Yeah I like just learned how to look at other reblogs didn't see that one my bad BUT NOW-
Technus would be horrified. Straight up horrified because this is a *baby* and he could've *hurt himself* and those awful ghost hunters are trying to hurt him.
Yeah the next time Danny sees Technus he finds himself in a warehouse with the ghostly cooing about *safe, comfort, relax* and has possibly the best sleep he's had since the portal opened
Danny’s Ghosts
I was just thinking about this one thing I saw where Danny’s ghosts are actually playing with him. At first, some of them were actually fighting, not realizing he was a baby ghost, but most of them are nowadays just being friendly. It’s normal for young ghosts to be rowdy, and Danny is a lil baby, so they don’t think much of it.
So what if after something happened, that lead him to fleeing into Gotham, because we love our haunted city, and the ghosts panic because “Uh oh! Baby is missing!” When they eventually find him, probably still hurt, and at the very least more than traumatized with everything, and they’re like “Oh- no time for playing, baby needs help- who is baby’s parents- what do we do-” and Danny is just instantly ready to try to fight them, and it finally clicks.
Danny didn’t know that their fights were just playing around. Maybe he’d caught on to some of them, but for the most part, he genuinely believed they wanted to hurt him. And that hurt for a few of the ghosts. So now, in this random city, the ghosts are doing everything they can to both prove they’re not EVER going to actually hurt him, and in turn doing their best to make sure nothing else can since he’s very weak and tired rn.
They would have taken him to his parent, but they quickly realized the baby ghost doesn’t actually have a parent. Horrifying realization when he’s the heir to the throne-
Cue the bats running around trying to catch this odd meta child and get him some help, only for random things to get in their way. None of them know what’s happening, but it’s more than clumsiness when even Dick ends up getting flung off course by something invisible.

So, uh...I started playing Spiritfarer.
This game makes my heart ache in a special way.
For a bit of background; my partner bought me this game for our monthly gift ritual thing since I got it for them. They'd played a little before and I'd never heard of it, so I watched them play the first like 5 or 10 minutes? Was probably longer BUT anyway-
I'm further along in the game than them now. I didn't really mean to get as far as I am now but my boss shafted the hell out of my hours so I really don't have anything else to do. I've gained and had to say goodbye to a few characters (So far Alice made me sob the most) and realized something that may seem small but it's a lot for me.
This is a game I would play with my Memere.
My Memere (paternal grandma) was the sweetest lady I'd ever known. She was, according to my dad, the "neighborhood mom" back in the day. She'd sit awake with me till like 3 or 4 in the morning and still wake up at 6 to put on the coffee. Every time I was at her house she had this one cake me and my sister liked, and whenever the mood struck she'd make baked mac n cheese, which to this day remains my favorite home cooked meal. She was even willing, even in her age and severe medical issues, willing to take me into her home when I got out of the hospital the first time my own mental issues cropped up (Dad was who I ended up with in the end.) But this game, despite the semi foul language, honestly seems like something she'd like to watch. Something she'd appreciate.
This isn't my normal content and I'm sorry for that. But I just wanted a place to put it down and into words.

Skulker started as one of the ones who was fighting for real, eager to get his hands on a halfa pelt. But when he realizes that this halfa wasn't like Vlad, wasn't fully aware of who he was or what he was or heck even what most of his powers are he feels *guilt*. He wants to make it up to the lil baby but doesn't quite know how. Later on, if Danny gets a strange box full of useful new gadgets or a detailed description of a few ghosts he's been struggling with, well, Skulker will claim to know nothing.
I imagine a few of the other actually fight ghosts were Penelope and Walker, before they too realize and suddenly Danny's not getting harassed by ghosts super often (not like Walker's taken to scolding the ghosts who play too rough with the baby) and he's been feeling less stressed (Spectra figures that maybe a bit of late night chamomile rather than straight coffee was a good swap and it's not like he'd notice the poor boys tastebuds are probably nonexistent from the portal incident) But you know who would've known dang near immediately?
Kitty and Johnny.
The two of them died close to Danny's age when he "died" and they know the signs since it wasn't so long ago that they were like that. So yeah, they'd play around with the baby ghost.
But once he hit Gotham? Oh, *every* ghost would be trying to make sure he doesn't get killed. Skulkers spending time messing with bigger threats like Bane and Technus is running circles around the Riddler (he's not even all that dangerous, Technus just finds it funny to see him rage). If the Joker so much as sneezed in Danny's direction Nocturne's putting him in sleepy time out.
Forgive me writing on phone is difficult
Edit cause I forgot: Dick was absolutely thrown off course by Ember. She's pumped to smack people with her guitar and he was just close enough

Bonus if he tries to figure out who Constantine is and proceeds to stumble his way into some shenanigans thanks to Clockwork's more than cryptic advice.
I don't know much about DC, but seeing all these things about Danny owning Constantine somehow... what if instead of an ancestor, the different demons Constantine sold his soul to are all technically vassals of the Ghost King (hell dimensions being part of the Infinite Realms) and they decided to offload their useless rights to Constantine's soul as part of their taxes?
