Beware everybody, black|Up Cosmetics isn’t a black owned makeup brands. I worked there, at the headquarter in France, so I can tell you. It have been created by a black person indeed, but then he worked with the wrong persons, and his project have been “stolen”. He was an artist and not a businessman, so it have been sold to someone who knows how to handle a brand.

The staff is not even mainly composed of black people. Plus, if I have to add but I don’t really like being disrespectful to a company who hired me, as a black girl with natural hair, I have been a bit harrassed by the CEO about it. He was touching my hair everyday, never listening to me, always talking about my hair. There was some racists jokes popping out during meetings. I was shocked, and never really knew how to handle this situation. Therefore, I think it should be removed from this list.

Even if u don’t plan to participate, i want to spread the word.

And, I beg you to not answer "that's always your excuse" when I do. Mental illness is not an excuse. It's a disease. A real, existing one.
