Almost a month into hormones now. It has been easy to forget some days about what I am doing. Dressing in feminine clothing has become so normal that some days I have to remind myself that I have only been doing it for just under 4 months of my entire life. It's when I take pictures like this that I remember the magnitude of what is going on here - physically altering my body with pharmaceutical intervention. What an age we live in that this kind of thing is available. Go future humans! 👊

I have noticed a definite softening of the skin on my face as well as an overall change in my features that appear less square. The blonde hair adds to the feminine appearance bit the facial features themselves have definitely changed. Body hair regrowth has slowed dramatically over the last couple of weeks too.

I wonder what's next ☺️🤩

Hi Honeys 👋

I needed a short break from the socials to reset and rejuvenate. I love sharing my journey with you all but it's also nice to take time away now and then to concentrate on life that's not on a screen. It's been a much needed period of self-reflection and now I am excited to be back to share new pics and fun updates.

The difference of 3 months on feminising hormone therapy? Nope. Just posture, presentation, clothes and confidence. I took these photos seconds apart (ok maybe minutes) and I think it highlights an interesting point, not just for trans women amidst their transition, but for anyone wanting to look and feel better about themselves.

I see requests for makeup tips in online support groups from transgender women hoping to present as more feminine. But you can do an amazing job with your makeup and still have doubts if you're not feeling pretty inside. Same goes that if you're feeling confident with yourself and express yourself from a place of power with your femininity, you'll find you might need less or no makeup to get the point across.

I used to stack on the layers of foundation and throw every colour of eye shadow and thick black eyeliner at my face to hide my lack of confidence but I think the whole package just made me look like I was faking it. That, and I was also not 100% at peace with who I was or how I thought people saw me. Now here is me, no makeup and no hormones yet, feeling bold and confident in who I am and I think it shows.

I admit that I may also just be having a complete mental episode right now where I think I look a lot better than I really do and it's not having quite the desired dramatic effect. Either way, I guess I'm confident about my mental episodes too! Yay! 🤣
