you know what's a bowuigi au i would love to see? office au.

bowser being the ceo of some big company, bored out of his mind by the paper pushing and overall monotony, only to perk up when he meets with the new secretary he hired. luigi saw the ad for a secretarial position, and, wanting to have a side job that was a bit more steady then plumbing, ends up getting hired due to his more quiet nature. plus, it'll be refreshing to wear some of his nicer clothes without the fear of getting them grimy.

luigi is happy to have a hefty and steady source of income that's close to a pretty handsome boss. bowser, meanwhile, is about to crack the handle of his coffee mug because luigi's shirt is unbuttoned and he gets to see his entire clavicle, on top of the fact that his pants are new and hug close to his hips.

the entire office is already taking bets on when they're gonna get together.

Mario Fankid Headcanons: Matteo

Yup... moar headcanons of these babies! Next up on our list... MATTY:

Yeah... his design isn't all that flashy, I know (note to self: give him a better outfit) but say hello to Matty! Now lezz get into some headcanons!

As I mentioned in my Fia headcanons, Matteo is a twin (like Mario and Luigi are). He's about seven minutes younger than his big brother Luca.

Unlike his brother and baby sister, Matty is the quietest one of the bunch. Many often think he's the shy one, but they're sorely mistaken. He likes meeting new people, but he prefers to listen rather than talk (much like his mama). But the second you start talking about one of his interests, he could go on for HOURS.

Like his daddy and uncle, he and Luca are SUPER close with each other! They are each others' best friends, but their relationship is more like "You wanna do some dumb stuff together?" "YES." As you can probably already guess... these two get into all kinds of trouble. Matty's the brains behind the operation, and Luca's the muscle. And this drives Mario and Peach up the wall trying to keep them from constantly blowing something up.

He's also close with his baby sister due to their shared interest in fairytales. There's been times where he's snuck out of his shared bedroom with Luca and into Fia's with a book, leaving one of their parents to find them snuggled up together and passed out with that same book still open. He also loves playing "Princesses and Dragons" with her (him being a scary dragon most of the time, but he's down with being a princess or a prince!)

He's a mama's boy to the MAX. One of his favorite things to do is read all kinds of books with Peach and just snuggle up to her whenever he feels like it (and you best believe girlfriend is MELTING when he does). Peach's day isn't started until she feels a tiny thing hugging her in bed and whispering, "Morning, mommy...!"

On that note, like the rest of his siblings, he's Mario's BIGGEST fan. Rather than beg him to bring him on adventures or practice being like him, he instead pesters his daddy to tell him stories about his adventures, which Mario is more than happy to share! As of now, his favorite one is where Mario had to defeat Bowser while the castle was all the way up in space... speaking of space!

Matty is OBSESSED with space! He loves anything space-related, and he could go on and on about all the things he's learned about it. You best believe that when he met Lumalee, the little guy went absolutely NUTS. (Ahem... I also like space, so bit of projection here 🤭)

And finally, Matty has an affinity for fish, specifically the super colorful ones like parrotfish, mandarinfish, bettas, any kinds! He's the only one of his siblings to own a proper pet (a little betta fish named Pietri). (No... it's not favoritism on the parents' part here. Fia wants a unikitty and refuses anything else besides that, and Luca... er... I'll explain in his headcanon post 😅)

Mario Fankid Headcanons: Fia

Okay… apologies for the wait. Had to dig up my old sketches of these guys and write all this down (and school stuff in between 😅), but hey! Water under the bridge.

For convenience, I'll start of with Mario and Peach’s babies, lol. I'm gonna go youngest to oldest with these, so we'll start with Fia!

(Fun fact: Fia's actually my personal favorite, lol.) Let's get into some headcanons! Yeah... I wrote some down up there, but I'll get into more detail here, lol

Fia's (3 yrs.) the youngest of Mario and Peach's three kids, being 2 years younger than her older twin brothers (5 yrs.). She is exactly how you'd imagine a three-year-old is... just amp it up by x10.

Fia prides herself as "the baby" of the family, and she makes sure everyone knows it. She has quite the attitude (doesn't help that she got Mario's stubbornness). She's very defiant in practically EVERYTHING she does, and she is quite proud of herself.

Despite this, she is a sweetheart. She loves meeting new people and loves telling them stories about... basically everything from unicorns to "Big Stupid Bowser." And just like Mario, she gives the best hugs.

Fia's not shy about getting into trouble like her brothers... she's just better at getting away with it! Literally, all she has to do is put on her best puppy-dog eyes (a few tears for added benefit) and say "🥺 I'm sowwy dwaddyyyyy... 🥺" And this works. Every. Single. Time.

She's a total fashionista like her parents, but she's very unconventional. If Peach so much as tries to pick out some nice clothes for her, Fia protests that she can do it herself... which leads to some interesting combinations (a tutu, overalls, and rainboots, for one; a ripped, frilly pink dress to a fancy event with mud stains, that sorta thing). She also comes up with some interesting hairstyle choices, such as a literal half-up half-down ponytail (which is her favorite) and also putting actual candies in her hair like barrettes. You can imagine the many headaches this gives Peach in the morning...

She's a complete daddy's girl with Mario. She has that man wrapped around her tiny finger tight. Mario is a total softie with her and dotes on her like the little princess she is: doing her hair (she's the only one who lets him), having tea parties with her, and just making her laugh with his myriad of dad jokes. He also has a hard time saying no to her, especially with her 'please' face. She looks up to her dad in pretty much EVERY aspect, including adventuring. Every time he and Luigi have to go out and fight some baddie, you best believe she's begging them to let her tag along. This is the one thing Mario adamantly refuses to let her do (understandably).

As much as she and Peach quarrel over her attire, they love each other dearly. Both being girly girls, they love spending time with each other and playing with makeup, nail polish, and all sorts of dresses. One of their favorite things is relaxing out in the sun together all snuggled up before falling asleep.

Fia is OBSESSED with dolls. This girl has an entire separate room dedicated to dolls and she loves every single one of them. Porcelain, sewn, crocheted, you name it, she probably has it!

On that note, Fia lives to annoy her older brothers endlessly. Matty is a bit more tolerable, but she and Luca butt heads on a daily basis. Peach and Mario have become accustomed to the sound of a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old screaming at each other, and they usually just pull them apart (kinda like Bart and Lisa Simpson, lol).

A lot of Fia's games consist of either her parading around the castle like a beautiful princess (with Mario and Luigi playing along as her fellow princesses, of course) or defeating "Big Stupid Bowser" (aka: Mario saying roar and acting "mean")

And finally, one of Fia's biggest dreams is to own a Unikitty... a unicorn cat. Her parents have tried persuading her to choose something else, but she's adamant that once she "gets grown" she's going to buy a Unikitty and name it Captain FluffyPink. She's... very imaginative.
