Knowledge Is Power
Word is getting out that technology from Atlantis is continuing to trickle from the city into New York. New devices beyond the ones used in transportation. Rumors of machines used to switch bodies, disable super human abilities, or even biological weapons designed to keep our numbers in check. These stories are worrying. The best weapon we have now is our numbers. It’s time to use that in any way we can. Anyone who has information on such devices or technology should make contact with a member of the Resistance immediately. Time is of the essence if we are to combat the worse that the new rulers throw at us.

Event 30a: Rally Point
With the Original’s forces filing out of the city it is safer to get some much needed work done. Many government agents have entered our territory. These people were our allies, but our peace was a tentative one. To ensure the safety of our group and the security of our borders we ask that every agent in the area make themselves know to us.
Supplies and possible housing arrangements will be available at secure locations throughout the area. With winter looming we’d like to have a place for everyone before the end of the year. To do so, we need help from everyone in clearing old properties. We can not survive without cooperation.
Click below for OOC
For this event the Resistance will be clearing more properties in their territory for the new recruits. They also will be trying to get the name of every agent in the Upper East Side and determine if they are a threat, if they’ll be trouble, or if they are just trying to survive. The Resistance members will then share that information, so they know who to watch out for.
This event begins immediately. It has no set end time, so feel free to plot as you’d like. Since there are two different events happening at once please clarify where your character is in the tags. Have fun!

There are still safe places in the city. Death or slavery are not your only options. Come join the Resistance and ensure that your mind is your own to control. Don’t let these tyrants sweep humanity under the rug. Your survival is the best victory.

Event 27: Happy Holidays
The Resistance is leaving the city to spend Christmas at the Rokeby estate in Barrytown, NY. The unusually warm weather during the holiday offers a great opportunity to explore their new expansion property. The main house has fallen into a state of disrepair, but by spring the property will be converted to a larger farming operation. Members are asked to help where they can and enjoy their time away from the stressors of the city. There is a lot of work to be done, but Rokeby may offer a safe heaven for years to come.

If they are so willing to kill each other in the streets like dogs than who do you think is next? It’s time to wake up New York. You were not meant to be anyone’s slaves. Join together and fight back now that they are fighting among each other. It is your time to take back what was stolen from you. Turn your rage and frustration on their symbols of power. Tear down their monuments and remove your shackles. They are weak now and together we are strong. Join us in revolution.

We have always taken credit for our attacks. Look to each other, this was not us. We did not kill your teacher.

April & Ryan Wedding
April/Liz/Max: It was difficult enough sleeping in a tent for a week, but having to look your best for a wedding while doing it was another story. Max struggled into something decent for the occasion and headed over to the area where the ceremony was going to take place. Considering who it was getting married he was sure neither of them wanted to see him but he wasn't going to chance either of them feeling disrespected.
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth stood at the back, near the house as the people from the separate camps started to show up. She wasn't surprised at how well the place came together. Taking a flask from her dress pocket she took a sip, not waiting for the festivities to start.
Evan/Ryan: Evan knew they didn't belong there but it gave his agents an opportunity to see who they are fighting for. Also it made the Resistance seem more...human and relatable. "Always come prepared, don't you?" He said to Liz as he approached
Vanessa: Vanessa nervously fussed with her hair and her dress before joining the festivities, it had been a long time since she attended a wedding, she just hoped she didn't make a fool of herself and cry.
April/Liz/Max: Max looked over at the woman that had just joined them and gave her a nod.
April/Liz/Max: "Always." Elizabeth took another sip and held it out for him. "If we're going to be celebrating then I'm not waiting, especially since how little time we have before we head back."
Evan/Ryan: Evan shook his head. "I don't drink." He clasped his hands behind his back and looked over the crowd that was filing in. "They pulled this together nicely."
April/Liz/Max: "Don't drink?" Elizabeth was dumbfounded. "It's a bloody wedding. Come on."
Vanessa: Vanessa gave a friendly noddm to the agent before taking a seat. She had a wonderful vantage point for people watching.
Evan/Ryan: Evan chuckled. "I haven't had a drink since most of the people here were born."
April/Liz/Max: Max took a seat behind her since few people had shown up yet. "So which one of them did you know before all of this happened?"
April/Liz/Max: "Well then all the more reason." She tilted the flask toward him again. "Take a night off."
Vanessa: "I met both of them before all of this but I've known April the longest," Vanessa answered," what about you?" she asked curiously.
April/Liz/Max: "Um. Well I met Ryan once." Max cleared his throat.
Evan/Ryan: Evan looked at the flask and then at her. "Not really my thing. Sorry. But that only means more for you."
Vanessa: "Ryan's good people," Vanessa smiled
April/Liz/Max: "And that is absolutely no fun for me at all." Elizabeth sighed at the loss of a drinking partner that could actually keep up with her.
April/Liz/Max: "Yea." Max said quietly, ready to change the subject.
Vanessa: Vanessa motioned for Linnea to comr and sit by her," heya, haven't had any more run ins with fences have you?" she joked.
Vanessa: She turned back to Max," how did you end up working for the government? If you don't mind me asking?"
David/Linnea: David huffed, staring down at the cufflinks he'd just managed to push into the tiny pinholes on the wrists of his shirt. This wasn't his cup of tea. Scenes like weddings never were, but it was imperative he be here for April. They weren't on the best of terms, especially now that David was second guessing his move back to the family home along with the resistance. Quickly, he took a shot out of his flask before flinging his suit jacket over his arm.
David/Linnea: "No, not as of late, but those buggars are everywhere." Lin chuckled, smoothing out the slightly wrinkled dress that she had hastily packed before setting off on this excursion. "How've you been?" She asked, crossing her ankles as she took the seat next to Vanessa.
April/Liz/Max: Max shrugged his shoulders and leaned forward when the other woman joined them. "I was in college, was planning on becoming a cop and ended up getting recruited and pulled out here to New York."
Evan/Ryan: "I'm sure there will be plenty of people drinking with you." Evan looked over at Liz with a smirk. "Don't pout."
Vanessa: "A lot of Life is just chance isn't it?" Vanessa mused.
Vanessa: "Glad to hear it Lin, I know those tricky fences pop up out of now where but do steer clear of them," Vanessa teased lightly," Linnea this is Max, Max this is Linnea."
April/Liz/Max: "I'll drink all of them under the table." Liz chuckled.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan was fixing his tie on his way out when he almost crashed into David. "Whoa." His immediate reaction was to lift his hands and to stop whoever was in his way, but when he realized it was David he lowered them to his sides. "Oh, sorry."
David/Linnea: Lin stared down at Max, nodding at the man without saying much of a word. To be truthful, Lin might not have shown up if Vanessa wasn't going on this excursion. She'd been biding her time, hoping that she would have the opportunity to talk with the nurse once more. "I'll do my best, but sometimes those things are just so... wild. By the way, you look lovely this evening Vanessa."
David/Linnea: David shook his head, a smirk on his face. "How you feeling?" He questioned, doing his best to usher Ryan back in the room from which he came. The two of them weren't what David would call "pals" but this was a particularly special day. The kind of day that needed a heart to heart.
Vanessa: "Thank you," Vanessa answered," speaking of lovely- where in the world did you get that dress?" her palms got a little sweaty, being around Linnea had that effect on her.
April/Liz/Max: "Nice to meet you." Max smiled at the both of them.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan shrugged. "Fine. It's not my first wedding." It was the first time they went through a real ceremony in front of anyone important though. "Nice suit."
Evan/Ryan: Evan laughed. "You might do the same to me."
Vanessa: Vanessa smiled back at Max, he seemed uncomfortable, the least she could do was be friendly.
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth shook her head. "Not with your metabolism. You'd be just fine."
Evan/Ryan: "It is good being us." Evan nodded.
David/Linnea: Lin looked down, her clean fingernails dragging along the gauzy grey fabric. "It was something I bought while home in France many moons ago. I couldn't tell you where I bought it, but I can tell you it's survived the test of time." Lin's cheeks turned rosy, her shoulder brushing against Vanessa's.
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth took another drink from the flask. "Indeed. So you should join me."
David/Linnea: David rolled his eyes as he leaned against the door frame, his arms crossed over his chest. "No shit Sherlock. You think I wouldn't remember that you two got hitched in Vegas without saying a word to me?" He spat, dusting off his crisp white shirt. "I clean up pretty nicely."
Chris: Chris showed up at the wedding, feeling very uncomfortable in his suit. The last time he was in one was when he was stumbling through the streets after apparently having been missing and it brought up. As he adjusted his tie for the upteenth time, he sat down in an open chair.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan shook his head. "Luckily you don't own your sister or me, so it wasn't a problem."
Evan/Ryan: "Maybe after the ceremony," Evan added
Vanessa: "It really suits you, the french always did know how to make a dress," Vanessa assure her. She didn't know why she felt so awkward around the other woman-a drink to calm her nerves was starting to sound really good.
David/Linnea: "No, you're right. I don't own you or my sister, but you would think with the world crumbling at our fucking feet that someone would give a guy a heads up. Instead, you chose to be rash and cowardly and do shit behind my back." David's eyes were narrowed, his back stiff against the doorway as the glared at Ryan.
April/Liz/Max: Max rubbed the top of his head before leaning back in his chair and listening to the two women in front of him.
David/Linnea: "Would you like a drink?" Lin questioned, finding herself rather famished and rather nervous around Vanessa. It was strange, her attraction to this woman. Something magnetic that seemed to bring the two together whenever they were in the same vicinity. "Occasions like this always call for a cocktail or two."
Evan/Ryan: "Enjoy the party." Ryan didn't have the time to speak to a child and if he wanted to he'd have better conversation with his nieces. He turned and left to line up for his walk down the aisle.
Vanessa: "Cocktails sound good," Vanessa nodded, so did spending alone time with Lin.
David/Linnea: "That's what I'm talking about. Fucking coward." He hissed, his fingers icy as he glared at Ryan's back. "Always too chicken shit to say what you really feel to my face."
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth grinned. "Good, don't doubt my powers of persuasion."
Evan/Ryan: Once outside Ryan spotted Chris alone and thought he'd say hello. "Hey," he said smacking the shorter man on the back.
David/Linnea: "I'll be right back then..." Lin's words trailed off as she stared at the blonde, her smile prevalent as she forced herself from her seat. "Don't go anywhere." Her tone was lower this time, gravelly even as she turned toward the bar.
Chris: Once he felt someone pat his back he looked up and smiled at Ryan. "Hey," he replied, standing up to address him better. "You nervous?"
Evan/Ryan: Ryan shook his head. "Not about the wedding. The hard part is already done. Now if we can just get through this thing without something awful happening I'll be happy."
David/Linnea: David stared down at his hands, his chest heavy with the chill that had begun to seep through his bones. The words weren't kind, but Ryan had never seemed to give him the time of day and proving a point needed to be swift. Growling, he snatched his coat up from the floor before heading outside.
Evan/Ryan: Evan laughed. "I would never count you out."
Vanessa: "I won't,"Vanessa promised as Lin left her, she waited patiently for the brunette's return. The woman was a mystery and the blonde was fascinated.
April/Liz/Max: April was finishing up getting ready. She looked down at her nails and chuckled, they were a mess but she wasn't going to deny Ryan's nieces the chance to paint them. Everything should have been ready by now and she was just waiting on David to come tell her it was time to start.
David/Linnea: Lin arrived back, drinks in hand as she shimmied back into her seat. "I-I wasn't sure what you liked, but, ah, I hope vodka is okay?" the brunette questioned, her lower lip between her teeth.
Chris: "You should say things like that," Chris joked. "It's like you shouldn't say 'how could things get worse' and then it starts to downpour."
Vanessa: "Vodka's perfect," Vanessa insisted as she took her drink from the other woman," Thanks I needed this...weddings are always so tense and emotional."
David/Linnea: "You ready?" David called from the doorway as he straightened his suit jacket. He hadn't anticipated April looking so ethereal. She seemed to exude something very distant yet familiar. Something that reminded him of their mother. "I'm at a loss for words regarding your beauty...." He huffed, the tears in his eyes filling slowly.
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth patted him on the back. "Good. We should probably take a seat before they start."
April/Liz/Max: "Yea, let me put these shoes on." April stepped into the heels and then smoothed her dress out. "Don't you start." She pointed at him when she saw the look on his face. "This makeup isn't water proof."
Evan/Ryan: "I'm not as worried about the weather as I am the guest list." Ryan said looking around at all the strangers.
Chris: Chris took a gander around. "Where did all these people come from?"
David/Linnea: "I couldn't agree with you more." Linnea chuckled, taking a long swig from her glass. "I've never been good with the monumental moment things."
Vanessa: "Neither have I," Vanessa grinned," cheers," she offered before downing her own drink.
David/Linnea: David nodded his head, willing the tears back to their home. Quickly, he took in a breath in order to collect himself. He loved his sister, there was no doubt, but even as the youngest David felt an inherent need to protect his sister at all costs. It was ingrained into his DNA, as if it wasn't a choice. With a smile, David held out his arm.
Evan/Ryan: "Agents mostly." Ryan growled. It was not exactly the wedding he would have wanted but he'd kept his mouth shut for this long so a few more hours were fine. "Hey, thanks for coming. Melody too. I know we maybe aren't the closest but I'm glad you are here." A few friendly faces along with his family helped him not lose his mind over this ceremony.
April/Liz/Max: "Maybe I'm the one that should be asking you if you're ready." April chuckled and took his arm as they started heading for the back door. All the nerves she'd felt on the way up here were gone and she was just filled with excitement.
David/Linnea: Lin cleared her throat after another gulp. "So about that night...I'm sorry I left things so.... weird." she sighed, turning herself toward Vanessa, her knee grazing the woman's as she chatted her up.
David/Linnea: "I'm ready." David sighed, pressing a light kiss to his sister's cheek. "You really love this guy, huh?"
Vanessa: "It's ok, this whole situation is weird," Vanessa's cheeks turn a pale shade of pink when Linnea's knee grazed herown," I'm just glad you weren't seriously hurt."
April/Liz/Max: "I thought that was pretty obvious." April grinned and nudged him. "I just wish dad could be here. Not that you're a bad stand in."
David/Linnea: "I healed up just fine." As of now, Lin was better than fine, with a smidge of liquor and Vanessa by her side, the brunette was feeling more feisty by the second. "So, do you remember the.... other conversation we had? The one where I told you how gorgeous you were?"
Chris: Chris still didn't like the fact that they were working with agents and liked it less they were here. He still didn't trust the government after they locked him, Melody and every one of his friends in Quarantine. But he kept his mouth shut and smiled at Ryan. "You're most certainly welcome. You guys have helped me out a whole lot recently. It's the least I can do."
David/Linnea: "I miss him too." David said with a forlorn grin. But he's wishing you well. You and Ryan." they continued to walk closing in on their marker.
Vanessa: "I do...I was very flattered. I'm not that used to compliments." Vanessa answered before finishing off her drink.
David/Linnea: "Well..." Lin started, her fingertips barely touching Vanessa's knee as she crossed her own legs. "You also seemed like you might have been interested."
April/Liz/Max: "Yea maybe one day he'll actually get that chance." April rocked on her heels as she waited for everything to start.
David/Linnea: "Maybe..." David muttered as he patted his sister's hand. "Maybe one of these days."
Evan/Ryan: When Ryan's dad walked up to them he nodded and knew it was time to get in place. "You should go take a seat. The show is about to start." He turned and walked to the front of the group with his dad and brothers waiting for everyone to settle down.
Vanessa: "I am," Vanessa admitted before getting flustered and embarrassed," the thing is..the thing...I've never been with a woman before," she whispered.
Vanessa: Vanessa zipped it and turned all her attention up front. She had a feeling her and Lin would be picking up this conversation in the future though.
David/Linnea: Lin cleared her throat, her face hot as she craned her neck toward the back of the aisle in anticipation.
April/Liz/Max: April smiled and squeezed his arm. "Come on, let's go."
David/Linnea: With a large inhale, David started, his steps slow as if to mimic a song that wasn't playing. Something soft and sweet.
April/Liz/Max: April's smile only grew as they stepped out of the house and started making their way down the few rows of people.
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth stood when she saw April and cleared her throat to get everyone's attention to do the same.
David/Linnea: Lin grinned, her hand over her heart as she watched April make her way down the aisle.
David/Linnea: David brought her up to the end of the isle, his eyes only wavering from April to make sure that they stayed true to the path, his legs shaking when they arrived at the front of the altar.
Vanessa: Vanessa smiled ear to ear...moments of joy were a rare occurance this troubled world.
Chris: Chris stood and smiled when he saw April. Her and Melody did a good job with the dress.
April/Liz/Max: When they reached the end, April gave David a hug. "Now go sit down before you fall over." She whispered before turning her attention to Ryan.
David/Linnea: With a sigh of relief, David kissed his sister on the cheek before moving to his seat in the front row.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan was looking at his father when April stepped out of the house. His dad smiled and pointed down the aisle making Ryan turn to see his bride. She had never been more beautiful. The mess with her brother was still in the back of his mind so he stayed back until he took his seat and then walked over to April. "Wow," was all he could say.
April/Liz/Max: April smiled, feeling her cheeks flush slightly. "You clean up pretty well yourself." She took his hand and turned toward his dad. "Let's do this."
Evan/Ryan: ((So we are going to skip over the ceremony to speed things up))
Evan/Ryan: "And now by the power given to me by God and Ryan's mother, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Son, you can kiss your bride." It was the part he was waiting for but with the eyes of his family and her brother on him he was a little nervous. His arm snaked around her waist and pulled April into a kiss
Chris: Chris applauded loudly as Ryan kissed April, occassionally whistling for added effect.
Vanessa: Vanessa wiped a tear from her eye, she was so happy for the both of them.
Evan/Ryan: Evan clapped as the couple kissed encouraging the rest of his group to do the same.
April/Liz/Max: April put her arms around his neck and smiled against his lips as they kissed. "You call that a kiss?" She whispered before pulling back.
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth stood and clapped, glad that they finally got to share this with their families.
Evan/Ryan: "April," he warned with a smirk and pulled back taking her hand. "Later." He began to lead her back down the aisle.
Chris: Chris watched them in glee as they walked back down the aisle, happy to have witnessed this great union between those two, even if they were already technically married.
Vanessa: Vanessa lightly squeezed Lin's hand," I'm so excited for them."
April/Liz/Max: "You're no fun." April stopped once they got past everyone. "Now we really celebrate."
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth was glad to see there was still plenty of food and drinks left over after the week and grabbed herself a random bottle and went to join everyone as they began the after party.
April/Liz/Max: Max made his way from his seat and started walking toward the group of people gathering, keeping his distance from the couple for the time being.
Vanessa: Vanessa was in high spirits and ready to celebrate.
Michael/ had decided that it was probably wiser to leave them appreciate this moment with their family, and had politely taken a seat far from the front rows. If the ceremony was heart warming, he really hoped that the rest of the day would be just as delightful.
Rachel joined the chat 18 hours ago
Vanessa: "Lovely ceremomy wasn't it," Vanessa exclaimed as she approached Max
Chris: Chris got from his seat and began to approach the group. He wasn't sure how long he was going to stick around but he figured it would be in poor taste if he left too early.
April/Liz/Max: "Yea, it was nice." Max nodded is head in agreement. "Didn't really think I'd be attending a wedding ever again.
Vanessa: "I don't think any of us did," Vanessa responded," but I'm happy to have been proven wrong."
Chris: As the people gathered Chris spotted Elizabeth and approached her. "Any more water left?" he asked.
April/Liz/Max: "Plenty, if that's what you're drinking tonight." Elizabeth held the bottle of vodka she'd grabbed up with a grin.
April/Liz/Max: "Me too." Max chuckled. "I'm happy to have been allowed to join in really."
Evan/Ryan: "You look amazing." Ryan said leading April away from the group to have a moment to themselves.
April/Liz/Max: "Thank you." April smiled and leaned into him as the walked. "I didn't really know what I was getting with the dress but its more than I could have ever hoped for."
Evan/Ryan: "Melody did a good job." He wrapped an arm around her and stopped, pulling April close. "Are you happy?"
Vanessa: "I'm glad you could be here too," Vanessa smiled pleasantly
April/Liz/Max: April's arms wrapped around him, a smile on her face as she looked up. "I've never been happier."
April/Liz/Max: Max's eyebrow arched. "That so?"
Vanessa: "Yeah, everyone needs a little break once in awhile,"
Evan/Ryan: "Good." Ryan leaned down and kissed her deeply, much better than in front of the crowd.
Chris: "Vodka? I didn't know we had any of that left," he replied as he looked down and grabbed a bottle of water.
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth started laughing. "The happy couple ran across a large warehouse full of liquor. We'll be good for a long time."
April/Liz/Max: April's fingers clutched at the back of his neck as they kissed. "Where was that a few minutes ago?" She whispered, not fully pulling away from his lips.
Evan/Ryan: "I don't want your brother flipping out again." Ryan smiled. "And kissing on cue is not really my thing."
Chris: "Well now we can survive," he chuckled, grabbing a bottle of vodka as well. After twisting open the top he held it up and toasted, "To the happy couple."
April/Liz/Max: "Well I'm glad someone agrees." Max smiled and started looking at over all the food. "So are you looking forward to be going back to the city or would you rather stay out here?"
April/Liz/Max: "What do you mean?" April looked up at him curiously.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan pulled away and held her hand. "He tried to get in a fight with me right before the wedding. I just walked away." He sighed. "You need to remind him how dangerous he can be before I have to put him down." Ryan knew she needed her brother there but if he was honest he wished David was just not invited after trying to make the day all about him.
Vanessa: "I'll miss this but my place is in the city," she thought out loud.
April/Liz/Max: Liz held her own bottle up and tipped it Chris' direction. "I can drink to that."
Chris: Chris did drink to that, looking around at the group of people they stood with. "Despite these agents all over the place, this has actually turned out to be a nice gathering."
April/Liz/Max: April let out a long sigh. "If he keeps this up I'm going to have to kick him out of the house, make him find another one to crash in." David's attitude was going to start becoming a problem. She just wished she could get him to focus it on something else like the Originals.
April/Liz/Max: "Do any of us really have a place there anymore?" Max asked as he picked over the last of the fresh food.
April/Liz/Max: "Now that they know their place, they aren't so bad." Liz chuckled and took another sip before tapping on her temple with her finger. "Any time they try do something stupid, I fix it."
Evan/Ryan: "If he starts anything else tonight I'll knock him out with a little surge. I won't risk hurting my family because he is a brat and has a strange obsession with his sister." Ryan had avoided privileged people like David his whole life. Unfortunately April had bonded them together but if anything happened to any of their family because of his actions Ryan wouldn't hesitate.
Vanessa: "Yes, yes we do. Our place is defending people who can't defend themselves," Vanessa insisted, a little taken, surely a government agent should have some desire or obligation to protect the people.
Chris: "Still, I don't trust them." Chris had his own personal reasons for not trusting them and maybe, in time, if they proved themselves, maybe he would warm up to them. But that had yet to happen. "How do we know they won't try and stab us in the back the first chance they get?"
April/Liz/Max: "What's that supposed to mean?" April wasn't surprised that Ryan would knock him out and she didn't really disagree with it. These people were her family now too and he needed to learn to respect that.
April/Liz/Max: "Easier for you folks that have powers on your side." There were a few agents that did but over all Max didn't think it was enough for them to make a difference.
Evan/Ryan: "You know what it means. He hates me because I married you and wants to start shit because of it. On today, of all days, that's not going to happen."
Vanessa: " It doesn't matter if you have powers or not, every little bit makes a difference," Vanessa responded, she didn't have any powers and she was scared as hell but she was still willing to fight, she felt like that needed to be the mindset of more of her fellow hu.ans.
Vanessa: Humans
April/Liz/Max: Liz pursed her lips. "We don't and I don't trust them. But I do trust Evan. His goals are the same as ours and so long as the agents are following his orders, I think it will be alright."
April/Liz/Max: "I'm all he's got left Ryan. Just give him some time to come around. But if he keeps running his mouth tonight feel free to stop him."
Chris: "Well let's hope that he stays in control, then." Chris could see a coup happening if the rest of the agents got tired of his rule.
Evan/Ryan: "Don't worry." It would only take a little surge to knock him out, but Ryan really didn't want to use his ability in front of his family.
David/Linnea: Lin made her way from the restroom to the reception, grateful that she'd partook in a cocktail before the ceremony. She was never very good at coming onto women when she was sober, and with Vanessa looking ravishing in her dress that evening, Lin found herself more nervous than ever. "Sorry to keep you waiting." She said, her eyes focusing on the blonde. It took her a moment to look away, but she forced herself to nod at Max as well. "Did I miss anything good?"
Vanessa: "No worries," Vanessa beamed back at Lin, who was an vision- she would have waited all evening for her if she had too.
April/Liz/Max: "That's why I"m keeping a close eye on all of them." Liz grinned.
David/Linnea: David stood alone, a drink in his hand as he watched April and Ryan discussing something he was sure he didn't want to hear. He wasn't good at making friends these days, and his relationship with his sister had begun to suffer because of it. It didn't help that Ryan wasn't his favorite person either. But after his outburst earlier and after watching them exchange vows, David knew he owed it to the both of them to play nice and make up for the sake of everyone's sanity. He moved toward the two, forcing the bygones to stay bygones. "Feeling any different now that the two of you have had a 'real' wedding?" He asked, squeezing April's arm.
Chris: "Any one that you're paying more attention than others?" Chris asked, looking around at all of them.
April/Liz/Max: "Not yet, but the night is young." Max nodded to Lin when she joined them.
David/Linnea: "Can I get either of you a drink? I'm all for celebration after that ceremony. Just another reminder that there's no time like the present, is it not?" Lin chuckled, herhand gravitating toward a lock of Vanessa's blonde hair; her fingers itching to find out what it felt like.
April/Liz/Max: "Were your ears burning?" April smiled at David when he walked up to them. "If by different you mean insanely happy then yes."
Vanessa: "Another drink sounds good," Vanessa agreed, leaning toward. Lin and letting her tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan tried to keep from showing his annoyance when David interrupted him. "I'm happy she's happy." He pulled away from April and pushed his hands in his pockets, shrugging as he spoke.
David/Linnea: "Should have known I was the topic of conversation." David chuckled, tossing back the last of his drink. "Don't worry Ryan. Water under the bridge and all that, ya?" He beamed at the man, not bothering to pat him on the back or tell him 'job well done.' They were going to have to live with each other for what was going to be a long while by the looks of it. "I'm glad that you're happy. That the both of you are happy. With the state of the world these days, it's hard to find that shit anymore."
David/Linnea: It felt just as she thought it would. Soft, strong, much like the woman it belonged to. Quickly, Lin snapped the bartender over, her lips moving fast as she ordered more drinks. "Now, we were having a conversation earlier before we were so rudely interrupted by something I think was called... a wedding? Do you remember what we were discussing?"
Vanessa: Lin's touch was so warm and sweet, Vanessa almost lost her train of thought," I do," she nodded while her cheeks took on a rosey glow she didn't know what the brunette could possibly see in her,
April/Liz/Max: April crossed her arms and huffed. "That's good to hear."
Evan/Ryan: Ryan nodded. "Thanks for coming. I'll let you two talk." He excused himself and headed back toward his own family to relax.
David/Linnea: "Care to refresh my memory?" Lin questioned, her tone low as she shimmied her way in between Max and Vanessa, her hip grazing the both of them purposefully.
April/Liz/Max: Max arched his brow but he reached over and grabbed himself a drink.
David/Linnea: "You know... my goal isn't to make him uncomfortable at his own damn wedding, but for Pete's sake, April, who pouts like that? Marcus was pretty good at it, but Ryan surely gives him a run for his money." David sighed, watching as his brother in law drifted away.
April/Liz/Max: "Who picks a fight with his brother in law right before his wedding." April's eyes narrowed as she looked at David. "What the hell were you thinking Davey?"
Evan/Ryan: Evan had a drink in his hand and just as he was about to take a sip he noticed someone moving the woods. "Incoming," he warned Liz telepathically hoping not to alarm the family if they didn't need to. He moved through the crowd toward the edge of the clearing. If he could get away from the group he would be able to smell them out and possibly see who was coming.
April/Liz/Max: Elizabeth put her bottle down and grabbed Chris' arm. "See if you can detect any transmissions." She whispered so no one else would be able to hear them. For now she would keep it quiet, not wanting to alarm anyone else just yet.
Chris: Chris gazed at her skeptically but decided not to question it. "Alright." He took a deep breath and tuned into his ability, seeing if he could detect anything.
David/Linnea: "I wasn't attempting to pick a fight with him. I simply wanted to have a heart to heart with him. Let him know that even though we don't care for each other that we could agree about caring for you." David grumbled. "But instead of letting me get a word out edgewise, your husband's smart mouth got the best of him, so I told him how I fucking felt. Look... I get it. You see something in this guy that I still think is just your imagination, and I'm going to do my damndest to make sure you keep thinking that. One of us needs to see the good in people. I don't think he's good enough for you. He never will be, but at least he makes you happy. That's all I can ask for."
Evan/Ryan: " Porter, I need everyone's eyes on the woods but don't draw attention to yourself." Evan didn't care how Max felt about telepathy he wouldn't piss off that firestarter without cause.
Vanessa: "We were talking about our uh mutal interest," Vanessa answered, swallowing hard," I'm just not sure I could keep you entertained," she confessed even as she hoped max couldn't overhear.
April/Liz/Max: Max grumbled and pulled his attention away from the women, his eyes scanning the tree line.
David/Linnea: "Sweetheart. I'm pretty damn sure you could keep me invested. You can do just that for yourself can you not? I'm built like you, have the same parts. " Lin chuckled, taking another sip of her drink.
Chris: Chris shook his head as he got nothing but silence. "I've got nothing. Why? What's wrong?"
April/Liz/Max: "Nothing yet. Just keep checking." Liz patted his shoulder as she started making note of where everyone was.
Vanessa: "I never thought of it that way," Vanessa raised an eyebrow, she had a point there. Vanessa was about to say something suggestive when she noticed the tension around her," Lin somethings wrong," she frowned as she as she searched for the cause of the unease.
Chris: Chris gave her a nod and focused back on his ability. If something was up then Chris hoped he could find out what it was before it was too late.
April/Liz/Max: April rolled her eyes. "Why not? Please give me one good reason for you to think that. One that isn't superficial."
Evan/Ryan: Evan positioned his agents on the outer rim of the party trying to encircle the group. He wished he could get up higher but he'd have to use his ability to do that and it was too soon. Only then did he realize where they were set up, surrounded on all sides by woods, backing up to the house. "There surrounding us. " He sent to Liz as he moved forward to try and sniff them out.
April/Liz/Max: "Fucking hell." Elizabeth gritted her teeth. "Go tell the girls to get inside. I'll go talk to Ryan. We've got trouble." She left Chris and started moving toward Ryan, discreetly motioning for him to join her.
David/Linnea: "Oh, C'mon April. You don't think I know how you tick? If I tell you anything you won't ever let it go. You never do. Can't we just have a decent evening? It's your damn wedding and I shouldn't have said anything to Ryan. I'll apologize to him even if that makes you happy. It's not worth the fighting, the arguing and the inevitable shit storm from you if it escalates." David grabbed his sister's shoulders, letting his own sag. "Let's just enjoy this, alright?"
Chris: What? Oh shit. Chris didn't take long to move, finding Vanessa first with someone else he hadn't really met yet. "Guys - or gals, we need to get inside now. We've got trouble."
Evan/Ryan: Ryan spotted Liz motioning to him and furrowed his brow. He excused himself from talking with his father and went over to her. "What is it?"
David/Linnea: "I kn- wait, what?" Lin questioned as she started. Her eyes instantly caught sight of Liz, who seemed to be hustling toward the groom. "Alright. Let's go." Lin growled, grabbing Vanessa's hand as she slammed the glass down on the bar.
Chris: As soon as they were heading off Chris ran up to April who was speaking with her brother. "Hey April, hate to ruin this great sister-brother thing, but we need to get inside right now."
April/Liz/Max: "No, its too late for that." April shrugged his hands off her shoulders. "He's clearly upset. So just get out with it."
April/Liz/Max: "There's a group surrounding us. Your family needs to get inside. Evan has the agents mobilizing but I'm sorry, we need you, and April. And her brother if he can keep it together."
Vanessa: Vanessa grabbed Lin's hand and they headed inside, she cast a fornlorn look over her shoulder. She wanted to fight alongside Liz and Ryan but she would be more of a hinderance than an asset.
David/Linnea: David balked. "You want to know the truth? He's a coward. That's why." He hated spitting the words at April, but she would burn him alive if he didn't speak. No matter the words, no matter the hurt, it seemed April was always more concerned about the truth than her own feelings, or anyone elses for that matter. "Happy?"
Evan/Ryan: As the people behind him began to move back into the house Evan raised a hand and began twisting the trees and bushes into a wall around them. "Porter, help get everyone inside. Sakura, I need eyes in the sky." The brunette huffed and lifted off the ground despite her formal wear.
April/Liz/Max: "Why?" April turned to Chris. "And don't think this is over David."
Chris: "Liz told me to get all the girls inside. She say's we got trouble and that's all she told me," he replied, holding his hands up.
April/Liz/Max: Max started grabbing the people closest to him and pushed them toward the house, urging them to get inside as quick as they could.
Evan/Ryan: "I'm doubtful about her brother." He grumbled as Ryan immediately jumped into action. It took some convincing but his brothers and father joined the other back in the house. Mr. Johns began handing out weapons once inside and assigning people a window.
April/Liz/Max: "I'm not fucking going inside if there's trouble." She grabbed the both of them and pushed them toward the house. "Go help everyone else, make sure there's no stragglers." April nodded to Chris. "Think you can get some control of that ice?" She asked David as she started looking for the trouble.
David/Linnea: "What the hell is going on?" David asked, glaring at Chris.
Evan/Ryan: Evan held up his hands and cracked his neck once the wall of brush in front of him was completed. Then with a flick of his wrist he ripped a large tree up and set it down in front of the house for more protection, carefully avoiding the people fleeing.
David/Linnea: "I might be able to do a thing or two." David panted, already feeling the tips of his fingers iced over. "Just tell me what you need an I'll get it done."
Evan/Ryan: Ryan watched as one of the trees flew through the air and looked to the wall created by Evan between them and the woods. "April! Light up the wall!" He yelled to his bride as he used his surge to do the same just as the group moving in on them surged forward.
David/Linnea: "So help me if those assholes...."Lin let her words drift off as she cracked her knuckles. She was pacing, frustrated that their peace and quiet, their normalcy was ruined.
Chris: "Does it look like I know? I already told you what Liz told me! For a guy with ice powers, you really need to learn to chill." Chris gave April a nod. "Take care of yourself, then." He started heading back towards the house, still remaining outside in case they needed him as he made sure everyone else go to safety.
Vanessa: Vanessacouldn't take this she had to do something," Lin can you help me gather first aid supies I got a bad feeling were going to need them," she asked as she stared around looking for anything that could save a life, or be wielded as a weapon.
David/Linnea: "Kinda hard to chill when there are fucking villains crashing your sister's wedding, Chris." David grumbled. "And I'm not going anywhere. You're my sister and I have your back."
April/Liz/Max: April took a deep breath and concentrated on the wall as well as creating two balls of fire in her hands. She set the center on fire and hurdled the balls at the ends so she could quickly close the gaps.
Chris: Once Chris made sure everyone was inside he headed in as well, finding Ryan's dad handing out weapons. "Here, give me one of those," he told him, holding out his hand. He was handed a pistol and after chambering a round, he stood by the door and waited.
David/Linnea: "Absolutely. You know anything about this place? I'm sure the bathroom down the hall has a few things." Lin called as she headed toward the room.
Evan/Ryan: Evan picked up the tent but dropped it as the bullets began to fly. "Have I ever mentioned that I hate guns." He used his ability to stop as many as he could and sent them back to the woods. "We've given them the upper hand!" The forest aroudn them was great cover.
Chris: The moment he saw the wall go up in flames, he stepped back and saw others taking up arms. Why did it feel like they were in some war zone all of a sudden? "Hey!" he called to everyone, getting their attention, "Get on a window!" He may not be a soldier but even he knew they needed as much fire power as possible and they were all going to need fighting positions. He abandoned his post and began directing people to places to better defend the house.
Vanessa: "I don't Vanessa fretted as she ran upstairs to check for anything she might have missed.
David/Linnea: Lin dropped the supplies on the table, her eyes catching sight of the flames through the windows of the main hall. "Shit!" She screeched as she plucked the heels from her feet, her hands reaching for a rifle before she slid in next to whom she could only assume was the groom's father. Quickly, she positioned herself, her eyes scanning the flaming treeline urgently for signs of hostility.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan spotted Evan stopping the bullets and heard what he said. He turned and ran in the other direction, grabbing the metal poles of the tent as he went. "We need to get behind them! And flush them out!" He ran past April and her brother. "Keep their attention. Liz, grab more poles and come with me."
Vanessa: She a very basic first aid kit in an upstair burrow. She saw the wall of fire out of the window nearest her. She gasped in disbelief at everything she was witnessing before she scrambled back downstairs.
Vanessa: found
Chris: Chris could hear bullets flying and it was making him nervous. What the hell was going on out there?
April/Liz/Max: Liz furrowed her brow but followed after Ryan with the poles. April tried to keep the fire contained so it wouldn't start spreading. "Davey, how much power can you pull up?"
Vanessa: Vanessa threw what she could on the table before grabbing the only gun left and positioning herself at the window. She steadied her shaking hands enough to take aim.
David/Linnea: "I can make a pretty damn good igloo if that's what you're asking...I might be able to keep that fire in check too, but that's a stretch. A serious stretch." David called over the noise. The bullets were making him nervous, his hands blue.
Chris: Chris heard someone running up to a window and when he looked, he saw Vanessa, her hands shaking. "Hey," he called to her, motioning her to come to him."
April/Liz/Max: "What about cooling the air? Can you do that yet? Might be able to make it start snowing on them. That should confuse the hell out of them."
Evan/Ryan: Evan did his best to keep the bullets away from the everyone within their group but they were coming out of nowhere. He opened up his senses and began to locate the attackers. Grabbing a table, he jumped on and lifted it up. It was much more unstable than he would have liked. "Don't focus on one spot. They are moving around." He said to April as he quickly floated by.
David/Linnea: "Snow or hail?" David grinned. He'd tried in his room a few times, but nothing ever of this scale.
April/Liz/Max: Once Max was back inside he took up a weapon and a position at one of the windows.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan started planting metal bars in the ground as he ran circled behind their attackers. "If we herd them in one area I can fence them in." He said to Liz when she caught up with him.
April/Liz/Max: "Hail, if you can." April took a deep breath and started spreading the fire more. If they couldn't see in then hopefully they would give up. So long as she didn't get hit by a stray bullet.
April/Liz/Max: "Got it." Liz began heading in the other direction, planting the bars into the ground.
Vanessa: Vanessa joined Chris," What
Chris: "You okay?" he asked her, looking at her hands.
Vanessa: "Who the hell attacks a wedding," she shook her head," yeah I'm fine "
Evan/Ryan: Ryan shot a lightning bolt into the air. " Hi, honey. You look lovely, by the way. If you and the rest could just funnel everyone toward that beam of light in the sky it'd be great." He thought soften his telepathy with a compliment would keep her from being mad.
David/Linnea: "Alright." David closed his eyes, clearing his mind of everything except the air he was breathing. Slowly, he inhaled, willing the air that came from his lips to be frigid. It took a moment, but finally it came and with it a small pellet or two of hail from the sky. He continued, the hail growing bigger, and the surface it impacted seemed to spread. It was working, but after a moment, David realized that he was only capable producing half of what they truly needed. "April... he huffed, his eyes still closed. How to I grow this thing?"
Chris: "Bastards, that's who," he replied, reaching out gently and putting a hand over hers. "It's going to be okay. Stay close to me, alright?"
Vanessa: "Alright," she murmered even though she was still shaking," I'm afraid I'll hit the wrong person like this," she lammented as she tried to get herself under control.
Chris: "You won't. Wherever you point that gun, that's where the bullet's gonna go. So just don't point it at any of our guys, okay? And if you're not able to pull the trigger, let me know and I'll cover for you." He tried to offer her a reassuring smile, despite the nervousness he felt too.
April/Liz/Max: April smirked and and started pushing the fire back. "Davey listen to me." She had to keep her eyes in front of her but she needed his full attention. "Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Then focus your mind on the air, especially past the tree line, on the other side of the fire. Will it to get colder, feel it get colder. Put everything out of your mind, because you can do it, you just have to get past your own shit to do it. Do you understand? Make it freeze back there."
April/Liz/Max: Once Liz had put her last bar in the ground she began sending pushed out, hoping none of the damned agents fell victim to it. She willed them to start moving into the trap.
Vanessa: Vanessa nodded and positioned herself and her weapon. She scanned the area for anyone who shouldn't be there.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan saw the fire approach and took a deep breath but continued with the plan. He placed a hand on the back bar as the attackers began to flee toward him. He lit up the back row just as some of them reached it. They were immediately executed. Others raised their guns to him. One fired off a round before Ryan put him down. "They're humans."
Evan/Ryan: Evan pushed forward over the fire and dropped down into the cold air. He turned their bullets on them as some of the attackers tried to fire on him the rest turned to flee.
Vanessa: "Fuck," Vanessa spat as three assailants haf
Vanessa: had slipped through the dragnet she raised her weapon to fire when she was hit in the shoulder.
April/Liz/Max: "Bloody idiots." Liz tried to adjust the push to keep them from killing themselves on the fence.
Chris: "Shit!" Chris fired a few rounds at the three assailants before kneeling next to Vanessa. "You okay?" he asked, holding her wounded shoulder.
David/Linnea: David sucked in air, his teeth frozen as he pushed out the air in his lungs. The hails seemed to grow, the air around them frigid as the storm grew larger, finally passing over the treeline.
Vanessa: Vanessa'
David/Linnea: "I hate shooting people. Especially idiots." Lin growled, plucking off one or two as they closed in on the house. She heard Vanessa screech, her eyes wide as she ducked a sailing bullet.
Vanessa: "It hurts..a lot," Vanessa muttered as she began to go into shock.
Chris: "Hey, you're gonna be fine," he told her as he looked up and saw Lin staring at them. "Hey, get over here," he yelled at her while he kept firm pressure on the gunshot wound.
Vanessa: "Just make sure they don't get in here and...hurt these people..." she stammered as she raised her own hand to the wound.
Chris: "They won't," he reassured her, looking up to see the chaos outside.
April/Liz/Max: "I told you you could do it." April glanced over at David and gave him a nod of approval.
David/Linnea: "Fuck yes!" He hollered, his enthusiasm making the hail fall harder than before.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan built up his surge and connected each of the metal poles with an electric fence trapping the attackers. Every time they tried to shoot out he increased the intensity. "What now?"
Vanessa: Vanessa closed her eyes for a second, trying to remember what she should do next. How would she care for someone else in this situation.
Chris: "Hey, don't do that," he told Vanessa the moment she closed her eyes. "You need to stay awake." He looked up and around him, trying to find someone to come give him a hand. "Hey, you!" he pointed to someone, waving at them to come over. The person was over in an instant, kneeling next to both of them. "Get her somewhere safe and take care of her wound. She's got a single gunshot wound to the shoulder."
April/Liz/Max: "Is this all of them?" Liz called out, hoping that Evan would hear her.
Evan/Ryan: Evan opened up his senses and searched the woods. "Including the ones dead at the house, yes." The stink of blood was strong even from where he was.
April/Liz/Max: "Well boys, what do you want to do?" Liz shivered a little at the cold air rushing in. "Either kill them or Luke and I can make them forget and never come back here. I suppose that should be up to you Ryan."
Chris: Things seemed to settle down which let Chris breath out in relief as he moved to help the guy taking care of Vanessa. He abandoned his post and helped the guy move Vanessa to one of the back room where there were no windows. "Still with us, Vanessa?" he asked her as he took off his tie to use as a makeshift bandage.
Vanessa: "Yeah still here," she nodded," it needs to be elevated....pressure bandage.....don't try to remove..." her thinking was foggy but at least she was still concious.
David/Linnea: "I'll take care of it, Chris." Lin huffed, waiting impatiently for him to wrap the tie over Vanessa's shoulder. Gently, Lin hoisted the woman from the floor, gingerly doing her best to get the woman upright. "Do we need to try and get this bullet out of your arm, Love?" She questioned, her voice full of concern.
Evan/Ryan: "Kill them." Ryan didn't have to think twice. Their attackers began to scream and beg as he flexed his hand. Bolts jumped from the metal rods electrocuting everyone within the boundary.
Chris: "Alright, just keep talking to me, Nessy," he told her as lifted her shoulders up just a bit to wrap his tie around her shoulder. He looked at the guy helping and said, "Go find a pillow or something. I got this."
Evan/Ryan: Evan stayed back keep any of the bullets from passing through Ryan's electric fence as he finished them off.
David/Linnea: David heard the screams from the woods, the ice in the air making this hairs on his arms prickle.
Vanessa: "No," Vanessa protested as she looked up at Lin," it might be corking a hole in an artery," she explained before wincing in pain," Chris I'm so scared..."
Evan/Ryan: Evan felt the cold up his back and turned to see the fire and ice. "I think that'll be all. Your husband is cleaning up the mess."
April/Liz/Max: Liz wrinkled her nose but wasn't surprised at all by Ryan's decision. "Evan, you think your agents can get this cleaned up? The last thing we need are the children seeing this."
David/Linnea: "Then why the hell did you tell me to get her out of here?" Lin hissed, trying her best to keep her hair out of her face. Shaking her head, she looked down at the blonde. "I'll be back with a couple of pillows.
April/Liz/Max: April pulled the fire back, trying to stop it best she could. "Shift your focus on the fire, help me get it out. It's over."
Chris: "Hey, there's no need to be scared," he reassured her as he took her hand. "We're not going to take it out. We're just going to stop the bleeding and elevate it, okay? You'll be fine."
Vanessa: Vanessa nodded. How could a day that started out so wonderful end like this?
David/Linnea: David took in another breath, his focus softer now, allowing the hail to melt before hitting the ground. He could sense when it hit the grass, his mind clear as he forced the matter to freeze as it reached the fiery soil. Instantly he began hearing the hiss, the smell of dampened soil starting to penetrate his senses as he forced more slush to fall.
David/Linnea: "I have pillows and a doctor." Lin called, pulling Ryan's brother in tow behind her. "Vanessa, he's going to take damn good care of you. I promise. I've threatened his life three times in the past thirty seconds." Lin patted the man on the back as he watched him kneel down next to the woman. "The name's Kevin. Let's get you comfortable and keep you awake." Quickly the doctor moved, keeping the tie in place as he added more pressure to the wound, his hands strong and nimble as he checked her pulse.
Evan/Ryan: Ryan snuffed out his surge once he was sure everyone was dead and took a breath. He felt the warm trickle of blood run down his arm and quickly pulled off his jacket. "I was shot." In the moment he hadn't even noticed the pain through his adrenaline high. "Liz, I've been shot."
April/Liz/Max: April dropped her hands once the fire was out. "Not bad little brother." There was steam rising from the charred remains of the tree line and she could see flashes from what she knew what Ryan's surge deeper in the woods.
Vanessa: "Thank you...thank you," Vanessa swallowed as the doctor began his work.
Chris: Chris moved to allow the doctor to take care of Vanessa. As he moved back he looked at the blood on his hands and felt them start to shake. He promised Vanessa he wouldn't let anything happen to her and yet she got shot. With shaky hands he cleared the gun and sat it down as he leant against the wall, breathing deeply to try and calm himself.
April/Liz/Max: Liz hurried over to him and took a look. "Well I don't think you're in too much danger. Let's get you back though." She went ahead and ripped the bottom of his sleeve off though and tied it around his upper arm before moving back toward the house.
Evan/Ryan: "I can't believe I got shot at my own wedding." Ryan huffed not really phased by it. He knew it would be fine and the pain hadn't started yet.
David/Linnea: "Couldn't have done it without you." David quipped, his hand in the air.
Vanessa: The doctor made sure that the bleeding had stopped and she was stable before he joined Chris and Lin in the hall," Your friend was hit in her brachial nerve but she should be fine as long as she's kept warm and quiet.
Chris: As the doctor told them what the damage was, he nodded. "Thanks," he said softly as he felt himself relax.
April/Liz/Max: "You're damn right you couldn't have." April shook her head but raised her hand to high five him anyway, steam quickly spouting from their hands. She quickly pulled back. "Fuck, you're freezing."
Vanessa: The doctor lightly patted Chris on the shoulder before getting word about his brother, he immediately ran through to attend to him.
David/Linnea: David cackled, watching his hand warm as the steam rolled off of it. "Thanks for warming me up."
April/Liz/Max: "Never a dull moment." Elizabeth chuckled. "Let's get you patched up."
Vanessa: Vanessa was frustrated and angry with herself, she had done a piss poor job of defending the house. Disgusted with herself she got up to see how everyone else had faired. "Everyone alright?" she called as she tentatively made her way iinto the hallway.
Evan/Ryan: "I'd like to keep my parents from finding out about it. Can we not go to the house?" Ryan asked as they started walking back.
April/Liz/Max: "We can head to one of the camp sites if you want instead. But I don't know how many supplies for a gun shot there are at either."
Evan/Ryan: "That Evan can pull it out, you can push me to not move and April can stop the bleeding with her heart." As he started to settle the pain began and his arm started to throb.
April/Liz/Max: Liz nodded. "Then tell her to meet us over at the camp."
Evan/Ryan: "Porter, keep everyone in the house for now and then get your ass out here. We have bodies to move." Evan smirked knowing how much Max would hate that order and followed Liz and Ryan back to their camp. "No need. I can take care of that."
April/Liz/Max: April shook her head. "Go see if everyone is alright."
April/Liz/Max: Max grumbled and headed back to where everyone else was. "They want everyone to stay inside. Make sure that the threat has passed. I'm going to help them patrol, so keep your heads down."

Fire Tornado
Liam: After his first interaction with an Original went horribly wrong Liam was not in the mood to be out looking for anything. He hadn't received much sympathy from the others, and he didn't expect any but a night off would be nice. He pushed through the crowd trying to find the person he was looking for.
April: April had taken off for the night and headed to one of the areas she knew would be filled with people. She was on the look out for potential buyers for the black market and what better place to find them than when they were already trying to barter.
Zach: As Zach slipped through the crowd, hunch-shouldered to pass easier, he stole quick glances at faces searching for one that was familiar. He wasn't sure how much he trusted the idea that his old company EMT was spending time in the black market but it gave him something to look for and that mattered more than the results. When he did recognize someone--fleetingly--it took him aback a moment. "Hey, hold up a second?"
Liam: Liam continued until he saw his target. Grabbing the man by the collar he hoisted him to his feet. "I heard you have something that we need." When the man in front of him looked confused and began to look around Liam punched him hard in the stomach. "Did I stutter?"
April: April stopped when she heard the voice, unsure of who they were talking to but when she turned around she recognized the face. "You need something?"
Zach: "More like wondering if you'd seen someone around here." Zach pulled a folded photo from his pocket of him and another man, shorter and a decade or so older. "You okay?" He cocked his head, a pained sound flirting on the edge of his hearing. "You hear that?"
Liam: With his temper already short he began to pull the man in hand toward the exit. When a few others stepped in front of him Liam pulled out his gun and pointed it right in their faces. "Step aside."
April: April looked down at the photo and shook her head. "No, I" she stopped before finishing her sentence. "No, but I heard that. Sounds like someone is causing problems." She started looking around for the people.
Zach: "Oh good," Zach drawled but slid the photo back into his pocket and craned his neck to see around the crowd. "Looks like the problem's up ahead." He nodded in the direction where a group of people seemed to be hurrying away from. Glancing back at April, he raised an eyebrow.
Liam: When they saw the gun the people in front of him quickly stepped aside. Liam kicked the door open and pulled his target along with him.
April: "Zach, right?" April remembered meeting him before, his face sticking out because of his sister. "You want to accompany me to see just what the hell is going on?"
Zach: "Good memory. And you're April, yeah?" Zach could usually match names to faces and hers was uncommon enough to stick out. "Yeah, pretty much." He shrugged. His whole life had been spent running into fires, literal and metaphoric. Seemed like a decent enough idea to stick to it. Stepping in front, he shouldered his way through the crowd, using his size to clear the way a little.
Liam: Liam was going mad from the stress that was his life now. Obviously, he was expendable to both his superiors and everyone else. Knocking his target over the head with the butt of his gun, he stopped before throwing the man over his shoulder to look back. He saw April coming toward him and stopped. "What the hell are you doing here?"
April: April followed behind Zach but came around him once they were out of the crowd. When she saw Liam she smirked. "I could ask you the same thing. You're back to yourself I see. Fucking people over." She looked back at Zach. "He's FMID."
Zach: Glancing between Rachel and the stranger, Zach almost stepped back since it was clear they had history. That all changed in a heartbeat as the anger from the shooting and everything that had followed crystalized. "Is that so." His voice sounded remote to his own ears, a cool breeze starting to tickle his fingertips. He clenched his jaw; hold together, Teer. "So, what does bring an agent here? More civilans to shoot?"
Liam: "Just doing my job." He pointed to Zach. "Abandoned lightning hands and trade him in for a newer model?"
April: "A girl can have friends in many places." April clenched her fists together as she stared at Liam. "And this time he's not here to stop me from boiling you from the inside out."
Zach: "I've seen your job. Wasn't impressed." Zach's fingers flared and curled into a fist at his side. He could almost feel the air in his loose grip. Just give me a reason, he prayed, even a small one would do.
Liam: "Been there, done that, sugar." The feeling of the fire wouldn't be something he'd forget for the rest of his life. "On your way, I have a deadline."
April: "Do you really think I care about your deadline?' April laughed. "Let him go."
Zach: Zach glanced at the man being held. "Before killing him would be nice."
Liam: "I have no intention on killing him." The people he worked for, that was a different matter. "Just back off. This is none of your concern."
April: "You pulling someone out of a camp where he's probably trying to take refuge is exactly my concern." April felt her nails digging into her palms. "You're not going anywhere with him. You're not taking anyone ever again."
Zach: Zach stepped to the side slightly, giving himself and April more room to work and Liam less opportunity to bolt. Feet braced shoulder width apart, he smiled. "I think you're just going to have to miss your deadline."
Liam: Liam turned his gun on the two of them. "Now I know for certain that you can't dodge this." He said pointing it at April. "Turn around and walk away."
April: "You know what your problem is Liam? You have no friends." April stood her ground. "Zach and I might not be on the same side of things but we're one in the same. You experimented on our siblings, you hurt our families and you tried to lock us all up. And in the end you're responsible for what we've become." The anger coursing through her out weighed any fear she might have at being held at gun point, but she had hope that Zach would keep any bullets from hitting her. "I'm not going anywhere."
Zach: Zach's heart his throat at the sight of the gun. Everything else became white noise. Last time, last time, last time--last time he hadn't had his powers. The wind coiled around his fingers, growing stronger and tighter, winding its way between them. "Put the gun down. You won't get asked a second time." Zach looked over at April; deep breath, all his fear and his rage narrowed to a tight focus.
Liam: Liam's eyes grew wide as he felt the wind pick up. "What the fuck?" He turned the gun toward the other and pulled the trigger but it didn't go the direction he had intended.
April: April watched as the wind picked up the bullet and diverted it into the wall. "I warned you Liam." Flames exploded from her fingertips as she opened her hands up. "But you're too fucking stupid to listen."
Zach: Zach threw his hand out and the winds circled back, forming a wall between them and Liam--or rather, any more of Liam's bullets. "I can use my winds to keep the fire contained from the rest of the market." He hoped. In theory, it should work.
Liam: Liam began to back up slowly. He tripped over the body of the unconscious man behind him barely able to keep his footing. "Not the fire, not again."
April: April took a deep breath and concentrated on Liam. "Try and surround just him, I don't want that man getting hurt."
Zach: Zach nodded and narrowed his focus. Sectioning Liam off from his victim was harder than the wall had been--they were so much closer, but Zach narrowed the winds into a perpetual funnel around only Liam. Gritting his teeth, he pushed them faster, stronger until they were a gale compressed into a cyclone.
Liam: Liam reached out for the body of his target as he heard her words but a barrier was up before he could act. He was entirely alone in the wind tunnel zach creating. It became difficult to breath as he gasped for air.
April: April walked as close as she dared and looked back at Zach once more before sending a flame toward the funnel.
Zach: Zach nodded, once, and watched the fire leap from her. His training--far past and more recent--collided and a small branch of the air brushed the fire, fed it. Closing his hand into a fist, he though of Liam--only Liam--and turned his focus to narrowing the funnel from a barrier to a point on a single person, as close to it as possible.
Liam: Liam couldn't run, couldn't move. He was trapped. As the flames began to circle him even his screams couldn't penetrate the barrier around him. The pain was even worse than what the Original had put him through. This was real. This was it. He was being burned alive.
April: April could end it for him quickly, she knew deep down she could do what she'd promised him but everything that had happened to Marcus, to her, to Ryan, to everyone came bubbling to the surface. She backed away and let him suffer more.
Zach: Zach's chest ached, hollow and gaping with a cold burn that fanned from where he'd been shot. The fires became his entire world and became the purpose of the winds. The gale dragged its fingers through the flames, lifted them up and brought them down again. There was no separation, air and fire existed in equal measure inside a burning tornado.
Liam: Finally Liam looked up at the sky. He was unable to breath but the pain was what ended the struggle for him. His skin dripped off his body, liquefying. The last thing he saw was the bright blue sky of the beautiful spring day before slumping over, passing out from the pain before it ended his life.
April: The stench was starting to become overwhelming as April looked back over at Zach. "I think its over."
Zach: Taking a deep breath, Zach turned the winds inwards and down. After a few moments, the fires started to die. He rubbed his hands across his face--no soot, how about that. "Fuck," he said softly. He tilted his head back and squeezed his eyes shut. "Fuck."
April: "Are you ok?" She had no idea if Zach had taken part in any deaths before but from the looks of it April didn't think so. The first was always the most difficult.
Zach: "Yeah." Zach shook his head, tucking his hands into his pockets just in case they started to shake. "You?"
April: April nodded her head and went to check on the man Liam had knocked out. "I've been wanting to do that for weeks now."
Zach: "Him specifically or an agent in general?" Zach looked around and grabbed a cloth to drape over what was left of Liam. "Wow, this brings back all sorts of memories."
April: "Him. He pissed me off." April pulled the man up and leaned him against the wall. "I think he's going to be alright.
Zach: "Remind me to stay away from you in a fight." Zach smiled, it was thin and not particularly happy, but he managed it and nodded. "I could bring him back to the clinic, but if he doesn't have a chip I wouldn't want to risk it."
April: "Its too bad you're hanging out with those losers. We make a good team." April stood back up and brushed her hands off. "No. It would probably be better if we helped him." She pressed the radio button on her bracelet and waited for Ryan to answer. "You can head out if you want. Or you can stick around until Ryan gets here."
Zach: "Yeah well, you ever want an encore with another agent, I'm pretty sure we can make that happen." Zach nodded; he'd expected as much. "If it won't put the two of you in more danger, I'd like to stick around. Not that you need the help, but just in case."
April: "I think we'll be ok for now. We did the Originals a favor." She knew that wouldn't cover what they had done the night of the gala but she didn't want to alarm Zach. When she heard him come through on the bracelet, April told Ryan where they were and a little bit about what had happened so he would get there quickly.
Ryan: Ryan followed April's page and covered his nose when he arrived. "Are you okay?" He wrapped his arms around April and looked over at Zach then down at what was left.
Zach: Zach nodded at Ryan. "Been a long time. Glad you're look better." Following his gaze, Zach rolled his shoulders. "You guys good?"
April: April pulled back from Ryan and looked down at what was left of Liam. "I'm fine."
Ryan: Ryan extended his hand to Zach. "Been good." He pulled Zach into a hug. "It's great to see you in one piece."
Zach: Zach leaned into the hug, bring his hand up to squeeze Ryan's shoulder before stepping back. "You too. At least now I know I don't have to worry about your dumb ass." Looking at April, he grinned a little.
April: April chuckled and crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm usually nice, I swear."
Ryan: Ryan pulled away. "Nope. She's always a little angry. Like the Hulk." He moved over to check on the man propped against the wall. "You're alright." He said looking at the slight head wound. "I think he needs to sit down." Ryan helped the man back inside to a bench.
Zach: "Well, having to wrangle you, I can see why." Zach looked back at the remains and then towards Ryan and the injured man. "I'd keep him warm, if you can between here and wherever he's going." He nodded toward Liam. "Anything we need to do with him?"
April: "I'd say leave him but I don't think its a good idea considering how many people are around here." She furrowed her brow. "But I don't really know what to do with mister extra crispy."
Ryan: Ryan helped the man to a seat and kept him talking. "Toss him in Central Park. There are animals roaming there." He sent straight to April's mind.
Zach: "I'd offer to take him with me, but explaining the crispiness might be an issue." Zach rubbed the back of his neck.
April: "I think we can handle it." She glared at Ryan before turning to Zach and smiling. "Thanks for..." she paused before mentioning the gun being pointed at her head, "well you know. If you ever have need for a barbecue, you know who to call."
Ryan: "We'll have Vanessa look at this one. And take the crispy critter to a special place."
Zach: "All right. It was good seeing you two--even under the circumstances. And if you need cheap AC, y'know where to find me." Half-smiling, Zach nodded to both of them before he headed off in the direction of the far exit.

Two people lost their lives yesterday but they don’t want you to know that. An Original that went by Kieran was killed after attacking a group trying to gather valuable supplies. They’re not invincible, they’re not immortal. Take a good look at your new masters, they’re trying to cover up her death with lies.

The Raid
April/Liz: Elizabeth pulled her coat on and slung her bag over her shoulder. She looked around the room at their ragtag group and hoped that their plan would work. A lot was riding on it, including their possible alliance with the government. But she was going to take that one step at a time until they earned trust. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, let's get to work."
Ryan/Liam: Ryan had his eyes glued on the agent across from him. He didn't like this at all. The FMID had starved, beaten and experimented on him. He would have never made it out if it weren't for the intervention on his friends. Now they had to work together and all he could think was pushing the agent out in front of one of those trucks.
Isaac: Isaac was walking in silence holding with both hands his backpack. Part of him was insecure: see a government agent with them made remember somebody he tried to forget, Florence and her curse. But also, he can't deny he wanted action and if he has to pact with the devil for steal power from the Originals, will be a minor evil after all.
April/Liz: April stood next to Ryan and had to take long, deep breaths in order to control her emotions. She didn't trust the agents they were planning on working with and she knew there was nothing any of them could ever do to gain it. She had been through too much, lost too many people because of them. Taking his hand, she gave it a reassuring squeeze before whispering. "We'll get through this."
Ryan/Liam: Liam didn't like the stink eye that he was being given especially from the big blonde monkey but there really wasn't any other choice. He followed behind the rest pulling out his gun and letting the mag drop to make sure it was loaded. "Where are we waiting for them?" He knew the answer but wanted to see who spoke up first.
Isaac: Isaac thought how that agent would feel between them, knowing the desire what Ryan -and well, he too- has to see all the agents dead... Maybe, after all. The alliance was something what can be undone in the end. Was he nervous between them? Should be. That thought made him smile as he was seeing Liam, expecting other person answer: he wasn't for a chit chat with a man who few months ago wanted them dead or in a cell.
April/Liz: "What are you smiling about?" Elizabeth asked Isaac before turning her attention on the agent. "You know bloody well what the plan is, I'm not going repeat myself for your sake if you weren't paying attention." She nodded to the others and headed out of the door.
Ryan/Liam: Ryan stayed behind letting everyone walk out in front of him then stepping in front of Liam and closing the door in his face. "One wrong move and you're are getting a lightning bolt shoved up your ass." He said directly into Liam's head.
Ryan/Liam: Liam groaned when the blonde monkey tried to shut the door on him. "Thanks." He answered before hearing the words in his head. "Hey! Stay the fuck out of there!" He clicked the magazine back into his gun and pointed toward Ryan. "Keep your mind on what we are doing and out of mine, you freak."
Isaac: Liz was being... Liz. He didn't bother to answer or say something, she won't change and he knew what she has to do. But in the moment when he saw Liam talking with... the air, he chuckled. "Sorry, but you can't say this isn't funny." Of course Liz doesn't share his sense of humor. "It's clear boss, I will be quiet."
April/Liz: April had been heading out with the group until she heard Liam. "I swear to God." She turned around, ready to grab him by the throat. "If you don't keep you fucking mouth shut I will set your blood on fire."
Ryan/Liam: Ryan grabbed April by the waist and turned her in the direction they were going. "Not yet killer." Liam laughed and shook his head as their little group was already falling apart.
April/Liz: "Bloody hell." Liz pinched the bridge of her nose and sent out a push to everyone that couldn't block her. Forcing them to behave until they were in position. "Stop acting like a bunch of children."
Isaac: Was Elizabeth conscious about what really means for them have an agent so close? If Isaac wanted something was see that man on fire, even with the nasty smell, but they weren't stupid to do that right now. Ryan can control April... for a time. And in a moment he felt unprotected, even with the stunning gun he maid. He just made a side and waited they resolve their problems. If Liam finished dead fine for Isaac, other problem resolved. Why was he there?
April/Liz: April didn't feel any change in her emotions after Ryan urged her forward and away from the agent but she did feel as if they were less important. "Sorry." She muttered as she focused back on their mission.
April/Liz: Elizabeth brought them as close as they could get to the convoy area without being detected by other possible Originals in the area. "We need to split up and cover both sides of the street." She placed her hand on Isaac's shoulder. "Boy genius here is coming with me."
vanessa: Vanessa followed along to the convoy area in silence, she had never been involved in anything like this, she wasn't sure what to make of any of this- she was a nurse not a soldier. That didn't mean she hadn't come prepared though, she wore kevlar under her sweater
Isaac: Even when Isaac thought the last thing was really funny, also Elizabeth was right and was time to be serious. Everything has to be perfect. "Yes ma'am." He said but before he gently squeezed Vanessa's hand. She wasn't a soldier but if something is wrong, she is the only who can really help. Then he nodded to Elizabeth, ready to receive orders.
vanessa: Vanessa returned the gentle squeeze, she swallowed down her nervousness and awaited her orders.
Ryan /Liam: Ryan wanted to keep an eye on the agent and at the same time wouldn't go too far from April. "Vanessa, April and jackass with me on the other side." He started walking toward a spot that would conceal the group for as long as possible. "Will this work?" He patted the side of the dumpster and looked over at April.
Ryan /Liam: Liam tilted his head to the side. "Can't one of you just toss it in front of the cars?"
vanessa: Vanessa nodded and joined Ryan and April, she didn't recognized the man Ryan identified as jackass but she trusted him to keep the stranger in hand.
April/Liz: Elizabeth rolled her eyes. "A bit uneven there." But she pulled Isaac off to the other side of the road, turning into an alley that would hopefully leave them protected.
April/Liz: April nodded. "Done it before." She took off her bag so it wouldn't be in the way and handed it to Vanessa. "Gotta be easier than that damn truck."
Isaac: Isaac was seeing if the distance was close enough for the device he built. He wasn't be so close after all, but he knew he needed to be really effective in the right moment. He followed Elizabeth in silence.
vanessa: Vanessa took the bag and threw it crossways over her shoulder" If everything works out like it should this won't be hard at all." she crossed her fingers and held her breath for a moment.
Ryan /Liam: Ryan moved to the end of the dumpster. "Alright once the trucks get close April will light this up and you two and I will push it out in front of them. Vanessa keep your head down. Things will be happening fast after that." He looked over at Liam. "And make sure you are shooting at the right people."
Ryan /Liam: Liam glared back at Ryan. "I don't see what could go wrong." He took his position and waited.
April/Liz: Elizabeth kept her attention focused on their surroundings. "We need to keep cover here and once they roll cause the distraction we can move in and you can zap them. What kind of range does that thing have?"
Isaac: "I wasn't sure what build because I can do something big but that can bring attention what we don't want. So, is for only 10 yards... maybe 12." Isaac answered to Elizabeth. He tried to do what he believed was right, but he never did something like that before.
April/Liz: April climbed up to check what was in the dumpster to get a better gauge on how much strength to put behind her ability. "It'll be smooth sailing as long as you do your part and don't fuck up." She said to Liam as she jumped back down.
vanessa: "Will do," Vanessa answered as she shifted the weight of the bag. She took note of routes they
vanessa: might need if they had to make a hastey retreat. God she hoped they would have to use them or the emergency medical supplies in the pouch at her side.
April/Liz: Elizabeth nodded her head. "It'll be fine, just make sure its ready to go once they're in position."
vanessa: She shifted from foot to foot nervously as everyone fell in position. An eerie quiet settled over everything.
Ryan /Liam: Ryan waited in silence until he heard the motors turning down the road. He turned toward April and nodded. "Get ready."
April/Liz: Elizabeth nudged Isaac when she heard the trucks. "Get that gadget of yours ready."
April/Liz: April closed her eyes in order to focus, building the fire inside of her more and more so she could release it as soon as they were ready. "Just tell me when."
Ryan /Liam: "Just fucking do it." Liam yelled as he put his shoulder to the dumpster.
Vanessa: Vanessa positioned herself against the dumpster.she side eyed the agent.who was he to give orders?
April/Liz: April's eyes shot open and she released all of the pent up energy at the dumpster. "Fire in the hole!" She tried to keep it as controlled as possible so they wouldn't get burned.
Ryan /Liam: "Push!" Ryan called as he shoved the dumpster out into the street in front of the oncoming vehicles. "Everyone step back!" He built his charge.
Vanessa: Vanessa backed away as she watched the flaming dumpster slide into the middleof the street. The sound of motors grew closer, whatever was going to happen was going to happen now.
Isaac: In the moment Isaac listened Elizabeth's order, he activated the device what interfered with the convoy. He wasn't sure what happened with all because the fire on the big distance.
April/Liz: Elizabeth watched as the dumpster rolled out into the street. "Go now." She tried to tug Isaac along with her to bring him closer to the cars without damaging the jammer.
Ryan /Liam: Liam pulled out his gun. When the trucks stopped and the lights went off her drew it on one of the drivers. "Get out!" The rest of the people in the other trucks poured out of the vehicles and rushed toward their group. Liam got a shot off before he was tossed through the air.
April/Liz: April dodged out of the way when Liam almost flew into her. On instinct she set the closest person's clothes on fire and started to pull the flames across towards the next person.
Vanessa: Vanessa was accosted by a very large angry man, she clawed and scratched his face beforehe threw her to the ground.
Ryan /Liam: Ryan sent his charge to the drivers rushing toward the trucks. He climbed up to the roof getting the high ground. After spotting Vanessa struggling with a man he sent a charge to take him down.
Vanessa: The man writhed and squirmed in pain, Vanessas managed to slide out from under his weight. Onceshe got to her feet she gave him a swift kick to the ribs. Her own viciousness surprised her
Isaac: Isaac tried to cover and go for the places without light and be close to the cars, the dispositive were effective as he could see, but maybe he can maintain the effects for long if he stays close.
April/Liz: Elizabeth stayed close to Isaac and started sending out a mass push. Even if it didn't work, it would be a distraction and let Ryan's surges through any blocks.
April/Liz: After April saw Vanessa's run in she moved to stick closer to her. One of them tried to knock her off her feet but got too close to her in the process. Managing to grab a hold of them she began to burn the man from the inside out.
Ryan /Liam: As Ryan jumped down and went to get in the drivers seat of one of the trucks he was tossed back against the building. When he looked up he spotted a blonde with two surges in her hands. He pulled up his block deflecting both. "Get in the trucks!" He yelled out as the Original closed in on him.
Isaac: Isaac tried to see what was happening but also he needed to keep one eye in the jammer. Everything was working properly but he wanted to put the spiders, as he called them: little devices what can immobilize completely every truck and interrupt communications with the network. But was too soon to be closer, more seeing the fire and the electricity around.
Ryan /Liam: Liam pulled himself up off the ground and shot the next person he came across in the face. He sent a few more rounds at the Original coming toward Ryan. Unfortunately the bullets stopped mid air and were sent back at him, one hitting him in the shoulder.
Vanessa: Vanessa closed the distance between herself and April. She kept to the side so she could watch the younger woman's back.
April/Liz: Elizabeth pushed Isaac toward the truck Ryan had gotten in and made her way toward Liam. "Stay behind me and don't use that bloody gun again." She moved him toward a truck, using her own block to protect him.
Isaac: He was trying to forget all the sounds around, he didn't like dangerous situation but now, nothing is safe. Isaac saw the truck where was Ryan and went in the passenger sit. Immediately he took the spider and put in the screen of the truck, where was a map. "Fucking GPS." He was trying to hack the system trying to avoid alerts or other things what can warn more originals.
Ryan /Liam: Liam yelled out and grabbed his shoulder wound. He followed behind Liz toward the trucks.
April/Liz: April got Vanessa to the second truck as quick as she could, keeping a wall of flames between them and everyone else to mask their exact position. "Get in the back and stay down." She whispered as she pulled the driver door open.
Ryan /Liam: Ryan took the opportunity as Kieran turned the bullets on Liam to shoot her from the sky with his strongest surge. When she was on the ground he leaped forward. The Original telekinetically pulled one of the trucks over toward him causing him to jump out of the way to keep from getting smashed.
Vanessa: Vanessa ducked down in the back seat as instructed. She just hoped it would all be over soon.
April/Liz: Elizabeth shoved Liam behind April's wall of flames. "Go get in the last truck while we take care of her." At least he couldn't take off without them. She set her pushes on Keiran, throwing one after another at her in quick succession.
Ryan /Liam: Liam ran toward the last truck and got in the driver's seat. He took a minute to look over everything, ignoring the pain, to familiarize himself with the vehicle.
Isaac: Seeing a truck move without nothing was something what scared to Isaac, but he knew he needed to work faster, really faster if he can protect everybody. What happened there? Finally he could enter to the network with the spider and could stop the signals, but only in that truck. He needed to work in the others, but he won't leave the sit where he was.
Ryan /Liam: Ryan rolled to his feet and built his surge. He sent a continuous charge at the blonde who was now facing Liz and the rest of the group. With Kieran distracted his surge hit the mark and Ryan walked closer, stepping into it.
April/Liz: April dropped her wall and focused on Ryan's surge. She stepped up behind him for the protection of his block. "Don't freak out." She held her arms out on either side of him and let flames begin to intertwine with his surge, starting far enough away from him that he wouldn't feel the heat.
Vanessa: Vanessa watched it all from the backseat of the truck. She had never seen anything like it in her life, her eyes grew big as marbles as she gripped the leather of the driver's seat.
Ryan /Liam: The Original started to scream in pain as April's flame reached her, setting her whole body ablaze. The sound of her screams and the smell turned Ryan's stomach, but he didn't stop until the noise stopped. "Enough." He called out to April as he stopped his surge and turned away from the charred remains of the Original.
Isaac: With the sounds of the screams Isaac stopped to work. He saw the image as a freak show. They did it. They killed an original. Maybe he didn't directly, but he took the credit for what they did. Not bad, but not good at all because he knew what that means. Isaac reacted and configured the truck for manual driving. He needed to do the same things to the other trucks as soon was possible.
April/Liz: April stopped the flames and dropped her hands. She took a step back and wrinkled her nose. "We need to get out of here."
April/Liz: Liz let out a breath when the Original's body fell to the ground. The rest of the group from the trucks began to run. Once she felt it was safe she headed toward the trucks. "Is everyone alright?
Ryan /Liam: Ryan didn't answer and jumped into the first truck with Isaac. "Are we ready to go?"
Vanessa: "I think we're all ok,"Vanessa breathed as she squeezed her eyes shut and buried her face in the seat in an effort to block out the gruesomeness.
Isaac: Isaac was close to leave the truck when he saw Ryan. "This one. I will go to the others and work faster as I can. Take this one." He jumped and run to the second truck and began to work with the spider on the GPS system.
Vanessa: "I think we're all ok,"Vanessa breathed as she squeezed her eyes shut and buried her face in the seat in an effort to block out the gruesomeness.
April/Liz: Elizabeth headed toward the truck with Liam. "Get into the passenger seat." She gave him a push to do as she said, not wanting to have to listen to any complaints from him.
April/Liz: April headed to the last truck to check on Vanessa. "As soon as we can, we'll get out of here." She smiled at her. "Are you alright?"
Ryan /Liam: Liam's mouth hung open as he watched them burn the woman alive. When Liz joined him in the truck he moved over and looked her up and down. "Well then." He was actually speechless.
Isaac: Isaac finished with the second truck, ready to be driven. The spiders working well as he learnt to handle the first. He went until the truck where Elizabeth was. "The other is ready..." When he activates the spider with his hands. "Put this on the screen, in 30 seconds the truck will be ready and we can go."
Vanessa: "Yeah, I'm alright," Vanessa answered,"better than her any way,"she nodded in the direction of kieren's charred remains.
April/Liz: Elizabeth nodded to Isaac. "Alright, just tell Ryan to give us all another minute before heading out." She took one last look to make sure everything was in order and then set the device on the screen.
Isaac: "Yes, don't worry." He took a moment to see Liam: alive but bloody, maybe was a good night. Finally he saw the originals have a weak point. He arrived to the truck and went to the passenger sit. "We can leave this place in 20 seconds Sparkles." He took a moment to see Ryan, he was in the end a soldier, better than him.
Ryan /Liam: Ryan nodded but kept his eyes focused straight ahead. "Is anyone hurt?"
April/Liz: Elizabeth waited and then started her truck as soon as she could. "You should probably put some pressure on that." She pulled her bag off and tossed it at Liam. "There's medical supplies in there."
April/Liz: "You can't be too careful with them. Like fucking cockroaches." After April heard the truck in front of her start she gave theirs a few more seconds and then got it going as well. "Come get up here in the passenger seat. We should be heading out in a minute."
Isaac: "The agent." Isaac kept the thing simply. "Are you fine?" Even when they had the same goal, isn't the same do all in practice. Isaac had a different life, what maybe prepared him for this.
Ryan /Liam: Liam caught the bag and took a look inside. "So what can you do?" He pulled out a piece of gauze and placed it on the wound with a groan.
April/Liz: Liz looked over at him, giving him a push to smack himself in the forehead. "That's what I can do."
Vanessa: Vanessa climbed into the passenger seat," I heard gun shots earlier, is everything alright?"
April/Liz: "Everyone important is fine." April grinned and looked over at Vanessa. "The agent tried to shoot an Original and ended up just wounding himself."
Ryan /Liam: Ryan nodded and started the truck. He pulled away and drove toward the rendezvous point. "I'm fine." He was a little battered and bruised but otherwise fine. "I've never killed anyone before."
Ryan /Liam: Liam smacked himself in the face and groaned. "Alright! Stop that."
Vanessa: "Dumbass" Vanessa muttered before returning April's smile.
April/Liz: Elizabeth chuckled and began following Ryan.
Isaac: "She was no anyone." Ryan was a cop, and he grew thinking he needed to do the best everyone. That was exactly what he was doing. "Remember always who she was, and why we are here. No was a random death."
April/Liz: "If only it had been fatal." April pulled the truck out and kept in line with the other two.
Vanessa: "Pity" Vanessa agreed before cracking up laughing as she looked at April.
Ryan /Liam: "I know." Ryan responded. It was the screams that bothered him. He knew she was an Original and had to die, but her screams were that of a woman in pain. "I'll be alright. I just want to get home and away from these agents."
Isaac: "I am not good with this..." He passed his hand for his head. "Only not pretend you hadn't change. You changed, and is the normal thing... after all." He sighed. "Go home. I need a bath and see what the spiders could do in that network."

Time to start looking that gift horse in the mouth. Wake up, New York. You've been branded like cattle and herded into pens, is it that surprising the thing that links us all will be your undoing? Be careful what you say. They are listening.

Supply drops aren't the only way to get what you need. Stop waiting around and hoping that the Originals will take care of you. Make your requests known in the places where people gather and we will find you.
