+ Santana Maria Lopez. Lucky fucking you, you just managed to stumble over your loser feet and land on the blog of a sex goddess. Well, pat yourself on the back because I'm your ultimate fantasy and your scariest nightmare all wrapped up in the body of a Spanish angel. You probably know me from around the halls of LAGTY, where I'm the reigning Queen Bitch. I'm seventeen years old and as soon as I get out of this glorified pile of shit I'm going to be a top class model, that's certain. Until then, you'll find me passing my time making a list of people I've slept with in LAGTY and stealing your boyfriend or girlfriend. Enjoy, losers. This is the most attention you'll get for the rest of your lives. out of coming over, valerie

I never said that. I was confused twenty four hours ago and I'm confused now. I haven't known how I feel about you, and then you kissed me... and I still don't know.

TAGGING → Santana Lopez and Thalia Pierce.
TIME FRAME → Monday evening.
LOCATION → Lima Allen County Airport.
GENERAL NOTES → Drowning in my own Thaltana tears
THALIA PIERCE:
Thalia felt Santana’s arms go around her and she instantly felt awkward. Hugs weren’t their thing. They didn’t even really like physical contact unless you counted all of those times when Thalia was the big spoon and Santana was the little one. Fixing a smile on her face, she laughed. “Shut can’t go up,” she remarked, finding ease in their semi-forgotten banter. She loved bantering with Santana. “Are you sure that you can’t do that by yourself, Lopez? I mean, you drink more than a trucker does,” she makes a mental note to buy all of the vodka she can and drink it until she can’t see straight in honor of this moment. “We have a thing? I didn’t know you liked me so much, Santana.” Her gaze softened slightly and to hide that, she used the free moment to toss her hair over her shoulder.
The girl struggled to say something when Santana turned around and she just stood there for a moment, staring blankly after her and then she took off like a bullet. “Lopez,” she shouted, her voice carrying through the crowded airport.  “Is that it? Is this the end? Are you going to say something? Aren’t you going to try and fight harder? I don’t… I expect more from you! This feels half-assed. Now get back here and do it right!” The last word rang in her ears as Thalia stopped, panting, and rested her hands on her knees.
SANTANA LOPEZ:
Santana sighed, running a hand through her hair. She stopped, moving back through the crowd and pushing her way back to Thalia. "What do you want me to do? You're leaving and I don't know what to say to you. Am I meant to say goodbye to my best friend if I don't know how I feel about her? There's a big difference between waving off a drinking buddy and the person you've been subconciously pining over for six months." She squeezed her eyes shut, burying her face in her hands. "I can't believe I just said all of that. See, Thalia? This is what you do to me. I don't even know what to think of you as."
If there was one way to fuck everything up, that was it, Lopez. She looked up from her hands and met Thalia's eyes, shrugging. "Don't you have a plane to catch? You got what you always wanted, I laid all my feelings out for you. You can go now, I'm done." She folded her arms across her chest, turning to walk away and pausing for the briefest of moments, hoping that the blonde would sprint after her. She won't.

GENERAL NOTES → Drowning in my own Thaltana tears.
THALIA PIERCE:
The girl sank lower down into the uncomfortable chair, using one hand to cover her face. “Santana,” she muttered slowly, hoping to grab the girl’s attention. Thalia sighed and rubbed her forehead. Was this girl out of her fucking mind? She… she wasn’t the reason that she was leaving. There was just too much going on and it wasn’t Santana’s fault, was it? Thalia could debate on whether it was later on but for now she wanted to just not blame the Latina. The Latina had been her friend at first but then they had started growing up and things had changed and the familiar dynamic and banter had felt wrong but Thalia couldn’t have let the brunette go. She was Santana… they were friends… or acquintances. Or whatever they were now. Thalia wasn’t even sure. “I’m not angry with you,” she said, swallowing past the lump in her throat. The lump was probably a bunch of tears about to spill out at any moment and she really didn’t want a bunch of strangers to see her burst into tears now.
She listened as Santana spoke, wanting to protest with every fiber in her being. She wasn’t leaving because of Santana… She didn’t know why she was leaving. She just knew that she had to do something other than the same repetitive shit that she had been doing at LAGTY. The girl swallowed once more as she stood and turned around, spotting Santana almost immediately. And then she stuck her phone in her back pocket and removed her headphones, keeping her gaze locked on the Latina as she walked slowly towards her and then pulled her into a hug. “It’s not your fault, Lopez,” she said, her tone teasing to stop the other girl from hearing the tears in her voice. “When the hell did you get so dense anyways? I thought you were smarter than that.”
SANTANA LOPEZ:
Santana didn't know what she expected, but a hug certainly wasn't it. She awkwardly put her arms around the taller girl, patting her on the back. Part of her wanted to laugh at the fact that for one second, the idea of Thalia kissing her was inside her head. That's ridiculous, she's your friend. You don't even want her to do that. She pulled out of the hug, taking a step back from Thalia. "Shut up," she retorted. "I'm being serious here. I really do want you to be happy and enjoy California and spend every weekend getting ridiculously drunk on my behalf." She half smiled. "Just don't go having dance parties with other girls, yeah? That's our thing, Pierce."
Another long moment passed and Santana found herself avoiding Thalia's gaze. "I guess I better be going, then," she announced, her voice hoarse. "I ran through security without permission and they probably think I'm a terrorist." She shrugged. "And you'll miss your flight, of course." When she felt as if her heart would jump out of her throat completely, she touched Thalia's arm before turning around and beginning the walk back out of the boarding lounge. That's it. She's not going to run after you. She's leaving and you have nobody.

THALIA PIERCE:
People were really fucking rude and this was coming from someone who had been born in California and she knew that the famous state wasn’t especially famous for its nice people. But this was Lima, Ohio and she expected people to be a little more courteous towards a sixteen year old girl with a bunch of suitcase and almost two hours before her flight boarded. She’d been shoved more times than she could count and had had to pause and pick up the cosmetics bag that kept dropping to a floor. Flipping off a man who almost shoved her into the wall for what felt like the eighth time to her body, Thalia finally reached her boarding area and plopped down in one of the seats- far towards the back and out of eye. She just needed a moment- a moment to cry or do something. She’d been acting far too calm since she had decided to go home and now her heart was pounding- almost attempting to leap out of her chest. She didn’t want to do this. She didn’t want to go home. But her parents were expecting her and she didn’t want to disappoint them- not now when they were treating her like she was finally their daughter.
The girl brushed her bangs out of her eyes and tucked some of the wayward strands behind her ear so it wouldn’t irritate them again. Then she pushed up her sleeves, turned up her music, and stretched out her legs because the wait was just starting now. She knew that she would home long after her parents had gone to bed and she was glad that she had called Danny- Danny would come and pick her up. He’d be shocked by the changes- they all would be. But they’d get used to it. They always did. Thalia changed her personality like she changed the polish on her fingers. Her head nearly banged against the wall when her ringtone began to blare in her ears and the blonde looked down with a frown as she answered it. “Santana,” her tone was hushed and she had to press the earphones in tighter to block out the sounds from the airport. “I’m in the airport. Did you… What did you… are you okay? I thought you…” She trailed off, clenching her jaw. “Just speak.”
SANTANA LOPEZ:
Santana, in all honesty, wasn't expecting Thalia to pick up. She was hoping against hope that she would hear her friend's voice on the other end of the receiver, and when she did, her legs almost went out from underneath her. She began to walk again, listening to Thalia's stuttered questions and looking for the sign for the boarding lounge. That had to be where she was. "I know you're in the airport," she said, calmer than she felt. "It's my fault you're here. And I don't just mean today... If I hadn't made you so unhappy at school then you never would have agreed to leave. I bitched at you for God knows how long and I don't even know why. I'm not angry with you, I'm just angry." She turned another corner, spotting the sign for the boarding lounge and slowing down.
She entered the large, noisy, crowded room, seeing where Thalia was sat. Santana was behind her, about twenty feet away, and she stayed put. "If you're leaving, I want you to know that I'm okay with that. I really do want you to be happy, even if that means being as far away from me as you can get. I just didn't think it was fair that I didn't say goodbye." She bit her lip, watching Thalia's reactions. What do you think is going to happen, Lopez? You'll turn to leave and she'll stop you with a Disney kiss? After a long moment, Santana spoke again, "Thalia, just turn around so I can say goodbye."

THALIA PIERCE:
Sad blue eyes examined her room at LAGTY for the last time. Her friends wouldn’t know that she was gone- she’d only told Santana and she wasn’t even sure that Santana would care enough to tell even Cameron. Thalia let out a curse as she realized that she had left something out in her hurry to pack- she had left out a photo of her and Santana. Picking it up, she eyed it with a rueful smile and reached up to touch herself on the cheek. She had slimmed down even more in the past few months and her cheekbones stood out like razorblades and she felt as though her body was at the best state that it could be. She had even gotten a new hairstyle in the past month- her long hair had been trimmed to a length just past the top of her breasts and she was the proud owner of a pair of side bangs that fell to the bottom of her jaw with tips that changed colors every two weeks. She was more withdrawn, more obedient now it seemed and her parents had been right- LAGTY had changed her for the better. But that didn’t mean that she wouldn’t cut someone down like she used to- Thalia would still do that with a smile on her face.
She turned the photo down and left it… She was no longer that person; Santana had even told her that she could have gone earlier than she had planned. Nobody needed her here anymore. The thought brought a tear to her eyes as she left her room for the final time, stuffing her suitcases into the trunk of the cab that she had paid for and climbing into the backseat, giving the driver precise directions as to how to get to the airport. On the way there, she just leaned her head against the window and listened to music, preparing herself for going home. After Santana had sent that last text message, she had brought herself an earlier plane ticket that left at about eight and had gotten a refund on the other one. The airport was quiet when she arrived and for that she was glad. Grabbing her suitcases, she tossed the cab driver a twenty and made her way inside, quickly checking in and then heading towards security. While on the escalator, she leaned her head against the wall, earphones still firmly in her ears.
SANTANA LOPEZ:
Santana pulled her car into the parking lot of the airport, half tripping over her feet as she climbed out of the vehicle. She walked through the main entrance, scanning the huge floor for a flash of that blonde hair with coloured tips. I haven't seen her in over a month, she thought. I don't even know what colour she dyed them. She took in a deep breath, reminding herself not to panic. Santana Lopez doesn't panic. The help desk was nearby, and she pushed eagerly through a group of people until she was at the front of the line. "Can you do one of those announcements?" She asked, almost shouting at the man behind the desk. "I'm looking for Thalia Pierce, I just need -" the man interrupted her. "I'm sorry, ma'am, I'm going to need you to step to the back of the line." Santana threw her hands up in the air, desperate and exhausted. She walked away from the desk, taking fast-paced steps towards the electronic board in the distance. She squinted, reading the list of flights from its black and orange lights. California - boarding now.
She felt her heart drop into her stomach. Before she knew where her legs were taking her, she was sprinting through the thick crowds, shoving people out of the way and leaving a trail of angry businessmen attempting to regain themselves. She reached the security area and her throat tightened up. Calm down. Think. She approached the smallest guy there, painting a smile on to her face and taking her phone out of her bag. "Hey, I'm really sorry to cause any trouble, but my friend is boarding a flight home and she forgot her phone." She gestured to the one in her hand. "She's lost without it." He studied her for a moment, frowning, and asked her to wait for a moment while he walked off to consult with another man. Santana seized the opportunity, ducking around the body scanner and sprinting around the corner, out of sight. She eventually stopped, out of breath and sweaty, to look around for her friend. She's gone, Santana. You were too late. She felt sick, dizzy. Her phone was still clutched in her hand, a wallpaper of herself and Thalia. Your phone. Her heart lept and her fingers shook as she tentatively pressed Thalia's number.

She stood up, pushing herself off of her bed and grabbing her keys. If she wasn't going to put up a fight to make Thalia stay, the least she could do was say goodbye. They were friends, after all. She entered the entrance to the parking lot, starting up her car and beginning the journey to the airport. What if you're too late? Her flight could have gone by now. You don't even know where she'll be. They won't even let you in. Santana ignored her own thoughts, turning up the radio and putting her foot down on the accelerator.

I just looked it up, and I am most definitely down with that.

I am too! Alright, I was thinking like a Gatsby-esque theme, like old-fashioned tuxes and overly styled hair for men, showy and fun dresses for girls. Something classy, but, of course, wild, as Gatsby’s parties were. Does that interest you?
