First post! And first attempt at pretty much anything. I don’t think the sketch was terrible. The line work could, well, use some work. But hey, it’s my first one.
2020 is going to be the year I do something for myself and finally learn how to draw.
If anyone sees this/happens to follow whatever this blog ends up becoming, any tips or suggestions are always welcome. I am new, and I am not good, and I want to learn and get better.

This is my brand new side account! I am 26 years old, and I want to be able to draw. Honestly, the only reason I want to is to be able to draw the cute ideas I have in my head. The only way that’s going to happen is to actually start drawing, and I’ve made this blog to force encourage myself to draw more regularly (i.e., at all), and to actually post it somewhere. I’m doing the latter so that A) things don’t end up crumpled up in a garbage can anymore, and B) hopefully I can look back on this and chronicle my progress.
If anyone happens to follow this blog, just know that I am 100% open to any kind of constructive criticism/tips/advice. I’m doing my best here, but right now my best isn’t very good. It’s okay though, because hopefully it will get better.
I’m starting off on paper/pencil, but I will eventually move to digital. I have a Wacom tablet and photoshop, but I don’t know how to use either of those, and I wanted to try to learn some basics before jumping into more new things.
