I've added more thorough tags to some of the posts on this blog. If you aren't interested in memorizing my insane "rules" for tagging, you are more than welcome to ask what any given series/character is tagged as directly. =P
Series and character tags have been added to posts of my own work (ex. #inanimate insanity, #oj ii).
In the case that a series has a very distinct and widely-used acronym (ex. Battle for Dream Island -> BFDI), this is the tag I use for it. If a series' acronym is too short/common and/or not frequently used by its fans (ex. Object Kerfuffle -> OF), its tag is its full name. Examples:
#bfdi
#inanimate insanity
#ppt2
#brawl of the objects
#object kerfuffle
Character tags follow the follow structure: #[character name] [series acronym]. If the abbreviated version of a character's name is used to refer to them and their full name does not serve to distinguish them from similarly-named characters (ex. Orange Juice -> OJ), that abbreviated name is used in their tag. The series referred to in the tag is the one in which they have most notably appeared so far; right now, this is only really relevant to algebralians. Examples:
#oj ii
#mephone4 ii
#four bfdi
#nine xfohv
#pizza boto
I've only added series tags to reblogs of others' work, since Tumblr includes tags made by the blog to make the original post in searches for it performed on my blog; ergo, on a piece featuring Fan from Inanimate Insanity, the artist almost always includes "#fan ii" (or some variation thereof) on their post, and this makes that tag a viable way for users to search for it on the blog of anyone who reblogs it from them (including mine).
