The Flock & Feather mystery yarn club colorway for April is 'Kingfisher'! ⭐HOW IT WORKS: Each month, a new club colorway will be announced with inspiration photos. To join the club this month, simply head over to our website to choose your yarn base and quantity between the 1st and 14th of the month. Hi Friends!  Welcome to my page, I thought I'd start off with a Meet the Maker post. 💁‍♀️ Hi! I'm Samantha, the dyer behind Lantern Light Yarn & Fiber. It's a one-woman show over here, so I handle everything from dyeing to shipping and everything in between (and before and after 😉 ). Before I jump into my story, I wanted to take this opportunity to clarify what I stand for as a person and as a business owner (in no particular order, and just to name a few). I believe black lives matter, I trust in science, trans rights are human rights, love is love 🌈 , everyone deserves equal rights and to be treated with dignity and kindness always. 💙  I am not interested in arguing any of these points and anyone who spreads hate or harm on my posts will be deleted and blocked. 💕 A little more about me...My love of fiber arts started when I taught myself to knit from a book when I was in 6th grade. I didn't get serious about knitting until my freshman year of college, where I knit my first sweater and first pair of socks. I've been knitting almost everyday since. 🧶 🧦 My dyeing story is similar to many others- I wanted to try my hand at dyeing yarn for personal use. Once I saw the magic of dye striking fiber and realized the endless possibilities, I was totally hooked and I opened up my Etsy shop in 2016. I was able to take my shop full-time during the spring of last year. 👏 Besides dyeing and knitting, I like to cook, bake, and play with my doggo, Holly.  🐾 So that's me! Thank you for joining me on this journey, I am truly so grateful for every like, follow, and purchase.
