Sucks to be you.” the brunette teased back. “But hey, um, listen, there was something I wanted to ask you.” 

Landon grimaced at Varya’s words, he grew up at the Pratts where you should never open your nostrils to unknown smells. “Yeeeee-ah I think ill just take your word for it -- and not believe it at all” He nodded in agreement with her “Tell me something I don’t know shortcake.” he smiled in response. He raised a brow “Shoot -- i’m all ears.”

A night before, Varya felt pretty secure about herself, but now seeing Landon there, and that charming smile, how could she not feel guilty? Her crush was obviously still going strong. “And a half.” she replied sarcastically while her cheeks could not keep her from grinning. “If you want, you can even come over for some cereal –– that’s all I can cook, sorry.”

“Nice you’re almost old enough to ride the bus by yourself!” Landon replied smiling down at Varya, how she made him feel so grounded that early in the morning he couldn’t explain but he liked it even if it made him feel unsure. He wrapped an arm around Varya’s shoulder “Sounds good -- lead the way.”

“That’s one way to put it,” she said allowing her opinion to be swayed by his words. Her passion for flowers could wither in just a few years and she’d be stuck with what was just a reminder of her hanahaki. “I think I’ll just get a new piercing instead. Maybe a septum this time? Or a daith?”

“Its the honest way to put it -- can’t sell you shit you could sue for ya’ know” he responded looking away from the calendar. He nodded in agreement “That’s one thing I am able to help you with” he began as he stood up “--You looking for a consultation or to get it today?”

“How pleasant. Why were you even showing them pictures of infections? Trying to drive away your only business? I mean, I get not wanting to actually work. I’ve done it enough times - made Gina cover something I’m supposed to be doing but she doesn’t realize is my task. But damn, sounds like you only made more work for yourself.” Britt grinned, tapping her nails on the desk. “I’d actually prefer all three of you to pay attention to me, but I suppose that’ll just have to wait until dinner time tonight. After Beau’s in school and Sadie’s at work, and you’re..” she trailed off, motioning at the tattoo shop, “here. Anyway, I’m actually here to get the coloring done on my tattoo from a moth ago or so. Got a tattoo artist that can handle gills? Or are you going to show me infection pictures?”

Landon shrugged nonchalantly while leaning back into his chair and resting his hands casually behind his head. “Because she was a complete hypochondriac -- started stressin’ bout shit going wrong and infections and then started stressin’ bout not being able to pick a tattoo” he raised his feet to rest on the desk “--So I helped her make up her mind.” he explained with a devilish grin dancing across his face. He smiled at Brittany’s words “Yeah yeah excuses, we all know you’re here to see me.” he teased, before putting his feet back down and sitting up straight. “We’ve all got good stomachs here nothing you’ve got could freak us out -- not really, unless you’re into that kind of shit?”

Lock is six years old and the leader of Oogie's Boys, but does not always think thoroughly and actually appears to be just the second most intelligent, if not Shock's intellectual equal. Lock wears a devil costume; his teeth are pointed sharply, his face is narrow and long-jawed, and his hair is waxed into two horns making him, literally, a handsome devil. His barbed tail is actually real and connected to his body. He loves being large and in charge, and gets upset when others insult him or take the lead. However, he goes along with others' ideas if he cannot come up with anything himself. He proves himself to be right occasionally, such as when he insisted Santa Claus can fit into anything (i.e. chimneys, Oogie's sacrificial shoot). Without his mask, he might not have horns, but his handle bar style hair makes it look really close. Judging from his lines in the film, he appears to be the most violent and malicious of the group, making him the most dangerous of the three.

Britt walked in the shop, coming in for a coloring session. She’d gotten her outline done months ago, but now she was ready for the rose shaped tattoo to be colored in. Hearing Landon’s voice, she grinned, moving to the front counter. “No one here but us nice burglars. Keep updating the calendar, nothing to see here.”

"Awesome, take out the trash on the way out someone threw up in there after seeing an infection image this morning.” Landon responded with his eyes still glued to the screen, he clicked save and turned his attention to Brittany. “What’s up anyway gorgeous, one Pratt’s attention not enough for you?” he teased.

“Are you up to tattoo my intimate areas? Just forewarning you, armpits count as that.” Var chuckled, arm swinging on thin air as it worked its way back to her side. “Gee, I know work’s not supposed to be super extra fun but come on dude, you could brighten up a little.”

Landon smiled rubbing his eye, he knew immediately it was Varya who had walked through the door “If I pick up that needle during work hours I’ll be murdered but I think i’d rather that than touch your stinkin’ pitts.” he teased. “I spent all morning sorting out loose studs into piles -- i’m fucked V.”

“try not to sound so excited to see me pratt.” she teased as she walked her way back to her station. “you should really be trying to drum up some business. get some pep in your step.” she teased with a wink. “do you think the boss knows i’m late?”

“Sorry darlin’, next time i see you coming ill throw you a parade” he jolted back looking over his computer. He rolled his eyes “You sound like a girl scout only more annoying because you came without cookies.” Landon shrugged “Boss ain’t even here so I won’t snitch if you don’t.”

“Landon!” Varya was so shaken with surprise that she could not even think of using one of the many nicknames she had thought of for the guy, and with her hands tugging onto the jacket that had just fallen over her, she tried to be as quick as she was on her feet so something else would come out of her mouth. “Going to get some milk –– Can’t have my cocoa puffs without milk.” That at least had to help out and too cover the phew ! Varya let out right after. “You?”

Landon wasn’t sure if it was the paranoia from his come down or if anything was actually up with Varya but something seemed very off to him about the whole situation. He raised an eyebrow, unconvinced but amused by her. “Coca puffs? -- What are you 12?” he asked with a smile that he wasn’t able to hide. “On my way home I guess but now I’m going to the store with you?” he asked with a lazy grin.

Sia wandered into the Ink shop wonderingly. She’d not had any ink done obviously, but she has a few piercings. In her ears, and a belly button one she rarely used anymore. “Just looking, never had any ink done and I’m trying to decide whether or not I’ll regret it later?”

Landon kept his eyes on the computer screen until he was finished, he glanced up across the desk at the woman and shrugged. “Beats me, I’m just a piercer so if shit goes wrong you can take it out. Tattoo’s and crap are too eternal for me, only get what you’re sure you’ll still be into in fifty years.”
