I am Ahmed, I live with my family of 7 in harsh conditions that are beyond our ability to bear. We live in a dilapidated tent that provides us with no protection from the harsh winter cold, and as winter approaches, we find ourselves unable to face these conditions without help.

My brother and his wife live with us, and his wife is about to give birth. In the difficult circumstances we are going through, the child will not be able to bear living in these bad conditions and will not be able to bear the bitter cold.

Our goal from this campaign is to raise money to renew the tent that shelters us, buy clothes to protect our children from the harsh cold, in addition to providing the necessary amount to enable us to escape this hell that threatens our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

Every day that passes makes our situation more difficult, and we live in constant fear of losing a family member to the cold and hunger. We are trying with all our might to keep those who remain alive, and we hope to find among you someone who will extend a helping hand.

We are grateful to everyone who reads these words and chooses to be a part of saving our lives.

I am Alaa Salama , 30 years old, married to Nabila Jabr Salama, 28 years old. I have two children: Muhammad, 7 years old, and Sham, 6 years old.

I have a family that needs healthy food and clean water and I can't find them because of the siege and the closure of the crossings. They suffer from malnutrition, lack of medicine and the spread of skin allergies due to the extreme heat. This is a picture with the rest of my family. The war took all their dreams and ambitions. They were left without education and without shelter. Their fate has become unknown. A picture of them all. Unfortunately, time is not on our side, as the aggression on the Gaza Strip escalates every day. The sounds of explosions get louder the closer they get, and all family members feel terrified, especially the children.

I am Ahmed from Gaza, 26 years old. I stand before you as a person trying to support my family of 7: me, my father, my mother and my sisters, in our miserable circumstances, which we live in after the occupation launched the war on Gaza. We were displaced from our home and it was completely destroyed. We are now living in shelters. Due to the circumstances and low income, we are unable to provide the necessary benefits such as food and drink due to the crazy increase in prices. Thus, my source of livelihood has been destroyed, but it has been completely destroyed, as we are no longer entitled to work; and we expect to live in miserable conditions in the shelters. It is difficult for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in the shelters; without food, medicine or clean drinking water; with the oppression, helplessness, psychological pressures, doubts and daily shocks caused by everything around us and the inability to care for our loved ones. The fear of danger, disease and death never leaves us.

Now, I find myself in this difficult situation, and I humbly ask for your help to save the lives of my family, especially my father and mother, by getting us out of Gaza to Egypt and building a new life outside Gaza or helping us get money to buy the necessities that we may be able to afford. Asking for help is not easy, but we had no choice because we want to survive and strive to rebuild our shattered lives. We are very grateful for any help you can offer, no matter how small, as your help will go a long way in alleviating our suffering. I hope you will share my story with your family and friends.”
