Little Announcement (on the behalf of the people involved)

So there’s this . person . let’s call them Jack

Jack is a TikTok user who’s very obviously into madness combat themselves, one of their favorites assumably bring Auditor. In fact, it’s obvious that they prefer a female version of the Auditor. So they made a post about it around somewhere during pride month. The obvious obsession with the character is harmless, but there’s a really huge problem with what their post consisted of.

The post is a slide of about like 35 pieces of art with a song playing on the post, so it’s a slideshow of Aud art. However, none of them were credited at all. They were actually used without permission.

Not only was my comment regarding the fact that I didn’t want my art used deleted about a few days ago with TikTok’s profile viewing system showing that they visited my profile themselves (meaning that they in fact saw my comment), they know very well what they’re doing. I’m not the only one who’s art was used without permission and has gotten their comments deleted trying to ask to take the post down, but @distressedwalnut also has their content inside of this post too. They only got blocked in response trying to reach out too.

It made me genuinely upset to find out and it only makes me even more upset that this person won’t even take responsibility just for the sake of keeping the post up. Considering their profile is also full of questionable things, I really do not want nor need them using mine or anyone else’s content for their weird thirsting. I won’t make an effort to censor them either to genuinely spread awareness. We only tried reaching out to them only to get shoved aside, so we really want the post taken down now. When I first found out back in July, I originally gave a small rant about it on Twitter in only one post (shown in pictures), but was more than willing to wait for a response from Jack as long as I got one.

I don’t like the idea of having to make callout posts for this type of bs, but it’s genuinely ridiculous to feel the need to steal art for this. It’s not just coming from myself either. It’s coming from every artist who’s stuff is in this post.

Scammer is using the name and photos from a legitimate fundraiser and trying to get money instead. Do not donate to the scammer. Link leads directly to the actual fundraiser. It’s likely the real PayPal the person uses isn’t the one being shown here. The blogs are a day old and spamming asks to reblog a pinned post. Past research shows these people being copied do not use this site at all.
