have the king die in some crash explosion thing or whatever, she gets named as the next leader (idk whether the king would have like a will or some shit or if it’d just be promotion via public opinion but whatever), have her express some feelings about it because despite being a great leader she’s allowed to have emotions and insecurities, saw, lux and ahsoka assure her that she’ll be a brilliant leader because despite being a great leader she’s allowed to need support from her friends and family, she walks off with saw and lux towards the capital as ahsoka watches them go from the ship she’s leaving on as the Dramatic Final Moment, cut to credits

can you imagine how horrifying it would be around the end of tlj to realise that your father is dead, your mother is dead (probably bc mothers in star wars have no rights), your uncle is dead, your aunt probably isn’t in good shape, and the only living family you have access to is a totalitarian monster
