Made a FFXIV crossover with those two as well XD

Me and my boyfriend were joking around and made up a funny backstory for the daycare attendants. Hope you enjoy this mind blowing theory. (This is just for fun, so don't take anything I say seriously XD)

First up, Moon doesn't actually want to catch Gregory. What he really wants to do is to swim around in the air with his wire. You see, his dream is to become a professional swimmer, but since's he's not able to swim in water, he uses his wire instead.

When he's activated, he tries to chase Gregory into the play strucure. That way, he can swim in peace and blame the play structures being in the way. He uses some intimidating phrases to scare Gregory into staying there. He didn't think Gregory would touch the generators though, so he get alarmed when 3 of them has been turned on. If the lights go back, Sun will be in control and Moon won't be able to swim! So now he's actually trying to stop Gregory.

When the hourly recharges happen, Moon can resume his swimming, but he needs to pretend trying to catch Gregory, so that Vanny won't complain. Dragging away Freddy was just because he was forced to. That's why he's pretty slow when he's chasing. Of course, when Gregory looks at him for too long, Moon feels judged and goes into raging mode. That's why he speeds up and immediatly catches Gregory.

Gregory's safe in the recharging stations, because it's a prefect excuse for Moon. He'll just go "Oh no, I can't get in there, it's locked! Oh well, nothing I can do, guess I'll just patrol then..." and go back to swimming.

This is where Sun gets in. Moon has been neglecting his duties as a daycare attendant and just swam in the air, while the children either went to sleep themselves or played around. Moon didn't do anything else but play with the wire, so all work was pushed onto Sun. Management was annoyed with Moon's antics, so they made a rule that the lights should always stay on.

Sun got very stressed with all the work and he became obessed with keeping the daycare clean. It was the only thing that made him happy. Sadly, children are very messy, so it was impossible to keep the daycare clean all the time. Sun got depressed and just wished he could be left alone. He's happy and energetic on the outside, but on the inside he's like this:

When Gregory arrives, Sun wants him out of there as soon as possible. He dives down to stop Gregory from messing up the ballpit. He can't kick Gregory out unless the kid breaks a rule, so he has a plan. His plan is to be as annoying as possible, so that Gregory will escape to the security desk and take the pass. Sun knew that it would turn off the lights and then he would be able to ban Gregory from the daycare.

If Gregory goes into the play structure, Sun doesn't even bother going after him. He doesn't want to mess up his clothes and he's already depressed enough, why add more stress onto that? His plan won't work unless Gregory takes the security pass, so it's better just to wait. With nothing to do, he agonizes over the situation instead.

When the lights turn back on, Sun can finally ban Gregory and go back to peaceful solitude. Whatever happens out there happens, Sun has dealt with enough. He needs a moment of peace.

In short, Moon doesn't do his job and Sun is overworked... but that's just a theory, A GAME THEORY!!

Sometimes I try thinking of prompts to ask the Sun or Moon chatbot AIs (https://beta.character.ai/public-profile/?username=RAYTRAC3R) , since they tend to be pretty random in their responses or change personality based on the situation. They're not very predictable, so they're fun to joke around with and I like being dramatic or exaggerate. XD This time, I tried asking the Moon AI if he was a pro gamer, then improvised from there.
