Idk if you've ever explained or answered this but *why* is Whitney so infatuated with Spidey?

Also another question ; in an AU or smth where Whitney isn't head over heels for Peter, what would her ideal type be?

Whitney is infatuated with Spider-Man because of his good nature and his ability to look out for others and see the best in people. Though it does seem like she only likes him for his heroics, there is more to her infatuation then that.

It's simply that he's such a good person.

She grew up incredibly lonely and isolated that all she had to keep her happy was the idea of someone so beyond her wildest dreams that was so compassionate to others that she wanted to be the object of that compassion herself. She sewed herself into the idea that SPIDER-MAN would be the only thing that brought her true happiness, even if she was able to somehow get people to like her through Pinkypool, she wouldn't feel complete without him.

This would lead Whitney to having impossible standards for a potential partner, because she wanted nobody else but Spider-Man. She's been single for so long because she refuses to give anyone a chance to sweep her off her feet that isn't him. Which only makes her more lonely despite how many people throw themselves her way.

Hell, she could meet Peter outside of work and admit that he's just "cute" and nothing more without the knowledge that he's Spider-Man.

It's apart of why Peter is quite hesitant to really shoot a shot with Whitney, feeling that she's moreso into the MASK rather than the person beneath. Cause how would she be able to love Peter outside of the costume that she put so highly on a pedestal. He'd want her to have a better understanding of him as an individual and not love him solely because of his job.

As for an ideal type: She doesn't really have one (Outside of cool superhero). She latches onto anyone who really just cares for her. As it's all she wants.

The Amazing!AU could technically count, as despite being in love with Spider-Man, Whitney later comes to realize that she does have feelings for Peter himself, being her only best friend and generally just being so caring and attentive of her. She's just unsure whether to shelve her crush for something actually real, or risk losing the chance to have what she's been dreaming of for years.

has pinky ever been a part of any teams? (shield, the Avengers etc) or has she ever formed a team of her own?? In a hypothetical team she formed who would be in it?

The most of a team that Pinky has ever assembled are the Pinkypoolers.

They exist solely in the Insomniac!AU and are an all female Pinkypool protection squad. (Trans women are welcome!)

In the insomniac AU, Whitney is attempting to become a pop idol, and therefore sees it necessary to have a proper entourage to keep her company and protect her. Thus, she selected some of her biggest fans to become her personal bodyguards.

The Pinkypoolers do not have a healing factor, yet wear a more durable, and more traditional, Deadpool suit. They carry the same weapons as Whitney, but use more heavy firearms. They also wear black suits to help Whitney stand out more.

Outside of just being there for protection, they act as a support group and fan club! There are about 20 of them, who each go by codenames revolving around different shades of pink. They sometimes as cheerleaders, SpideyPink shippers, and even choreograph as backup dancers for her shows. The Pinkypoolers will also be assigned to do menial labor like cook, clean, do stage work, act as social media managers, do taxes, and overall everything that Whitney doesn't care to do.

But she loves them all dearly and genuinely has a soft spot for the Pinkypoolers. Whitney doesn't do well in teams, so she feels more confident forming her own with like-minded people.

And Venom! He scares her!

But she has a tolerance to webs due to being around Spidey, as well as blood and gore considering she works as a mercenary so things like that she experiences daily. Especially considering she's experienced a lot of brutal injury. She's grown unphased by it.

Bugs and mean people often scare her, as well as just handling things on her own. She likes having someone Spidey to look after her.

The Flowers Died Monday

Summary: Peter Parker finds himself at his best friend Whitney Wilson's place, where he was going to enjoy some food with her, until he realizes the flowers on her dinner table are dead. Find out next what Peter does by reading this delightfully short story about the amazing Spiderman, Peter Parker, and the adorable Pinkypool, Whitney Wilson, in her pre-mutation life!

Notes: Hiii everyone! So here's a TASM!Whitney and Peter fanfic if you don't know who Whitney is, she is my friend's self-insert! I love this self ship so dearly and they're the reason I've gotten back into writing! So here is some Spideypink for y'all to consume!!! This is a gift for @lady-nuggetz

Nock Nock Nock

Whitney makes her way over to the door, opens it, and is surprised to find her closest friend! Well, her only friend. "Peter! Oh, I didn't expect to be seeing you here. Uh, what are you doing here?" She questions him happily.

"Oh, um, I was just in the neighborhood and thought I'd stop by! I-if you don't mind, of course." Peter sheepishly responds, looking at Whintey's adorable Hello Kitty pajama, getting distracted by a small little kitty wobbling up to the door. Whitney notices his attention going elsewhere, so she looks down to see Wiggles near her feet. Making her smile seeing her baby here to greet their guest!

Bending down, she picks up Wiggles and shows her to Peter, letting the baby kitten say it's hi to him. "Oh, look who it is, wiggles! I can't believe you made your way over here to greet our guest!" Whitney exclaimed with joy. "She says, hi Peter!" Instead, Wiggles stares at him.

Peter giggles at Wiggles' plain stare, not a thought behind that little kitty's eyes. "Hi there, Wiggles!" Peter says in a baby voice as he reaches to pet her. Finally, the kitten lets out a meow, expressing its contentment with the pet, but not too long after, it starts wiggling its little legs, wanting to be free.

"Looks like that's my cue," Whitney giggles as she gently puts Wiggles back down. The little kitty wobbles out of view, and Whitney gestures for Peter to come in. He follows behind her into the kitchen, sitting down in a nearby chair. Whitney resumes her previous activities. She stirs the noodles in the pot before reaching for a bowl. It features Hello Kitty and Friends, a classic for Whitney to own.

"I was making some Ramen for myself. Would you like some?" She politely asks, glancing over at Peter. To which he nodded in return, "I would love to have some!" Whitney pulls out another bowl, this time featuring Spiderman, for Peter to eat out of. Peter can't help but laugh softly under his breath at how ironic it is for him to be eating out of a Spiderman bowl. He turns around and faces the table, greeted by the magical Wiggles, who somehow appeared on the table patiently waiting. He looks at how nicely the table is and notices the flowers in the center—suddenly getting distracted by the Spidey bowl of ramen that's now in front of him. Whitney sets another bowl down for Wiggles and returns to the kitchen to grab her bowl.

"Oh, I didn't know Wiggles was gonna be joining us for food," Peter says, surprised. "Also surprised how she managed to get onto the table when I wasn't looking," he whispers under his breath.

"Well, why wouldn't she?! She deserves to eat! She always eats at the same time as me." Whitney sassily responded to him as if she was offended by Peter not expecting the kitten to eat with them. Sitting down next to Peter with her food, she starts to slurp her ramen. Swinging side to side to express her contentment with the food.

Peter looks back over at the flowers; they're dead roses. The petals are much darker than usual. He watches as a petal falls off the flower before asking about the flowers. "Oh, those? They're flowers my parents got me to tell me they'll be away for a bit. They died on Monday. I suppose I haven't had a chance to clean them up. Sorry!" Whitney Says with an almost somber tone. To which Peter abruptly stands up from his chair without a word is gone.

Whitney looks over at Wiggles, confused. Wiggles face covered in food and let out a small meow. Making Whitney giggle, "That sure was weird, right Wiggles? Here, let's get you cleaned up." Picking up a napkin and wiping off Wiggles' face.

A couple of minutes later, there was knocking on the door again. Whitney sets down her fork, looking at Wiggles. "That must be Peter; his food is gonna be cold now, probably." she gets up and walks over to the door, opening it. "Peter! You can't just abruptly leave like that. You made me worried. Plus, your ramen is cold now!" Whitney lectures him before realizing he's standing at her door with new flowers. Pink and White Peonies, Beautifully arranged in a bouquet tied with a matching pink bow.

"I thought a lovely lady like you deserved some flowers that aren't dead." Peter says with a sincere tone, handing the flower to Whitney. "Oh my goodness, thank you so much, Peter," Whitney says, slightly tearing up as she looks at the flowers now in her hands.

Another ask I had to rewrite in my notes app because I forgot Cali wifi is buns and hates when I do anything.

I LOVE THIS IDEA. I thought about it I just needed to publically talk about why I like it!

And I know the art you're talking about, my friend Limbo made it for art fight and I adore it so much, genuinely they're so talented one of my favorite pieces of these two lowekey AAUUGHH.

Insomniac!Whitney is a pop star IN TRAINING, so an actual pop star Whitney seems like such fun.

It's her primary job outside of being a mercenary, though she gets a fun thrill out of it, her main calling is making music and being the most gorgeous girl queen pop idol imaginable! She's giving Nicki's pop star era and I love it, I already think of her sm when it comes to Whitney.

And as for Peter, me personally, I imagine him not as an interviewer, but as a photographer for Whitney. He managed to bump himself up from newspaper photographer to working with Whitney's crew. He does a majority of her photo shoots as she thinks of him as her favorite photographer to work with. Fashion magazines, promotional material, product placement, the works, Whitney would pitch him an idea and he'd get to work quick.

Also cause... admitedly he's a fan. He keeps copies of her photos for more than just his portfolio. Their work is mainly professional so he's never asked her for anything more than just a couple pictures. Occasionally she does offer to let him come with her to events or spend some down time together after shoots but ofc, it's nothing more.

HOWEVER, Spider-Man is a different story. He'd be more willing to try and get together with her, especially once he learns of her heavy heavy crush on him. He could tell her he's a fan of her music and she's be squeaking for DAYS, she's try and invite him to a concert ASAP on some VIP shit.

And even when they're back at work the day after and Whitney doesn't notice a thing, Peter is still riding off that high.

That's all I've got for this idea atm, but GOD it was fun to concoct!
