Legitimate question with no ill intentions: why are religious reasons more important to you than your comfort?

CW: Death, Religion in a context that may stir up not great thoughts in LGBT+ folks.

Essentially I think that fully living my spiritual life is not compatible with being trans. With that I’ve come to the conclusion that if I engage in my transness I am less likely to have eternal joy after death, which is very important to me. I think I’m also more aware of my mortality than a lot of people, so that makes it seem like a pressing issue. Feel free to ask more!
