Winter Supplies

As the weather grows colder we will be increasing supply availability for essentials to help you make it through the winter. If you do not have enough credits to afford the supplies you will be enrolled into a mandatory work shift at one of the Original’s facilities to cover the costs. 

Anyone that has been chipped will have access to these supplies. Second Generation do not need to worry about costs. If you would like to have your character get involved with a job please message the main and we will work out a plot.

Clubs Reopened

The Garden of Eden, Avalon, and the Fountain of Youth have all reopened this week. Avalon’s debut during the Halloween party is just the start of the exciting things planned for the trio of clubs. In celebration, credits have been added to everyone’s accounts which can be used to let loose and enjoy the night.

Automat’s Repairs Completed

The automat at the former location of the Ramen House in Manhattan is now reopened and completely operational. Officials say that new locations will be added next year to keep up with demand.

Reconstruction on the Viceroy Complete

Renovations on the Viceroy have finished. Residents are being asked to move back into their apartments. Some things like furniture and personal items were damaged in the attack and were removed but replaced.  Any problems or concerns that may arise during the move should be taken to Jordan Rhodes as soon as possible.

The Kingside Restaurant located on the first floor is also doing soft openings this week for dinner starting at 7:30 pm and ending at 10 pm every night. Everyone who has assisted in the reconstruction project and all residents can eat for free with no points deducted from their account. 

The Roof bar located at the very top of the hotel with wonderful views of the city is also reopening. Happy hour starts at 5 pm with different drink specials every night! 

The Plaza Hotel is Undergoing a Change

As many of you may have noticed work has begun on The Plaza Hotel located at  768 5th Ave in Manhattan just outside of Central Park. Former occupants of Atlantis have been relocated to the building, which is being converted into apartments to make the hotel more comfortable for permanent residence. To ensure their comfort and safety the occupants are asking that only authorized personnel or invited guests enter the building until further notice.

Work Throughout the City Continues

Smith Tower had suffered minimal damage during riots. The Garden of Eden, Fountain of Youth, and Avalon located inside are still closed. Plans have been tentatively made to reopen the clubs before mid October. 

The Abbey theater is still closed although crews have been sent in to assess the damage and clear the building of debris. As of now, there is no set date for reopening.

The Crimson Apple is also closed but with no plans for reopening. The building the had housed the club and a few apartments had been condemned due to extensive structural damage. The public is asked to stay out.

Judgement of Atlantis

The clans have met and decided on the future for Atlantis and it’s occupants. Adamen will be sentence to death for his crimes against the people in Temen. Other Atlanteans will be pleading their case to the Beletum and Shubure as the other clan’s representatives will be exiting the city and leaving further judgement and control up to the rulers of New York. Most have already been granted leniency under certain conditions.

The rebels from Temen are being offered space in the Plaza Hotel in New York along with buildings in other territories around the globe. As of right now the hotel has not been linked into the power grid and does not have electricity. Once the work on the Viceroy had been completed construction on the Plaza will begin.

Rebuilding New York

Thanks to the cooperation between the Originals and humans construction on the Viceroy Hotel is about 50% complete. Power has been restored to the building and the damage to the grid has been repaired. Residents are still being asked to stay clear of the building unless they have been assigned a specific task inside.

Future plans have been announced to rebuild for the Abbey theater, but specific blueprints have yet to be released. Avalon, the Fountain of Youth, and the Garden of Eden will also be reopened after repairs. As of today there are no future plans for the Crimson Apple.

Kino of Atlantis has been Arrested for Murder

Jack Madsen’s killer has been found and is currently in custody. Until more information can be recovered from the murderer people are asked to stay on alert and report any suspicious activity to Damon Smith or Jordan Rhodes immediately.

Private Message:

The force surrounding the Upper East side is asked to pull back to the Viceroy. All Originals should report to CitySpire for a discussion with representatives from Atlantis on the future of Jack’s killer. As of yet, Adamen, ruler of Atlantis, has not responded to requests for a meeting.

All Originals, Second Generation, and Enhanced Humans should report to the Upper East Side. A blockade of the Resistance has been enacted until Jack Madsen’s killer has been captured. 

Adamen has ordered all his people to return to Atlantis or protect the entrances to their city until this issue is resolved. No one is allowed in or out of Atlantis unless on official business.

Death Notice

Early this morning Jack Madsen’s body was found just outside Central Park on 65th St in Upper East Side Manhattan. Although damage was done by the animals in the area prior to the body being discovered he was clearly the victim of foul play. The matter is being investigated and those involved will receive swift justice.

WORK DETAIL

As the city continues to undergo changes there will be more supplies flowing and opportunities to contribute. Free supply drops will continue but in a more limited capacity in order to promote the new employment and credits system. 

Positions in the reopened establishments will be available for anyone interested. All of those willing to contribute to the rebuilding of the city should contact us via your tablet’s messaging system with your skills. Positions are rotated on a monthly basis unless you show extreme proficiency in them. You will be awarded credits for your hours worked that you will be able to use on extra supplies, medicine, and other pay for services around the city.

Second Generation are automatically awarded credits every week for their service to the Originals, however they can volunteer to take on more work in order to earn more credits. Neutrals can pick up jobs they are interested in to earn credits for food, clothing and other supplies. Unchipped government and resistance currently cannot take up these jobs or earn credits unless they are given a specific plot requiring them to.

If you have any suggestions for jobs around the city feel free to send them to us. Credits will not be issued like PSI is, this is an honor based part of the plot that we expect players to respect.

Attention: Reconstruction Warning

Areas around Manhattan will be experiencing a few changes. Buildings taller than 70 stories will be completely demolished within the next 5 months along with severely dilapidated structures. The reconstruction will be making room for more open areas, leaving space for the replanting of native vegetation in hopes of raising the quality of life for all New Yorkers. Your cooperation and understanding is much appreciated as we continue to remold this city into a modern utopia.

DEATH NOTICE

A night of fun celebrating the first step in rebuilding this city ended in tragedy over the weekend. Avalon was attacked by terrorists during the Grand ReOpening Party, ending the life of one of the brightest young stars of her time. The body of Jenna Cavill was found after the nightclub was cleared by the Original’s police force. As the face for human and Original cooperation, Jenna used her fame to give back her people, showing them the true intentions of our benevolent rulers. A memorial will be set up on the first floor of CitySpire organized by Scarlett Miller for those who wish to pay their respects to this bright light extinguished too soon.

Parisians have turned to the streets, voicing their concerns over what seems to be a global unrest today. Authorities have been attempting to prevent mass panic but latest reports are suggesting that the city is on the brink of riots.

RIOTS ACROSS RUSSIA

Civil unrest has broken out across most of Russia's largest cities. Many sources are blaming the Asian stock market crashes and the global effects on the country. Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Kazan, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa and Volgograd have all reported problems and analysts believe it will begin moving on to the smaller cities soon.

STOCKS CRASH

Stocks across the Asian Indexes are suddenly spiraling out of control. Most of the Japanese, Chinese and Hong Kong stocks plummeted today before closing causing panic across the region. Australia, India and Taiwan all saw drops but the markets closed before major damage could have been done. Hopes are not high though for their reopening.

BODY OF THOMAS MOORE FOUND, FLORENCE DEVLIN BEING QUESTIONED

Thomas Moore, a senior consultant at National Investment Securities, was found dead this morning. The police received an anonymous tip that there was a major disturbance in CitySpire at the apartment of Florence Devlin, editor-in-chief of Brava Magazine. It was said that a man and a woman were yelling, and things were being thrown. Upon arrival, Devlin was nowhere to be found.

Devlin has been brought in for questioning, claiming that she was not at the scene of the crime when it took place. Though there has been no arrests made, the police have disassociated Thomas Moore’s kidnapping with the Blood Mary Killer as of now.
