Believing in oneself's strength to conquer trials is never easy to achieve. It requires alot of courage and confidence in order to muster.Some people are gifted for they are born with this talent while others are still trying to get it. Honestly, Im not one of the gifted, Im part of the few who cannot stand alone on a stage facing alot of people. Im not someone who can just talk about my ideas openly and share them with confidence. Im emotional, weak and have low self esteem. Im like a bird with broken wings who dreams to fly.

This is the week for our Demo day, the day wherein every sweat will be paid of, every failure will be worth it and every goals will be known. Every group will be given 10 minutes that includes the pitching, product demonstration and the question and answer portion. Every group's designated pitchers where all dressed up for the part. And every members were there getting ready for the questions to ask after.

Demo day for team PotatoChips started of with abit of problems. We were supposed to be the 2nd group to present but a problem arises with our products functionality. We were so lucky that one group decided to swap with us which gave us time to fix the problem. It was indeed a nerve wrecking and anxious day for each of us. However, those negative feelings were blown away when we were able to fix the problem. In the end, we were able to have pitching presentation even though we were bombarded with alot of questions fro m.the panels.

This semester wont be completed without our technopreneurship class headed by our instructor, Mr. Mabulay. In this subject, we were able to learn from our failures, to improve ourselves and to get to know more of the people around us. We were also able to work as a group and depend on each others strength. As for me, I earned the courage to voice out my thoughts and ideas to my groupmate. I was also able to believe in my own strength and capabilities as an individual. Overall, this subject was really helping me to finally stretch out my wings and learn to fly. Thanks alot for the learnings Sir Bronson, we owe you alot. And thats all for this semester!Adios!

Entry 14

Everything happens for a reason, and those reasons are what makes life colorful. It helps us know our lifes true purpose and meaning. It gives light towards the path we are born to travel. However, those reasons are not easy to know, it takes alot of failures and challenges in order to reach. Without those setbacks, we will just be like a wanderer who dont know where to go.

Last week was our last day before the Demo day. It was the week for preparation and finalization of our products. During this week, we did have our last update report and the pre-pitching for the demo day. After the presentation our instructor sir Bronson gave us comments and suggestions that would make our pitching satisfactory.

After the pre pitching happened, we were back to work our project. We finalize the design and inputted the water dispenser. It was a week full of pressures and stress. Everything was racing to reach the finale and it was indeed a tiring one.

Our technopreneurship class gave us alot of things to keep. We were able to deal with different people, to accept rejections and to work as a team. We ask learned so much on how to deal with the world of business, this is thanks to all the help and knowledge shared by our instructor and business mentor, Mr. Mabulay. And for that, we give you our gratitude.

Entry 13

Indeed success is never a coincidence, its something that you needed to work out with your own strength and determination. Failure is never an enemy towards achieving success, instead it acts as our backbone in obtaining it. It pushes us in reaching the pinnacle of success. It gives our lives purpose and meaning.

After the leaving our product for a week, we were able to gather alot of comments and suggestions for our project. Most of the comments were about the physical look of it and abit for its functionality. One particular comment that is highly on top of our list is the addition of the water storage for the dog. Since water is a very basic necessity, we considered it as the top priority.

After finding a way to add the automatic water dispenser, we proceed on fixing the physical look of our product.We wanted to make the product more presentable for the clients. We decided to paint it to change its appearance and make it look more appealing to the eyes. While working for the body, we were also working with the pitch deck and other requirements to be pass.

This week was truly a week to grow. To grow as an individual who is ready to accept critics from people. Accepting isnt just the end, we also needs doing something about the problem. Act on the negative thing and make it to a positive one. This is just few of the things i learned last week. Thats all, thanks for reading.

Entry 12

Starting a journey is never easy. You gotta be equip with the things that would help you in surviving that journey. Everyone has individual ways on how to deal with it but there are people who tend to choose to not face it alone and do it with the people he trust.

Last week was indeed a fulfilling week for us. It was the time when we launched our product in our technopreneurship class. The product which is the Automatic dog feeder was launched at Baconga Street, Lapasan Cagayan de Oro City. It was really a worthwhile event because we were able to see the fruits of our sweats and hardwork.

Last week we also had a discussion in our technopreneurship class. Wherein we learned alot of lessons about customer acquisition cost, marketing strategies and many more. It was a week full of knowledge and learnigns worth keeping. As a group, we had decided to work out on the requirements needed to be passed for the next week.

The launching of our product was indeed a success. Even though we were having a hard time managing pur schedules and other requirements, we still was able to accomplish it with our strength as a team. I learned not only to work hard but also to believe in my own skills that I can do things if I put my heart into it.

Entry 11

Our lives can never be completed without challenges and problems in it. It could never be considered as life if its only filled with all the sweet things in the world. Those bitter things are added in order for us to create a more satisfying taste of life. Bitter things maybe faced alone but there are times when we tend to ask for help from others.

Last week was filled with problems and hassles that we had faced as a group. It was when we did the project making which we really did have a hard time. We encountered alot of problems especially in final design of our project. We did alot of experimenting and a bunch of trials and error in order to achieve the most awaited product. During that week, we also had the discussion about the customer segment in which we learned alot of new things that is needed in our project.

As a group we had a really hard time. There was some little disagreements that lead to small misunderstandings. However, it was considered a good thing for we had learned our mistake. With cooperation and strength from our individual members, we not only grow as a group but also as individuals.

Challenges indeed is present in our everyday lives. For this week, I have learned to face them not only by myself but with other people who is willing to do it with me. It maybe a week full of hardships, its still considered as a week worth experiencing.Thats all for today!

Entry 10

Obtacles and hassles are all part of life. These are the things that either pushes us to give our all or pulls us back towards our goal. It is never easy to face them, you need to have the strength and determination to conquer them with all your might. However, those obstacles and hassles will feel lesser when youre facing it with someone by your side. Someone who will help you push away those hurdles that may come your way.

Last week was indeed a crazy week for me. Just like the usual weeks, we had our update reports regarding or products/projects. During that time we were given suggestions from our instructor. We were also told that we should be launching our product preferably during the 2nd week of February in order to have early time to gather early adopters.

In our group meetings, we discussed about alot of things and what our main topic was the launching date. Our group had a hard time finalizing our product and it was a big problem for us. In order for us to lessen the workload, one of our groupmate volunteered to do the casing of our product. It was done superbly, and now our problem was to finalize the mechanism that would complete our project. Its gonna be hard but hopefully were gonna be able finished it before the set launching date.

It was indeed a very tiring one for me. I faced alot of challenges and hurdles that I thought I would be able to surpass. But I guess I was wrong all along, because those challenges and hurdles arent meant to be faced alone. It needs to be faced with the people whose ready to help you and willing to walk the rocky path with you. Thats all and Thanks for reading!!!

The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people -Randy Pausch.

Last week was filled with alot of things to be talked about. In our technopreneurship class, we had our report update regarding our product. During the presentation, we discussed our finalize business model canvass, customers feedbacks, and where we are in our milestone. It was indeed a troubling week because we were told to launch our product hopefully by the 2nd week of February and we were still not able to finalize the materials for it.

After the presenting the update report, we gathered as a group to finalize our product materials, mechanisms and all. We did some thorough research to conclude our materials. We also did planned the launching date for our product, which is likely the 2nd week of February as what our instructor suggested. Since we already finalize our product, we are still now looking for the right materials that should be used.

This week I have gained a valuable lesson that really helped me in facing challenges. That lesson was having the determination to achieve what I wanted. Ive been a lazy and passive person,and when faced with bricks of challenges , I sometimes tend to stop breaking it for I know I dont the capacity for it. But this week taught me to be determined in breaking the bricks that are blocking my way. I know its gonna be a hard time but with my team mates support I know we can all achieve success. "Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life--think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success." Swami Vivekananda. Making a small seed grow would take alot of time and hassles but if we tend to think of the bigger picture and imagine a full grown plant, then every sweat and hard work will be worth it. Its the same with working on a small idea with all your heart put into it, the more you struggle the more you visualize the bigger picture and help you in striving to turn the small idea to a big one.

BUSY. Thats the perfect word that would describe last week.It the exams week and was a weeklong torture and punishment for those students including me, who wasnt able to study a week before. During that week,.we also had our Pitching for our Technopreneurship class, wherein we had James and Ira as our pitchers. Throughout the pitch, I can say that we were able to present our idea well not only because we had amazing pitchers but also a supportive team. In conclusion with the pitching, we were able to gather alot of ideas and suggestions from the panels that would help us make our product have more features and thus more advanced than the other existing ones.

After the pitching, we gathered as a group and decided to finalize our product materials. By that we had done some research and we also considered what the panels wanted to add in our project. We only had a little time to discuss it due to our scheds and other requirements to pass. But in the end, we were able to patch things up and decided to have another meeting to finalize our materials.

It feels like a very long week for me and in the span of 7 days i was able to learn and gain valuable lessons. One is managing my time well, Ive had a problem with time management for awhile and last week gave me inputs on how to deal with it. Another important lesson i learned is to believe in myself. Im a person with very low self esteem and so little confidence with myself, but this week i was able to talk in front of people. Even though i was shaking and all, it was still a worthwhile experience just like a seed sprouting a leaf. Thats all for last week, Thanks!

According to Deng Ming-Dao, "those who don't know how to suffer are the worst off. There are times when the only correct thing we can do is to bear out troubles until a better day". I think everyone faces challenges every day in order to grow and move forward. And last week was not an exception for those challenges.

Last week were filled with a lot of events where in we learned and grow as an individual and as a group. During our first meeting for the week in our technopreneurship class, we had a short discussion and an update presentation for our project. All of us in the group were assigned to different parts of our presentation, and as for me, i was assigned to report our milestones. The presentation went well for us and at the same time we also gathered some ideas from our instructor.

After the presentation of our project updates, we decided to continue making our pitch deck. We spent hours and a few mins each day to plan for our template and on how to present our ideas in a clear and concise way. We also did picked out our most talented people to be assigned in presenting our product and our group. We also had encountered alot of problems along the way but we still able to surpass those challenges head on.

It was indeed a very busy week, not just for me but for everyone in the class. Throughout that week, I encountered problems and hassles that made me feel uncomfortable and unproductive. It was a challenging week but in the end, I still did won the game for I have not only beat those problems but i also did gained and learned lessons from them. Thats all for last week, thanks!!

Entry 6

Learning is way to grow not just as a student but as a human being bound to face many challenges. A year has finally come to an end and another has finally started. This new year will be a new beginning for us to learn new things and use it later in life. We may not know what these lessons are but for sure its gonna be of help in the coming hurdles.

Last week was our first week of classes for this year. It maybe short for others but for me, it already felt like a semesters worth of time. During our Technoprenuership class last week, we had discussions in which we were a le to learned new things and gather up ideas for our project. One of the discussion for this week is the pitching. We were able to learn and understand those things needed for a good product pitching.

When it comes to our group project, we were able to discuss more about our solution for the problem. We gathered together and planned for those things that we needed to do or to pass. We also did brainstorm ideas regarding our pitching presentation which would take place during the midterm week. It was a bit of a hassle to find time for us to flock together because weve been bombarded with other subject's requirements. Despite the problem that we had faced, we still able to meet and discuss objectively.

This week had given me alot of realizations and things to learn from. It was indeed a super busy week that for me it already equals a whole month of work. Despite all the hassles, troubles and problems faced, i still can say that this week is a bountiful one. Learning to keep track of time and managing it at the same time was one of the things that I truly earned for this week. Thats all for this week, Adios!!

Entry 5

Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do-Pele. Indeed success is never a coincidence, its something that you needed to work out with your own strength and determination. Last week is our 2nd proposal in our technopreneurship class. It is when we presented our validated problem and the project modifications. Just like every group, we also did presented our revised proposal which is the Smart Feeding System. Upon the presentation, we considered all the comments and suggestions that Sir Bronson told us from our first proposal. With Gods Glory paired with our team's cooperation and hard work, we were able to obtain the approval of our instructor and all the tired days was all worth it.

After the approval of our project, our group then decided to conduct a meeting to discussed about the things that we needed to comply for the next week. Since our problem is already validated, our group then focused on the planning and designing of our prototype. Due to our lack of ideas, we decided to go and research about the prototype. We also decided to do research individually in order for us to accumulate more ideas and alternatives.

To sum up the last weeks happenings, our group ffinally got the approval of our project. In line with the approval, we were tasked to submit the revised version (V.2.0) of our business model canvass. Last week was a week filled with joy and learnings for us and we.do hope that it continues to be that way until we will reach the the demo day. Thats all for last week and thank you for reading.

It really is well spent for us last week for we had accomplished a alot of things. During our last weeks meeting in our technopreneurship class, we had our project proposal where in each group presented the toplist of their possible projects. For the time of the proposal, each group did their utmost best in discussing and defending the project that they had chosen. Just like other groups, we the team Potato Chips also did our best in defending our proposal. Our project was called the Smart Feeding System. It is an automatic feeding system that contains a timer that allows the users or dog owners the convenience of feeding their pets especially when the users are busy with work and other things. This is also great since their dogs will be able to eat at the right time and thus keeping them from getting sick.

Just like other groups, our team called Potato Chips was also rained with questions from our instructor, Mr. Mabulay but with perseverance, faith and teamwork, we were able to overcome the struggles that our group faced. Due to lack og validation, Mr. Mabulay suggested us to conduct another survey involving those dog owners and he also did told us how and what to say during the survey

After hearing all of Sir Bronsons suggestions and concerns, we did decide to hold a meeting regarding on the areas that we needed to accomplished. Each member came up with different ideas and we narrowed it down to a more generalized one. To reduce the waste time and turn it to a productive one, our group decided to do the interviews individually where in each member is tasked to interview pet owners with maximum number of persons per member. The group thought that it would be a great help it having more information sources and also to help us improve our own self weaknesses.

After the proposal, we also did another workshop that was really considered very important for out project. It is called the Business Model Canvass workshop wherein each group will have their own BMC using their own proposed project's information. The BMC workshop is really a nice thing for us to expand more our knowledge.

This week is really important for us because we did not only learn new things in our technopreneurship class but we also did learned to work closely and as a team who works togethere towards a common vision. That would be all, Adios!

Entry 3

It was another week for us to learn new things and face new possibilities. In our technopreneurship class previously had a lecture and had learned about startup milestones.I also learned about being a inductive thinker rather than a deductive one. It helped me understood what it takes for a startup to be a success and obtain its vision. During the lecture, our instructor also informed us of the project proposal presentation for the next meeting as well as the must do things that is needed in the presenation. He also did notify us that before finalizing our project, we needed to interview people first so that well be able to assess more the project were doing.

After our technopreneurship class ended, our group planned a meeting to discussed the things that the group will be presenting for the next week. During the meeting,our group reviewed the requirements that our instructor told us to do. One of it is to conduct and interview regarding the project that we will be doing. The group conversed with people about the common household experiences/difficulties. After hearing about their troubles, the group proposed to solve their difficulties through creating a product and we asked them for suggestions that may help the project be more lucrative. Then, we asked them if ever the product is on the market, will they be willing to avail it.

As soon as were done with the interview, we assembled again to work out and deliberate all the information that we had gathered. Each one of us give out their ideas and thoughts regarding the project and the suggestions that interviewees gave us. We really considered to a great extent the suggestions of the interviewees because it was them whose gonna use the project were doing. After an hour or two our group finally wrap up all the deductions and finalizations.

At long last, we were able to come up with 3 possible proposals for our next meeting. We are looking forward with positive minds that one of the proposals be approved by our instructor duringthe next meeting. We may not have the certainty of what project that will be approved, I do believe that whatever it is, I know we can do it with certitude and cooperation as a team. I think that would be all, Adieu.

Entry 2

It has been a long week for us and it was really a tiring one. A fully packed schedule plus announced quizzes bombarded us along the way. It was indeed a busy week and facing those things were just one of the norms in our college life. In our technopreneurship group, we had face a problem regarding the previous topic that we had chosen. The project that we had chosen required some intense programming abilities in which none of the group members had.

The group decided to change the first proposed project due to its complexities. The group gathered to research together to think of a more uncomplicated and easy project that we as a group is capable of doing with our own strengths and potentials. We all went to the E-library to do some research and luckily we did find a more suitable project that fits our list of requirements and suggestions that we had gathered.

After spending our time in the library, we came up with a new set of list of possible project that we all chose. Subsequently, we did some discussion and deliberation regarding the finalization of our project.At last our group decided to choose the Smart Automation Controlled Switch. This is a type of project that would give comfort and convenience to people especially those who have disabilities. More specifically, this project is a voice and cellphone(text) controlled type wherein the user can turn on/off his/her appliances using his/her voice or through his/her phone.

In conclusion, our group finally had chosen the project which is the Smart Automation Controlled Switch. This project will be presented to our instructor for approval. However, our group is still considering the possibilities of some changes to the project since there is still a chance for it to be disapprove. Thus, the group decided to keep a note of those list of possible projects in case the first one will be disapproved.

Entry 1

In our Technopreneurship class last week, our instructor introduced to us everything about the subject information's and requirements. As for the subject requirements, we were told to from a group of four people that would create a project/product that can be marketable. Our group is composed of the Performer, Thinker, Idealist and the Artist. We are a variety of individuals with discrete strength and weaknesses. 

As a group, we had a brainstorming session to come up with ideas for our project. Each one of us collaboratively contributed through suggesting her/his own thoughts on what type of project should we be doing.We come up with a lot of ideas and suggestions and narrowed it down to the best options.

 We were able to accumulate a list of 8 possible choices. These are the electronic receipt app, electricity updater app, job hiring app, lock-door system, agriculture app,security system, voice-controlled switch, and the garbage collection system app. These choices are not yet in their final names instead we just use names related to their functions for it to be distinguished easily.

Of all the possible options that we had gathered, we had chosen the one that is considered as the best for us. Upon��the 8, we had chosen the garbage collection system app since the group considered it as an answer to the most common problem in our community. However, we still are considering on looking for new angles that may help us to come up with a more helpful and desirable project for this subject.
