watch kipo on netflix! i cannot stress this enough my dudes! all the main characters are poc and one of them is explicitly gay! also the story, animation and soundtrack are all a+ but netflix is trying to sweep it under the rug! support it so it can get a season 2!!!!!!

the difference bewteen voltron’s shitty queer rep vs tdp’s decent-ish queer rep:

voltron hyped adam to hell and back, causing fans to believe that adam would at least have some plot relevance and importance to shiro’s character only to give him less that 5 minutes of screen time (hell, maybe even less) before killing him off

that’s queerbaiting.

promising the fandom with an lgbt character to pull in views only to kill him off mere seconds after being introduced is the literal definition of the bury your gays trope.

if vld didnt say anything about adam and left fans to speculate, then nobody would have cared.

tdp didnt hype any of their queer characters up , and they introduced the queens of duren as a regular monarch couple. rayla explicitly says that runaan has a husband (something that vld failed to do spectacularly).

i will admit killing the queens off was kinda disappointing but they’re regarded as legends afterwards, while adam is forgotten so easily.

kipo and the age of wonderbeasts handled having a gay character amazingly.

benson comes out in the most casual way, and kipo doesnt make a huge deal out of it.

Y’all need to watch kipo and the age of wonderbeasts

Tangled the series has ended. Steven universe is over. She ra is ending in a few months. For those of you that want a new show to obsess over….look no further.

It’s a post-post-apocalypse setting with one of the most interesting worlds I’ve ever seen in a tv show.

Some good points:

- soundtrack SLAPS. It’s similar to the soundtrack for into the spiderverse and includes some original songs like in steven universe and adventure time

- all the main human characters are poc

- One of the main characters (I won’t spoil who) is LGBTQ+ and straight up says it.

- It has some great friendships and found family dynamics

- Beautiful color pallet and amazing, interesting world

- really interesting storyline tHaT nEeDs a SEaSoN 2

- There’s lumberjack cats and wolves that rap about space

- conflicts are solved non-violently

I’ve never seen a show like this and I really want to see it continue. Please give it a watch, it’s really good.

My biggest problem with seventeen’s mvs, teasers and official announcements now being uploaded on bighit labels’ channel is the flood of armys we’re gonna get in the comments saying, “I’m an army but I support svt because they’re under the same channel as bts💜😊”.

Like please stop, it’s rude to the group who have worked so hard to release these songs. You need to like them for THEMSELVES. Imagine working so hard just to be supported as a good deed. It’s like saying: I only like Bianca cuz she’s friends with Sasha. Bianca isn’t treated equally in this scenario, you get what I mean?!!!

If the fact that they’re under bighit now got you to become interested in the group, and you’ve checked out their songs and LIKED them, then can you say you support. Dont support them JUST because they work with bts now.
