Less Than <30′s on Kickstarter

It’s crazy to think a little over a year ago our writer/star Angela Morris had just completed her first draft of our indie rom-com. A cast of wonderful Chicago based actors including: Ann Hagemann, Catherine McCafferty, Tommy Beardmore, and Domenica Cameron-Scorsese has brought the John Lerchen directed film to life, and Less Than 30 is now in post-production. The Girls’ Guide to Online Dating

When a girl's mother tells her that she's going to, and I quote, die alone, said girl may choose to turn to the internet in order to spite-date her way through the city of Chicago. The girl will NOT, however, throw all of her standards out the window of her fifth floor walk-up. Thus, I give you "The Girls’ Guide to Online Dating," or, "My Mother Is a Raging Monster and If You're Still Reading This Yours Probably Is Too so Let's Be Friends."

Without further ado, the Rules:

The prospective date MUST:

1~ Be physically attractive. What is the point of online boyfriend shopping if you don’t order the cute one?

2~ Use proper grammar on his profile. If he can’t muster up the energy to proof read, take a wild guess about what else he’s going to neglect.

3~ Live in Chicago proper. I refuse to enter the suburbs.

4~ Not post bathroom selfies.... No. Just no.

5~ Be 30% or less compatible. Remember, it’s spite dating. We are not looking for a soul mate here.

Columbia College Chicago Alum John Lerchen Directs & Produces Upcoming Film!

LESS THAN 30 is a relationship comedy currently filming in Chicago. The feature is written by Angela Morris, who stars as Alexa, a woman who is pressured by her Mother (played by Ann Hagemann) to find a relationship and takes a curious approach by only dating those matched at less than 30% on a matchmaking website. Columbia College Chicago alum John Lerchen is directing and is producing the film alongside Austin Turner and Hagemann.
