I had started sketching a Lauren but then I got bored, which is a shame cause I love her but this is life for ya, getting all bored doing interesting stuff so you can go play Candy crush for six hours straight. Which I haven't done in a while, but now that I've thought about it the prospect sounds pretty chill. Anyway you get a Lauren unfinished sketch, might go back on it when the brain allows.

Got 90% of the paperwork for my dad's death done within a day and a half because, hard as it was doing it when he was alive, and it fucking was, he had me write down all relevant information, websites, IDs, passwords and contacts I'd need when his heart would fail.

There was only one document we were missing, and I stumbled on it while browsing papers in his room.

And that's without mentioning the precise instructions for the ceremony, down to no-buying-flowers and the shirt he wanted to wear.

I guess it counts as another PSA to have that stuff ready, even just in case. Even if you're not sick like my dad was. Find someone you can trust, or a place you know they'll look and have it neatly written down. I know I have. I know my mom wants to be cremated wearing her wedding dress. Neither of us is planning to die anytime soon, but seriously. It helps so much. I'm sorry I was being half a dick about it, and people might be whole ass ones cause denial can be like that, but it's worth it.

The initial shock might be bad but the second one, when your brain starts to compute that it's not just something it can wait out in power saving mode until it all goes back to normal, because how couldn't it get back to normal -the second one, it packs so much more of a punch.

It's not about the loss anymore, it's about the absence and all the days and birthdays and holidays and cool-book-release days and plain old days ahead and I am not enjoying this at all

A series of events:

1. I put in an Annual Leave request form almost 3 weeks ago and my boss has not approved it yet

2. I went into my office today and replaced every single writing utensil with crayons in preparation for April Fools Day on Monday

3. Whilst searching for pens to remove, I found my unsigned Annual Leave form in my boss’s drawer

4. I placed my unsigned Annual Leave form in a photo frame and put it on his desk

5. The frame I used was from a photo of his kids that I deemed less important than my Leave form

6. My boss sometimes goes into the office on Saturdays to work

I swear to god with so many people commenting on how girls who got plastic surgery "were already beautiful so much more unique what a waste :(" it's a real wonder how so many of us got, and still get, bullied and mocked for our "unique" features.

Like no dears you do not actually think my nose looks beautiful. I know it cause I've been told and cause I've heard the same thing said about other girls. I'm not getting surgery, and that's not the point, but can we please for heaven's sake quit this hypocrisy and double standards? As in you were beautiful only once you've changed?

I'm not getting in the big debate of whether or not it's going too far, although I do have opinions on that. But please can people shut their holier than thou mouth sometimes like can they. Pretty please
