Reverse 1999 Changed the Way I Speak

My siblings looked at me weird when I asked them for water and repeated my words back. That's when it dawned on me that Reverse 1999 has affected my speech patterns.

Instances:

I would catch myself saying "The scale of your soul has tilted. The balance needs to be restored" with varying degrees of accuracy.

In general, I think I got addicted to the way 6 says certain words like 'balance' that I ended up speaking more like him.

Says "Hold on!" in Kakania's tone and "Doktah" frequently. Other equivalents are saying "Doktah shield!" every time Kakania takes the brunt of the damage in my team (it's only "KAKANIA NOOO!!!" or "KAKANIA WHYY!!!" when she dies from it)

When my sister said "For you" to give my bro dessert, I responded back "..and for us"

I end up saying "Urgh" the way 6 does when I'm displeased

My twin and I would randomly say "Ti suffoca sangue" (we forget the 'il' part)

I think there are more instances but these were the first ones that came to mind. (Also why is it mostly 6)

Catching up with the pace of my imagination is difficult and the online software I'm using doesn't save my drawings so I decided to go back to Krita and find brushes that I want to use.

The Last Day of 2024 : Enkindling Flame

"You...are so kind to me J" the songbird hesitates "Were you only a hallucination in my brain?"

Although initially surprised, he gazed at her sadly knowing what she had been through.

"If you're not so sure we could check," the man extends his hand "maybe a handshake or a fistbump-"

J's eyes widened. Not a touch of delicate hand but a warm and lonely soul envelops him instead, holding on for dear life.

When I watched Isolde's hypnosis scene through the Japanese version, Isolde VA's performance captivated me so much that it researched about it. And what mortified me was that every worst case scenario that could happen in hypnosis was done to Isolde

(ex. conducted by an unqualified individual, non-consensual hypnosis, performed to a severely mentally ill person with delusions, etc)

Then what could break her from hypnosis? Is there a way to un-doom Isolde? After doing a bit of research, hypnosis patients usually go back to normal eventually on their own since they are aware of their state. Isolde might have to realize discrepancies in her reality to break free.

And that's where J comes in. My twin has both of them in her account and in one of Isolde's dialouges, she mentioned receiving many gifts except for an amulet to repel spirits, and J is a blacksmith who can make that for her and the rest was history.

Despite being different as night and day, having a constant like him would reprieve her of her loneliness and be one of the steps for her to question her reality, and eventually break from hypnosis. This piece is the imagined aftermath.

Thoughts about Spathoezra

I swear 1.5 wants you to ship Spathoezra HARD. Imagine one of the main themes of Uluru games is interracial conflict between human and arcanist and the two main leads represent that to a T.

Imagine reacting harder to Ezra being a boy than being a reincarnator, to the point you woke up when you were supposed to be unconscious for a couple days.

Imagine having Chapter titles like 'Superman' and especially 'Unsinkable' which is based from a love story, with descriptions such as 'The light of reason shall one day shine upon the earth.' and 'Don't ever talk about any of my plans like that again! Promise me... Promise me, my love!' respectively.

Imagine going through the break-up/make-up plot, with the side characters offering guidance on your relationship.

I could write more about this ship in the future but what I'm saying right now is that Spathoezra is heavily intertwined with the core of the story that disregarding it would be a disservice in understanding the plot and themes surrounding 1.5.

Encountered this in my files while looking for music to play. I know you guys are starved of art so here's my contribution to the fandom.

The children in the Suitcase are usually fond of Zima (Yenisei and the other children invited him once to hang out with them and he accepted) and they feel comfortable opening up to him (such as Marcus in one of the daily sign-ins) so I imagine this happening often.

Also I headcannon that Zima looks a lot like Avgust's dead father so he often latches on to him.

I think Reverse 1999 is experiencing a fandom drought these past days since it's finals week in the Philippines. My Getian painting is nearly done but I cannot finish it right now because I have too many papers to write. May the lord have mercy upon me!

With the exception of ducks, geese, and ratites, all male birds don't have penises. Instead, they have an opening located under their tail called the cloaca. This is practically identical to females and they also use it for urinating and defecating.

As for the mating process, mating dances or rituals can be elaborate, flamboyant, and complex but the actual act itself is extremely quick. Their cloacas briefly align in what we call the "Cloacal kiss" and then it's done. It could even last for only a second.

So even in the nude, Getian will only have a human upper body (w/ exception to his wings) and a bird lower-half(practically feathers). His kind might behave similarly to platypi in which they lay eggs but nurse their young with their milk.

getian got me thinking about bird genitals

I find it frustrating when one half of the pair frequently gets flanderized, overlooked, and overshadowed because they are shipped with another character. And I feel that towards Isokania; When the fandom talks about Kakania, they can still separate her from Isolde and talk about what she is going through but when it comes to Isolde I don't see that same level of respect.

It's often(if not always) about her agonizing/being obsessed over Kakania, being crazy, and being so tragically beautiful as to subject her as the muse for one's art. Why can't she be happy! Where are the fics, fanart or discussion where she is getting her stuff together (since it's been obvious from the start that she's been trying so hard)! Where are the posts that analyzes how she was affected by the values of her time?

She depended on Kakania because she was one of the only people who treated her properly when everyone else placed her up on a pedestal. But what happens when she finds other people who could treat her right, if not, even better? What then? Would she still feel the same way towards Kakania?

"ISOLDE ART STUDY"

I couldn't focus on my papers so I drew her instead. When I realized that she's a triangle all over her character design with softened edges, everything became easier.

Her body type, especially the arms and face part, reminded me of my own body type. I guess seeing spirits isn't the only thing I share with her.

I know I made other drawing prompts to get rid of art blocks but my perfectionism is preventing me from moving on from my first prompt. So here's another drawing of 6 wearing a suit. It's not perfect or strongly concepted but whatever, at least it's out and it looks decent.

I decided to write myself a bunch of art prompts and pick one of them randomly as a way to overcome my doomscrolling but I didn't realize that drawing "6 with more types of suits" would prove to be so challenging. I only came up with this draft but admittedly I ended up drawing 37 instead. I'll get it eventually.

A tragic and traumatic life is normal to those who know nothing else. She belonged to all of Vienna, she belonged to everyone...except herself.

But then that familiar world is gone.

The suitcase has its unusual but united inhabitants. Slowly but surely, the empty void of her heart made its way to new friends and new experiences.

Then it hits her.

She was too young to be the star of Vienna.

Too young to be the measure of perfection, too young to be subjected to perverse obsession from so-called admirers, and too young to hold the weight of a world-ending war.

Now it's all gone. Vienna, Theophil, Trista, her mother and father, and her. The golden key she hoped to open her empty door was only brass. If her only anchor to the crashing tides is also broken, then how can't she drown?

Where will she go?
