*blows dust off this blog* So, it's been two years since I really touched this blog and with a heavy heart I think it's time to say goodbye to Eli. I love him and love writing him with all my heart but I'm not as attached to him anymore. He'll always be my favorite character to write but my heart's not in it anymore. Maybe I'll return once his MCU counterpart starts appearing more but until then I'll be focusing more on Tim over here @batcrested and most likely coming up with a new blog. *knocks on the door* heyo– still alive but am still looking for a permanent place to live. due to unfortunate series of circumstances I had to leave my former apartment when my former roommates broke up and gradually unstable and hostile to each other and myself. but, if all goes well i’ll be signing a new place friday and moved in next week and will be back writing and all. thanks for being patient and sticking with me!

ACTIVITY NOTICE

So… hi. Mom’s c.ncer was confirmed to be col.on ca.ncer and unfortunately even after her second biopsy last month they confirmed it is in stage 3 that has spread. Intense c.hemo for her has started as of last week and we’re trying to be optimistic for her sake. Not going to lie though how things are stressful and scary and uncertain and those who know me know I already had to deal with losing a parent before so these last two months has not been fun. I love being here, I love writing and seeing mutuals on my dash do make my day but I can’t bring myself to sit down and focus. I try and try but I can’t. So semi-permanent hiatus may be the best idea for now and you all can always reach out via discord because I’m lingering there when I have time: alek#8586.

Meantime, as always, I wish you well, I hope sincerely you’re taking care of yourselves and thank you all for being here.

Update: Mom's been cleared to come home, she's walking on her own now and slowly eating solid foods again. Her pathology results are clean but she will have another biopsy in a month. For now I'm home and have plans to be around after this weekend. Thank you everyone for your patience and check ins they meant the world to me. ❤️

Activity update:

I've been hiding on and off in my drafts lately due to recent change in my daily routine. We're required to do two days in office for work and I got assigned to a new project which is taking a lot of my focus and energy. They announced those who can't make the deadline might be let go soooo with that being said I'm adjusting to the change right now. On top of that I'm in serious talks of getting my t.op surgery before the end of the year and obviously that's also going to be my main focus. I'm still around and can be reached in IMs and disco for those need me. Overall I miss being around the dash and hope everyone's taking care of themselves. ❤️
