A Very Winters Birthday

As if things haven't been hectic enough, Noemi and Hunter ended up having their birthdays on the same day.

While Noemi wasn't too thrilled about having to share her birthday with her little brother, she quickly got over it once she got to makeover her new big girl bedroom.

Upon watching both of their children age up and having to move the crib into storage again, Eira and Geeta had a very deep conversation about the future. They both ended up agreeing that just one more little bundle of joy would make their family complete.

However, that will have to wait a bit. Poor Weenie got infested with fleas, and they really gotta take care of that. Luckily with the success of their business ventures, they can afford to get her the best treatment possible.

Season's Greetings Legacy Challenge

Eira and Geeta were so in love with their sweet little Noemi, but they both knew they wanted an even bigger family. But for them to have a bigger family, they needed a bigger house. Luckily Eira's baking and Geeta's nectar making has grown successful enough for them to have more than enough money to add a second story to their once quaint little home.

Soon enough, they also found that they had more room in the old crib, because Noemi was ready for her big girl bed. She may have been stinky while blowing out her candles, but that didn't stop her from having a good birthday.

It was almost too perfect, because soon after that, Eira and Geeta decided they were ready to have their second baby, a sweet little boy named Hunter.

They weren't sure how Noemi was going to feel about her new baby brother, so they figured they'd try to make the change easier for her by getting her an additional new friend, a dog named Weenie.

While the new dog made her happy, that didn't completely stop her from being confused about the new baby. She thought SHE was her mommies' baby!!!

"Don't worry my sweet girl," said Eira as she sat down to read her daughter a story. "Your mommies will always have time for you."

Seasons Greetings Legacy Challenge

Hello! My name's Levi and I decided I wanted to start blogging some of my Sims gameplay in an attempt to connect more with the Sims community. The current save I'm focusing on that I figured would be good to start with due to it being fairly new is the Seasons Greetings Legacy Challenge, created by @lemonkate This is a really cute legacy challenge where each generation represents a different month of the year and has a ruleset that is solid enough to give you a bit of a push in the right direction, but not so rigid that you can't make your sims and their stories unique and true to yourself and your style of gameplay.

Catching Up With December

While this save is still fairly new, I have made a bit of progress in it and feel that it would be a bit disingenuous to post everything that already happened as if it's currently happening, so I figured with this post I'll give a bit of an overview on what's already happened to catch everyone up to speed so that future posts don't cause confusion.

Eira Winters

This is my founder/December sim, Eira Winters. Eira is Welsh for snow, so I figured it was a cute and creative name for such a wintery girl. Especially because I kinda phoned it in with her last name 😂 Eira aspires to have a big happy family. She is generous, loyal, and cheerful. She's OBSESSED with the Christmas season and it shows in her home decor.

Eira loves baking and is so confident with her skills in the kitchen that she insists on getting by solely by selling her delicious treats. It can be a bit of a grind at times, but seeing the smile on her patrons' faces after they take a bite of one if her desserts makes it all worthwhile.

Love at First Bite

Not everything was all pies and cupcakes though. Eira had a massive heart and nobody to share it with. That is, until a kindhearted woman with slightly calloused hands happened to cross her path.

Geeta was just another customer at Eira's dessert table. That didn't stop Eira from immediately becoming smitten by her however. There was something about the way that Geeta carried herself that piqued her interest. The obvious strength in her physical presence, but paired with a soft spoken demeanor and gentle disposition that made it clear she would never hurt a fly. She ordered a blueberry bagel. They talked about their passions. Geeta liked to make nectar. Before Eira knew it, Geeta was asking her on a date and the rest is history. They had a beautiful wedding (which I unfortunately don't have any pictures of because my computer decided it didn't want to hold them in my screenshot folder for some reason 🙃) After Geeta moved in, the 2 of them pooled their money together and built a nectar shed for Geeta as well as an extra room to their home. Their plan was to work hard and save up their money to put together a nursery and have a science baby together.

Noemi Is Born

It took a bit of patience and a LOT of hard work, but eventually they were able to furnish the nursery and bring home a bundle of joy. They created a beautiful baby girl that they named Noemi. She is their pride and joy. Stay tuned for future updates on the life of the Winters family ❤️😁
