Radical Christians (especially those on the right) make me so angry.

That being said, a lot of my friends are non-radcial Christians. They accept my practices as a wiccan and I even saw a family that I'm friends with who are all Christian at the Philadelphia Pride Parade (2019) with signs that said "God loves the LGBT community" and t-shirts that said "Free mom hugs" and their children were handing out water and Gummi candy and one of them is a priest and he had a sign that said "God loves our gay friends and neighbors" and I run up to them and hug them and say how happy I am to see them and one of their daughters asked me out. Our relationship lasted a year but then they moved away. I think about her a lot.

Edit: my commentary had nothing to do with George Floyd. I apologize. (ADHD, my mind is everywhere.) I really want to think positive about this trial but its hard when we have so many people blaming George Floyd for his own death, and that is disgusting. All Cops are Bastards, that won't change unless we change it by force. I don't mean attacking cops. I mean defunding police and protesting the teaching style of police academies in the USA. (At least in PA, where I live, the police academy teaches you to shoot if you feel threatened or afraid. Unfortunately, older generations (gen x, boomers) have made it okay to have unjust fear of black people. "White privilege" shouldn't be a thing, and I believe the only thing that makes me (a white woman) or my dad (a white man) any more privileged than my uncle and cousin who are black or biracial or my friends and ex who are black is that we can walk down the street and not look suspicious to anyone. We could be hiding knives in our pockets or have a gun on us and people wouldn't care, but the moment an unarmed black man or woman walks behind white people, it immediately looks suspicious. My first boyfriend was black and on our first date (at a mall) we were stopped by no less than 3 white men and a mall cop to ask if I was okay. It was awful, he is the kindest person I've ever met.

For a high moral set of Christian standards right wing politics (including white right wing) have, they always want to bring up a person's past as a ground to discredit someone.

Why do I say that?

Because tomorrow is Derek Chauvin murder trial of George Floyd.

This trial is about Derek Chauvin but best believe naysayers and blue lives matter will put George Floyd himself on trial. They will use his criminal record, his personal relationships and his drug use against even in death. But forget the man was trying to turn his life around. He found faith in God. But as we all know the Christian walk is not without temptations trials and struggles. God tells us to let it go and not hold a grudge. But us Christians preach Christianity without forgiveness and understanding. The only current fault is that George struggle with addiction. And America as a whole should understand how hard it is to break a habit.

But yeah that's my two cents on that.

Derek Chauvin's trial begins tomorrow. And they gonna go after George in order to pain an ugly picture.

We arent trying to make George a saint a hero or a martyr. But his death highlighted and nationalized an already existing social justice issue.

This is why I would never self-identify as a feminist but would still like to punch a blatantly sexist person in the face. Duality of people is a concept I believe in. I've also been to high school. Women can be violent and predatory. The little bitch from high school taught me to hate other women and only hang around men. It took me until my senior year to have friends who weren't men or ftm transgender men. (I say men and women because we're all adults now.) I am still mistrusting of most women I went to school with. I'm also mistrusting of creepy old men from work who relentlessly sexually harass me. Duality. No one, regardless of sex or gender is inherently bad. No one, regardless of sex or gender is inherently good. Everyone has duality. It should not matter what genitals you possess.

I hate to break it to self-identified “radical feminists” but saying “men are inherently violent and predatory, women are inherently innocent and good, and which category you fall into is determined solely by your crotch” is not, in fact, a radical countercultural idea, that’s just patriarchy. Thats like a third of the Republican platform. You just added pure self interest (maybe I and people who look and act like me shouldnt be oppressed) and decided that you’re some kind of dangerous rebel. You’re not. You’re just regurgitating shitty old conservative ideology that you internalized.

My sister was at her girlfriends house when she received this text. She told me she started crying.

My mother is an abusive, condescending bitch.

This is a text I sent my sister just now. I've been keeping this from her for months. My mother probably doesn't even remember talking about this but this is an example of the passive aggressive or sometimes outright offensive things I am told every fucking day. There's a reason her name in my phone is "mommy dearest." Shes just as abusive of the mother in that movie but its mental abuse. She wonders why I want to leave or die. She wonders why we don't come to her for advice. She wonders why I wish she was actually physically abusive so people would fucking notice and do something about it. She wonders why I misbehave. She wonders why I have my entire family, both immediate and extended, blocked on all social media.

She fucking wonders why I hate her 99% of the time. The level of disrespect for us and our friends and girlfriends and fucking gaslighting she does when we try to confront her is beyond what it needs to be.

I was telling her one of my friends came out as transgender, ftm, and she deadass asked me if I'm "like a fucking magnet to these people."

I showed her JK Rowlings transphobic tweets and she had the audacity to agree with her.

Both of my parents are transphobic but my mom takes it to a ridiculous level, misgendering and dead naming my friends who have transitioned or are in the process of transitioning and asking my girlfriend TO HER FUCKING FACE "so when are you gonna stop playing dressup?" And she also said "my daughters are gonna marry men." Or something along the lines of "you don't really wanna date a (t slur,) do you?" And asked me what the point of having s*x with my girlfriend is if she has a p*nis, because she's pre-transition physically and "why can't you just get a boyfriend?" Completely ignoring years of trauma that made me want to date women and not straight men.

These don't even scratch the surface of what happened to me and what continues to happen. I'm terrified of coming out as nonbinary to my parents because when I came out as queer they reacted with all the reasons they think I'm cishet, mostly "if you were gay you wouldn't have been so broken after (blank) broke up with you." Or "if you're queer why are you obsessing over a boy?" Or "I think you're straight for this bullshit reason." Or "you have a celebrity crush on Bucky Barnes! That must mean you're straight!" I'm pansexual, but I didn't want to deal with the "so you want to fuck cookware" joke.

A lot of this is only my mother. It was almost never my dad but he didn't do anything to stop her and actively tries to hinder me dressing how I want even though as an adult I can wear what I want and no one can say shit about it.
