Naomi: she can't see from the distance miles away without her glasses, so she wear them all the time. She's big fan of vocaloid, j-pop music, mitski when at her lowest, she's Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, so western countries is really new to her and may get confused with the laws. She's well-mannered to the point where it's annoying and she trying to live little without let rules get in her way. Her biological father was probably the shitty person which is why she prefers her adoptive father over him, he can be considered abuser who is obsessed with perfection and it affects her when come to social situations and how she act. Even though she's well-mannered and polite. It's easy to rile her up and get under her skin when in private, her left was brown just like her biological father and so she use eye contact to match her mom yellow eyes instead, she's highly protective and supportive of her young sister (School Idol) when come to her dream of being a idol.

Aoi: her way of bonding with people is though foods. She love cooking and baking, though she's well-mannered and calm. When she was young, aoi has always been the girl that people bully, and insult for being overweight to the point where her mom pulled her out of school for homeschooling her however she would start crying over the words of her classmates everyday. She has low vision and can't see that well which is why she is wearing glasses but feel little shy about it so kuku wearing them to help her feel self-confident about her Despite her cheerful disposition, Aoi has a fierce protective streak. She’s quick to defend Kuku from any hurtful comments or situations in public, wanting to shield her from the pain she has experienced.

kuku: Kuku grew up in a turbulent household, where her alcoholic mother was often absent or neglectful, this environment has made her crave companionship and also it force her to be mature at early age. Aoi is always there for Kuku, willing to listen to her thoughts and feelings. She encourages Kuku to express herself and never judges her for her past, making Kuku feel seen and understood. Kuku struggles with intense emotions due to her trauma. While she sometimes displays yandere tendencies, her love for Aoi is rooted in a deep fear of abandonment and a desperate need for connection. Aoi also has a bright and optimistic disposition. Her cheerful nature often serves as a ray of light that helps Kuku feel safe and loved, something she deeply craves after her traumatic upbringing. She doesn't know what to do in social situations and always blame herself for things that are out of her control which is caused by her mom always blame her for the death of her unborn brother. Her grandma is the only person who is kind to her and taught her everything in order to survive so her grandma would be a traumatic experience for kuku. She's overprotective, gentle and caring towards kids make her a great babysitter, aoi taught her to take care of herself first and put her needs first since she care for others so badly that she forgets about her health and her well-being.

Kugari: isn't actually Japanese but act like he is so people won't pick on him for being different. Gay but doesn't like use labels. In relationship with Hermit Turtle, bc both are video games nerds. Was unsure about his feelings for Hermit (Lucas Alexander.) Until nari haruka help him out with his feelings while he helps her out with her feelings for aoi. He didn't want to be basketball player yet his emotionally abusive and distant father force him to, his dad also only care about his grades. He struggles with intense emotions due to his trauma and doesn't know how to deal with them.. His dad treatment affect him greatly. He actually likes music and instruments. The reason he isn't observant as others is because he would stay home work on his homework or wait for his dad to come home and cook dinner which never happened. So he's insomniac and has black circles under his eyes. He's sort of cool, carefree, jokester, cocky, surprisingly patient guy when come to his relationship with Hermit. So he's tall mf even more taller than Naomi.
