Hello! Sorry, there's no doodle with this one. October is coming this Tuesday! But I'd just like to say, October is indeed the month of Halloween (excited!!!) but it's also Mental Health Awareness Month. Please, check up on a loved one and ask if they're okay. That can literally save a life. I'll post more positive stuff soon, but for now, I wanted to put this out there. I have a good friend, @make-happy-03, and a therapist that I see for my mental health issues, and I honestly don't know where I'd be if they weren't there. So, stay safe, and keep this post in mind.

Happy Bisexual Visibility Day! It it also Bisexual Awareness Week, but September 23rd is Bi Visibility Day. Be proud!

I dedicate this post to my friend, Weed (it's a nickname, I won't say her real name) for being such an awesome bi person, a wonderful friend, and such a light in my life.

I still remember the day she came out to me like it was yesterday. We were painting pictures at a friend's birthday, and while everyone else was off doing something else, we were talking. I forget what we were talking about, but then she said the words 'I'm bisexual'.

I wanted to cry (in a happy way) because not only did that make my day, but I felt so proud of her. Most of our friends are homophobic, and she didn't even know that I was LGBTQ+ (or maybe she did idk), and the fact that she had the courage to tell me that, made me so happy. I gave her a big hug, came out to her, and then we started talking about more random stuff. I felt our friendship just grow closer, like I felt like I found a friend I've never met before (even thought I've known her for a while). We talked some more, painted, and had a good time. I will never feel prouder and happier in my life than I did in that very moment. I had this day/week marked on my calendar since April (when this happened) and this day is still very important to me. Even thought I'm not bisexual, I still support every bisexual person out there. Weed, if you're reading this, I just want to say thank you so much. Oh gosh I'm lightly weeping as I'm typing this (and the fact that I hardly get emotional about things makes this better lol)

To every bisexual out there, you are lovely, valid, and amazing. Keep being your awesome selves! Have a happy Bisexual Visibility Day/Bisexual Awareness Week, stay safe, and keep being your awesome selves! 💖💜💙
