ldotsdot - DRVCVLV (The Album)
Creekside Sounds October 29, 2012
The album version of the EP of the same name. Most of these songs were made at the super early hours of the morning on nights when I was being tormented by my depressed/anxiety ridden thoughts. A lot of these songs represent an attempt to mirror what I was feeling inside in auditory fashion.
I’ve started thinking that this album needs a trigger warning attached to it as I myself cannot even listen to it without it affecting my mood. I’ve been told by countless others that it affects them as well. I’ve seen people say that it triggers emotional states so specific they didn’t think it was possible to do so by just listening to music. So with that being said if you’re already down and don’t respond well to music that might be equally or even further down maybe don’t listen to this. This album was never meant to be about escaping those dark corners of our minds but rather in my case specifically facing that darkness head on. That type of deep dive into the darkness has proven therapeutic for me. Kind of a “sooner you hit the bottom the sooner you can come back up” sort of thing. It’s definitely not for everybody but it might be for you. If you find that it is I’m honored that I could put something out into the world that serves that purpose for you the way that the creations of many others have for me.

ldotsdot - _drop out
Self Released October 11, 2012
I originally released this as a bit of a teaser for the DRVCVLV album that I dropped in 2012. I left it off of the album because I thought it was too similar to the tracks that were already on there.
This song was used by Bones on the track Water off of his Bones mixtape from 2012.

ldotsdot - Still Afloat
Self Released July 24, 2012
Another go at an ambient track this time getting more into the glitch side of things. I used a vst called Lost Technology for all the lo-fi glitchyness on this track. There’s another version of this track that has drums on it that I might put out as a VIP version at some point.

Main Attrakionz - Perfect Skies (ldotsdot Grey Skies Remix)
Self Released April 26, 2012
An unauthorized remix.
Main Attrakionz is one of my favorite rap acts of the past decade. They have definitely not gotten their just due despite having pioneered a specific strand of rap music that went on to reach mainstream success in various different iterations. I definitely credit Squadda with the birth of Cloud Rap and by extension the popularization of Lo-Fi Hip-Hop beats in recent years. These guys were the self proclaimed Lo-Fi Kings at the time and along with the likes of Friendzone (RIP James Laurence) and many others lived up to that moniker. They for sure had an impact on my music.

ldotsdot - Hella Cozy
Self Released March 5, 2012
A nod to ASAP Yams (who I think still followed my old blog at the time on his old blog RealNiggaTumblr) with the name on this one.
This song was used in part by Bones on the song CashedMoneyMillionaires on his Bones mixtape in 2012.

This simple little loop is a lot more depressing than it has any right to be. I sometimes play it at live shows before my sets.

ldotsdot - DRVCVLV
Self Released October 30, 2011
This is the EP version of the album that came out a year later. Literally chose these beats the night I decided to put it out and didn’t bother giving the tracks proper names.
DRVCVLV 04 was used recently in an animated video entitled S A D by luciferchan on youtube. check that out if you fancy horror genre art/media.

Kate Bush - Watching You Without Me (ldotsdot drag edit)
Self Released July 31, 2011
Who else absolutely loves Kate Bush?
The processing I did to the orginal is as follows: time stretch, pitch shift, eq, delay, reverb. Not a full on remix so I called it an edit.
I was just experimenting one day and thought other people might like to hear it this way so I put it out.
I uploaded this to youtube and it got a copyright claim. Whoever owns the copyright for the original song (or at least whoever administrates the claims) saw it fit to leave the video up. Cool of them to do so to say the least.

ldotsdot - With You (Dub For Sharon)
Self Released February 26, 2011
A bit of a tribute to one of my very favorite singer-songwriter’s. Since making this I’ve had the chance to see and meet Sharon Van Etten (I totally hugged her and thanked her for making such great music-how awesome it was to be able to do so).
