The Mucha museum on Instagram using AI to generate a shitty collection of fake Mucha paintings for an unnecessary reel instead of commissioning some of the very talented real artists who draw in Mucha and Art Nouveau inspired styles and then doubling down after being called out by hundreds of comments is mind-boggling. You’re supposed to preserve art, not sell out to big tech and no, the fact that the man was a proponent of technological progress in the late 19th/early 20th century is not the argument you think it is.
