It's easy to calm someone down after a nightmare.
All you have to say is: "It was just a dream."
It's also simple to calm someone down after a dream that is based on a memory.
All you have to say is: "It is in the past, you have survived and are no longer alone."
A nightmare about a worry? Just as easy.
"No worries, you won't have to face this alone. We'll go through it together and we'll survive."
But how the heck do you calm someone down after a very good dream?
You can't just say: "It was just a dream.", "It's in the past." or "You won't face this alone."
All you can do is to listen and keep company to the one who dreamed that his sibling was alive and well.
His sibling finally got to meet his friends.
His sibling got to live and learn about the world everyday.
And then he woke up and remembered.
His sibling is dead.
His sibling has been dead for years.
And there are no perfect words to say.
No words to calm a grieving soul who just got to relive the moment of loss in another way.

Hi, please never neglect your health, apparently I have been carrying some sort of virus for the last 2-3 months and could have literally just dropped dead if a colleague wouldn't have commented on the fact that it seems like I have Corona. '-'
It used to be just a normal flue.
I just neglected it so hard that my lungs were in danger of just suddenly giving up.
And all because I didn't believe myself that I was actually sick. '-'
