Content Warning: Bloody imagery, implied gore (it’s just pomegranates), and symbolic cannibalism (bro is traumatized)
It’s literally just dramatic pomegranate poetry visualization, but look at your own risk 😎
“I had thought Adha would be the one to lead me to rest… Instead, I held her lifeless body in my arms — saw the terror in her fixed, unblinking eyes…”
*Foams at the mouth* Altaïr and pomegranate poetry and how everyone he loves in his life dies horrible deaths that he feels are all his fault and *shaking* being ready to leave everything behind for Adha only to seek the remnants of her love by destroying those that ruined her which only rids the world of the remnants of her left behind and all consuming love and *sobbing* I am totally normal about this (I am not)
Based heavily on this post

Merry Christmas and happy holidays! This is my Christmas present to @ramshackledtrickster that I wanted to share since even though it’s not particularly festive, it still has that shared happiness between Connor and Io:nhiòte that I think Christmas is all about!
Hope you guys are warm and safe this holiday season, and I hope you enjoy this piece!

A quick sketch of a possible scene I have for the fallout between Ziio and Haytham— details are still fuzzy but this takes place morning-after, and she’s had a sneaking suspicion that Haytham was still hiding certain things from her… then she finds the journal. Haytham stays cold and collected as she interrogates him, demanding the truth. The real truth.
I wanna keep it somewhat ambiguous to whether or not Haytham truly had feelings for her or how genuine those feelings are, but the effects and end result would have been the same (him coaxing and stringing her into becoming a Templar or be sympathetic to their cause, and him trying to use the claim that he was sympathetic to hers as a justification and that she had owed him).
When Ziio realized his true purpose and motivation as a Templar, she left, but made one final deal. He and his men are to stay far away from her village’s territory— or she will kill him.

Where was our subplot about all of Haytham's Templars being a cliquey little gentlemen's club and treating Shay like the scum of the earth, because that would've been so valid and entertaining as hell.
A) He's always out in the woods getting dirty instead of doing things in a civilized, vaguely ominous way, B) He's a former Assassin and nobody trusts him, because why would they, C) It's definitely not sus that his "sworn enemy"/old friend just happened to kill Monro when Shay was conveniently somewhere else, mmh, sure, and D) He lost the Precursor Box, and that's the second time they took an L and Didn't Get The Cool Thing (first was when Haytham couldn't open the cave). Man if I was a Templar, I'd be sick to death of Shay. Here comes the new guy who's the boss's favorite even though he can't do shit. Let's put spiders in his bed.
Also E) He's the bad Catholic kind of Irish, unlike Johnson who's Protestant and cool (which is a canon fact, for some reason?). That's not relevant to anything, I just think Ubisoft wasted the best opportunity to show how Ireland was absolutely reamed by the British. Everyone likes to pretend that didn't happen, huh.
#HELP#ac rogue#shay cormac#the fact that johnson protested against monro saving shay from the sea#if haytham ever brought shay to one of his tavern meetings with the group there'd be such an awkward tension lingering it'd be so funny

Day 3: Enemy
“I said I would find you.”
“And so you have!”
Small note on the scar— I don’t think the game ever explained how Connor got his cheek scar so my headcanon is that it’s Lee’s fault too (either by cutting his face on a rock when he was shoved to the ground, or a more deliberate action by Lee
Also just saying ahead of time please don’t tag or respond with ‘give me lee’ jokes they personally annoy me lmao sorry

Day 8: Discovery
“Hey, he’s your ancestor too. Why don’t you hop in the animus?”
Desmond and William’s fight after the discovery of Haytham being a templar just sickens me in the best way possible. Desmond is so tired and wants to just live for himself for once, and William can’t see beyond the bigger picture. It definitely feels like intentional parallels between Ratonhnhaké:ton and Haytham’s story, though Desmond and William do ultimately find some sort of a resolution (I still don’t like William though).

This was from a while ago and I’ve been debating on posting it (I’m just sorry I haven’t been posting more frequently since school started) but messy idea of some of Ziio’s side of the story towards the end of the 7 years war prologue in ac3.
I kinda wanted her to parallel Ratonhnhaké:ton more in terms of putting herself on the line and being distanced from her village in the meantime in an effort to keep them safe, though put herself through extreme stress and risk instead. For context in this, Ziio has been gone for a long time, and Oiá:ner has even sent people to try and find her while she’s been off on this war effort. Ziio only comes home when she feels she has secured the safety of the valley, especially with finding Achilles on the way back home and finding out she’s part of a much larger war now since her involvement with haytham and his crew (explaining why and how she’s technically an assassin ally)
I really wanted to give her a more vulnerable moment here where the cracks begin to show and being away from her support system really affected her, especially after everything she’s gone through. She’s incredibly cool and capable but she’s only human— and I really wish the game explored more of her and Oiá:ner’s conflict and dynamic personally since there’s some pretty interesting lore within her bio regarding that. She’s a risk taker but in some ways she bit off more than she could chew here.
When Ratonhnhaké:ton comes around and eventually leaves the village to find the assassins, Oiá:ner sees so much of Ziio within him too and worries that he’ll suffer the same fate and stress— but she doesn’t want to fight with him like she fought and butt heads with Ziio all those years ago.
