instead of burying your heads in the sand, and pretending that bullying doesn’t exist, or that you could just get rid of it, what you need to do is teach kids how to defend themselves.

i’m still kind of freaked out about it.

you see what i just did there? that’s called de-escalation.

when something bad happens, you have two choices. you let it tear you down or you let it build you up.

you get back up, and you try it again.

it’s been a little rough lately. it’s nice to have people look out for you.

maybe my right way is different from yours.

𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿  𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀  𝘁𝗼  𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆'𝘀  𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆     -     mercy  &  their  dad  mike  barnes  ;  it  is  emotionally  distant  and  the  two  are  not  particularly  close,  they  still  become  legally  emancipated  which  allows  them  to  go  to  hong  kong  to  study.

     before  moving  to  california  to  join  silver's  cobra  kai,  mercy  was  a  part  of  the  iron  dragons  dojo,  learning  from  sensei  wolf  and  was  the  previous  sekai  taikai  female  champion.     however,  they  were  instrumental  in  getting  the  dojo  shut  down  due  to  wolf's  abuse  of  students  and  cruel  teaching  style  before  leaving  to  help  cobra  kai,  not  wanting  wolf  to  be  able  to  keep  abusing  students.

     more  to  be  added  once  i've  had  more  time  to  think  about  it.
