, as she took slow, deliberate steps forward. a smirk tugged at the corner of her lips. “you said it yourself. we used to be neighbors. can’t you turn a blind eye for old times’ sake?” her tone was almost teasing, her confidence unwavering. “i promise, i won’t be as dumb as him. i won’t get caught twice.”

jaehwa had zero interest or knowledge in chess. she had seen videos of people playing on television and found them dull despite the game’s reputation as a strategic exercise for the brain. watching her family members play often put her to sleep. although they once tried to teach her the roles of each chess piece, her disinterest quickly erased whatever she learned. so when the crystallis members had to decide on a chess piece, jaehwa was naturally at a loss.
“thanks,” she said, accepting the yogurt cup from the older member. “not yet. i was forced to learn chess once. but since i hated it, none of it stuck,” she added calmly while peeling off the yogurt seal. “i mean, why would i keep something i was forced to learn? my brain has limited storage space, and i’m definitely not paying for an upgrade.”

Growing up, Soyoun had never considered herself a chess expert. That was more of her dad's thing, so she supposes she knows enough basics just to get by. Or at least come to a conclusion which chess piece she wants for herself. Although she has some options, she settles for one that matches her role with the team overall. Though she's satisfied with her decision, she still wants to hear what the others have decided on.
Settling next to Jaehwa, Soyoun offers her a yogurt cup before getting straight to the point. "Have you chosen a chess piece yet?" She pouts as she contemplates her life choices, considering she wonders whether Alize will agree with her or not on her chess piece and the reasoning behind it. She only has bare minimum knowledge of chess, all of which came from her dad. She can play a few games, but there's no guarantee she'll win. "How good are you at chess?"
