Showing some stills from my (yet another one) upcoming tgcf animatic. It takes place somewhere around the end of the book, during the year when Xie Lian and Hua Cheng were apart.

The plot might come across as a little bit abstract cause I'm trying to follow my self-indulgent whims and draw whatever I want rather than follow some logical plotline. But I still hope that I'll be able to convey the feelings I'm going for. (And if I'll not succeed with this, well, at least there will be lots of new illustrations to show)

So far most of the scenes are finished, but I still need time to review the whole thing, make small fixes here and there, and then, of course, there's a compositing process which will take me another thousand years. But hopefully this will be released somewhere in May.
