It was remus' first day at his new secondary school. His parents finally Finally allowing him out to mingle with his peers after spending too much time in their offices at the university nearby.

Not that he minded. The books were soothing and the hustle and bustle of students on campus kept him company in the libraries nooks, always watching but never interacting.

So, being here at hogwarts was a bit of a mindfuck. Everyone was wearing the same uniforms, all heading to different places but there was no nook for him to hide in, no place to observe his peers as they made their way to their classes.

He stood in the entrance to the school for a while. The hallways were loud, louder than he was used to and he could barely hear over the din until he was almost knocked off his feet.

"watch it," he spoke to the guy who had bumped into him before meeting blue blue eyes and a black fringe that fell in soft waves around his forehead.

"how bout you do the same" he snapped back with a smirk. he walked off, not chancing a glance back but remus couldnt look away. how could someone so, so aggrivating be so beautiful.
