i’m not really ever going to make this a finished drawing so i might as well post it. i had a dream a while back about some comic wolfmon/lobomon appeared in and he just looked like this. this was the normal way he looked

new silly au idea. replace ben’s blue alien buddy with a blue alien buddy

— The omnitrix symbol is a Plumber’s badge (because they’re riffing off Ben’s reputation/alliance with the Plumbers), this is not Ben as an Andalite/Ax with the omnitrix — Morphing tech seems like just a downgrade compared to the omnitrix, and it is - Andalites are smart, but not yet Galvan smart. However, Ax is able to do what Ben can’t since he doesn’t have a UI in the way of mixing DNA samples, and can directly morph and imitate anyone he can get his hands on. Also, every morph gets thought-speech, which is incredibly useful - crossing language barriers, such as in Vulpimancer morph, or speaking when gagged or otherwise impeded. — Ax generally carries a Plumber-issue blaster, plus some restraints & other little useful items on his belt. He’s also a quick mind with other species’ tech, but ironically worse with most computers because he’s used to Andalite thought-to-command tech, not a physical command input. — Ax comes across to Ben as very stiff and by-the-book at first, because this is his first actual assignment - he was only an aristh before transferring to the Plumbers, and had never before been off the Andalite homeworld. This changes once Ax gets the chance to acquire a human morph; Ben always declined his own DNA due to the Albedo situation, but Ax gets a chance with some human civilians he and Ben rescued to ask for DNA samples, and Frolises together his own morph. Ax immediately proves himself the biggest dork ever, he and Ben goof off the rest of the day having human fun.

Yeerks do exist, but are both more and less dangerous - there are far more dangerous alien species to infest, but many of them (ie Pyronites) are not inhabitable for Yeerks at all, and with the Plumbers existing, there’s an even larger galactic force impeding their spread; this is sort of the basis for the Andalite/Plumbers partnership, after a history of tense relations. Ben and Ax very publicly getting along does a great deal towards keeping peace between the two.

Haven’t decided what the human Animorphs are up to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ probably living normal lives, maybe the walk through the construction site just lead them to hang out more often.
