Some of my earliest cartoon memories are of this show and it's amazing how that line stuck with me through all these years.

Transformers: Cyberworld, not to be confused with Transformers: Cyberverse, or with Transformers: Cybertron, which is part of the Unicron Trilogy and not the War for Cybertron Trilogy, which is also different than Transformers: War for Cybertron, all of which should not be confused with Cybertron the planet, which is itself not to be confused with Dark Cybertron the storyline from both The Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye and The Transformers: Robots in Disguise comics, the latter of which should not be confused with Transformers: Robots in Disguise from 2001 or with Transformers: Robots in Disguise from 2015,

Savvy vampires and simpleton werewolves: a rebuttal
Whenever I encounter media that delves into the politics of vampires or werewolves, it almost always presents vampires as politically savvy and werewolves as politically simplistic.
I get that there are reasons for this. Vampires and werewolves often function as symbols of different classes. Vampires almost always represent the upper class. Quick: when’s the last time you saw a vampire who had to work for the money to buy nice houses and stylish clothes? Werewolves, by contrast, almost always represent the poor and working class. Quick: when was the last time you recall a werewolf being the power behind the (human) throne?
Yet, if you think about it, vampires are more likely to be solitary predators, and werewolves are more likely to be part of a social unit. On top of that, vampires are effectively frozen in time while werewolves are intensely alive and dynamic. In that vein, the more social creature would have more sophisticated ways of navigating social situations, and the creature more prone to stasis would be less capable of adapting to an ever-shifting landscape of mortal politics.
Furthermore, a lot of politics centers around access to and control of resources. All a vampire needs to survive is a source of blood and a place to sleep away from sunlight. Werewolves, by contrast, need food, shelter, and a safe, private place to transform. Those needs increase exponentially if we’re talking about a group of werewolves in a particular area.
Finally, there’s the nature of these creatures themselves.
Vampires are timeless. Who gives a shit who runs what country? They’ll be dead in a century anyway. Who cares if some other vampire doesn’t want you feeding on their turf? You have seven billion other meals to choose from. Who cares if some mortal pissant fancies themselves a vampire hunter? You can drain them dry in the blink of an eye. Or, failing that, take a hundred-year nap, and they’ll be dead when you wake up. You’re immortal, so you have no need to leave a legacy. Otherwise, you have zero reasons to give a fuck about anything but your next meal. If you get involved in the world, the most you’ll get out of it is amusement, and even that only lasts a little while.
Werewolves, on the other hand, are part of the world in a way vampires can never be. It matters who has power and what they do with it. It matters who lives inside a sphere of influence and the nature of the relationships within it. Werewolves need and want things more meaningful than their own comfort and amusement. Simply put, the stakes are higher for them. They’d be good at politics because they’d have to be.
So, can we get more stories where they’re a lot more savvy? Please?

Doctor Who is a great fandom to be in on tumblr because you'll see spoilers everywhere but not a single one of them is coherent unless you've seen the episode anyway. like oh the glorbon is secretly trying to ensnare humanity in a giant crab trap? the new companion Jiminy Pubble turned out to be the latest regeneration of the Doctor's old enemy The Fuckwizard? thanks I know less than I did before
