“We’ve broken up four or five times already.  But lately things have been great, we’ve been talking on the phone every night.  And she’s the one who suggested I come visit her.  So I’m thinking, great, we’ll spend a few days together, hang out, maybe have a little physical connection.  I bought a ticket on the Greyhound.  The ride was eight hours.  I did get some sleep, I will say that.  And after I arrived, she allowed me to come over for like thirty minutes.  Her Jamaican stepfather wasn’t allowing more than that.  But I’m thinking: ‘No problem.  It’s just the first night.’  We agree to see a movie the next evening.  I show up at her house right on time, and out she comes with her sister!  What’s going on here?  I’m not dating her sister.  And I’ve got to pay for three tickets now?  Luckily I was smart and loaded up on Dunkin Donuts before the movie.  But her sister is ordering popcorn, soda, nachos.  And this is a Regal Cinema, so that’s a full $20 order. I played it cool.  Acted like it wasn’t a big deal.  And when the movie ended, we made plans to spend Saturday together.  But then she says: ‘As long as it doesn’t snow.’  And of course it snows.  Half an inch.  Didn’t even stick.  But she refused to come outside.  Didn’t want to ‘get sick.’  So I just went out drinking and passed out on the floor of my friend’s apartment.  My bus was supposed to leave this morning, but they cancelled it because of weather.  So I just sent her a text.  She’s off work today.  Maybe she’ll hang out with me.“

I visited the most beautiful place this Easter holiday. My very thoughtful lover thought I worked too much and I needed a vacation 🙂 , At first I just though he was joking he can be silly so I never paid too much attention but he planned the most amazing two-day trip for us. I was astonished and I had to pinch myself a few times…

We started our trip at the coast, climbed a boat ride, saw breathtaking views, had amazing tasty food, oh yeah room service and being treated like a queen, the relaxing pool, the clean clear beaches, the sunsets &  lastly the bright romantic full moon… simply the change in environment made me feel like a million dollars!

The simple BNB – hotel was not easy to find, we got lost but we eventually found it, owned by two italians , man and his wife. They were sweet and had wine with us and the decor was African and modern with lovely hues of grey , browns and wood. I loved it. They had a kitchen and made us special italian dinners and fresh fish for the days we stayed. Check it out.

wine-tasting event we went last-minute and got a free dinner from a lady who won the Golf tournament at the hotel.

  The beach was so clean and clear when we went for a dip , I didn’t take my phone so I don’t have any photos ( but you can google beaches in Zanzibar to see for yourself, or simply visit).  Or better yet Let me describe it for you.

The journey to the beach took 2-3 minutes and the blue sky met the blue ocean from afar, the shore line had no weeds just a few smaller water pools because it was a low tide and the water was a little far away at noon , the sun was shinning and it was humid. We could even see the anchored boats and their anchors on the sand , the boasts were rusty and broken down, there were other people, mostly foreigners in the water.

As soon as I entered the water I couldn’t feel the heat anymore, the water was cool and sandy, I could see the little transparent fish through the water so you can imagine how clear it was! anyway we didn’t stay too long because we didn’t want to get a tan, lol!.

Lastly the pool was so cute, I want one day. I was too relaxed , I am thankful and highly blessed.

How We Feeling..

A Tattoo is a drawing on  human body parts, The use of a needle and ink is a must to get a certain illustration.  Here is a little history from Wikipedia

Tatoo’s are taboo in many places because of association it has with gangs I guess and weird people but it is ART and don’t start judging because everyone has the freedom of self-expression  and some think body ink is the right way to go. I personally don’t have one yet and I love them on people, especially ones with hidden meaning about themselves and their life journeys .

For the longest time I’ve wanted a dying rose with petals falling off tatoo, Shoker I know! one day I told a friend who got shocked and said that was a little morbid, lol anyway I wanted it because roses were my mum’s favorite flowers and when she passed away I felt like I was the rose that was dying, you know I felt a little lost at a certain time in my life anyway… I never got it because 1. I couldn’t afford one 2. I wanted a small flawless one so the artist must be amazing 3. I was afraid of being judged when I looked for a job and all , so I’m still looking for a place to get one but not sure if I will still get the dying rose, time has passed, I’ve healed and I’ve moved on.

I have researched tattoo’s and their meanings so that if I ever get one I don’t ever offend anyone also I don’t want to put something and later find out it was a bad word or something  like those chines or Arabic written tattoos  imagine that!

some are just plain crazy, This is why if you have a tattoos people look at you like your evil or a maniac, why choose these though???!!!! hahaha anyway you never know what they are trying to express so I wont judge but huge ones where people can see right away or facial tattoos are a No No for me. So four years ago I started blogging in Word press, I started  blogging because of my new job at the time and I wanted to learn to put content online and I wanted to do it organically (without any advertising) to see if I could write things people may enjoy reading and eventually share..

I had started blogging with Blogger first and I deleted my blogger account and moved to nicer themes and easier to edit platform here in WordPress. I haven’t left yet and I don’t blog as I used to four years ago, although I think I may move to more fun platforms like you tube maybe? ha ha I’m not sure I can record & talk to myself and post , I can be very shy! lol any way we shall see what the future holds..

So as I reach 4 years this week I would like to say thank you to all my viewers where ever you are. My viewers come from all over the world guys, I’m so happy and blessed to be able to reach you .I hope you keep enjoying my posts..

Tanzanian model Happiness who struggled with the disease called Endometriosis got her miracle baby finally! Our super model, Millen Magese has overcome several years of Endometriosis and we are happy for her as she welcomed her son, Kairo last year.

I wrote a blog post on her struggles before, she has inspired many women around Africa and the world to never give up and keep fighting! If you want to see that post click here.

Let’s keep asking doctors for a permanent cure for this ugly disease. No one deserves to be in so much pain for so long! Hey guys, lately I’ve been feeling very insecure/ in self doubt/ uncertain and I hate it!

I have realized this is something I usually do in my daily life, relationships and even at work! I often start thinking that I don’t deserve it and I give up before I even give myself a chance to try.  I am about to try to find out how I can change this and I thought I’d share since I’m sure there is someone somewhere is also going through the same thing. Please let me know on the comments how you have overcome..

I have been comparing myself to others, yes im going to be very open because I really want to find out about my issues and why I always get into unhealthy lifestyles and end up depressed and feeling stupid or unworthy. So  I started with the meaning ..

Why am I insecure? 

If you wonder why you are insecure, there is probably a time in your childhood where someone significant, or someone you valued, made you feel not good enough. You internalized it and carried it around like a backpack. The bigger unfortunate, the same person set you on a course to find people who disapprove so you convince them that you are worthy of love. So I started trying to figure out who made me feel not good enough in my childhood .. I grew up thinking I wasn’t pretty enough, smart enough, sporty enough, social enough, rich enough … I guess growing up isn’t as easy as most people think.

“But while it’s quite normal to have feelings of self-doubt once in a while, chronic insecurity can sabotage your success in life and can be particularly damaging to your intimate relationships.” So basically I realized it wasn’t just jealousy when I snoop my partners phone haha.. anyway that’s nonsense , what if you find what you’re looking for in there? stay away from peoples privacy!

The majority of insecurity is based on irrational thoughts and fears—that you are not good enough, that you will not be OK without a partner, that you will never find anyone better, that you are not truly lovable.  These are the BIG lies we tell ourselves, so STOP! right now and get over yourself. Stop feeling like you are not worthy because everyone deserves to be happy, You are the only one responsible for your life  and everything will eventually work out no matter how tough the process may be for you.

DO the following:

When you feel insecure, you are often focused on something you feel is lacking about you; In order to feel more secure in a relationship it helps to know what you have to offer to the other person. You don’t have to be rich or beautiful to offer something—personality characteristics are far more important to the overall quality of a relationship. Think about the traits you have as a person—you may be nice, trustworthy, funny, kind, or a good communicator.

Also you can do this exercise: Keep a pad of paper next to your bed and every night before you go to sleep, write down three things you liked about yourself that day. In the morning, read the list before you get out of bed. Keep adding 3 new things to your list everyday to keep the list growing.Do this everyday for 30 days.

Stop thinking you are so important. The problem many insecure people have is they, and I hate to sound mean because I don’t mean it this way, think too much of themselves. Truthfully, humans are pretty self-absorbed creatures.

Ask yourself why you don’t deserve the same piece of the pie. Insecure people don’t think enough of themselves to think other people like them or that they deserve good things. If you are insecure, you should figure out what it is about yourself that you don’t think is worthy of love or good things.

Finding people in your life who are selfish and only take, without providing you feelings of security, only further adds fuel to your insecure fire. Choose people who aren’t self-absorbed and give back as much as they take

I used to hate this trend honestly but iv found ways to look gorge in them.. basically when you wear ripped jeans you look casual, rough so always accessorize to make it look more aligned & put together and it can make you look amazingly fashionable.

Things like Heels, bags, blazers will make the look acceptable and classy ..,,..just simply don’t over do the rips on the jeans and you will be safe. Be it a tight skinny jeans, denim shorts or even baggy boyfriend jeans will look amazing!

Fridays have never been so cute… I rarely wear heels though I wish I hated comfort more and maybe I would also look this fly! Of course keep in mind your career and work attire, Police, lawyers etc..cant dress to work in these.

Wow your friends today and make ripped jeans cute with a nice heels and a great comfortable blazer. The top should also be minimum (not many patterns and prints) so that you can balance the ripped jeans and also to highlight the jeans more.

Please don’t this! I personally think it just looks bad when  you over do it. My rule for dressing these trendy Jeans is don’t have too many rips on the jeans , don’t have too much skin showing and also please Don’t over do on the prints or accessories as well…. too much of anything is harmful they say!  lol. So I LOOVVEEE Christmas but that’s not what this article is about, I wanted to give some clueless people like me what to buy as gifts for their loved ones in this beautiful season.

The gift giving tradition has been there in my family since I was a little girl and I sat on Black Santa’s lap and received my Huge boxes of presents that were usually toys, fairy-tale novels, board games and cloths. Yes I was very lucky because most kids don’t really get any gifts, I was highly favored so every Christmas I try giving out gifts to my closest people simply because I love the feeling I get when they enjoy the gift so..

So my first tip to great gifts is to know what the person likes; do they like music? Movies?reading? Art? Sports? beauty? tech ?  This will help you categorize and you can get them anything really as long as its in that theme e.g. someone who likes music can get a T-shirt with musical instruments or their favorite artist on it etc..  dnt worry I will give you hint on gifts that anyone will like just in case you don’t know the person very well.. read on..

Lets start with kids, They should always get  gifts! don’t you agree? buy them anything; Toys, Games, Clothes and also you can also get them books – To read is a great culture since nowadays kids spend most time on screens, if not TV, it’s the PC if not the PC its the phone, tab etc the future generation should learn form past experiences to be better and what better way than through books …and kindle tabs for tech sake lol..

Know anyone who likes being in the kitchen? This is for the ones who love everything food.. they will love these things trust me.

For the novel readers I saw this cool book holders/stand …I don’t know the exact name guys but what you think of this ?? fancy huh! I call it the superhero stand! This is an example of a unique gift, anyone who had books will surely love this.

  For technology lovers/ geeks: nowadays we have so many gadgets and everyone is into them from kids to old men. I want someone to disagree on this please in the comments… IL be waiting!! anyway my current faves are the cute water-resistant cameras that print a hard copy in 3 minutes! the iPhone x if you have money, wireless speakers, mac laptops… etc. There are so many kinds its tough to decide!

For your partner: I think I would get Perfume I like for him because I like a great smelling man, a watch he admires, or if he’s a shirt guy cuff-links will make him smile every time he wears them in the morning..

For you! yes you read right get yourself something too , love yourself! I’m sure you have been good , right? Santa is smiling at you and you deserve it , get something you really like and will enjoy.. wink….

Lastly for today if you can’t decide what gift to get simply buy a gift card from a store they love and let them choose or  visit near gift shop or supermarkets where they have gift baskets you can choose from in different themes e.g. candles, wines, junk food etc!

All in all In my country Christmas is a day for family after church we all hang out and eat till we bust! Giving gifts So I LOOVVEEE Christmas but that's not what this article is about, I wanted to give some clueless people like me what to buy as gifts for their loved ones in this beautiful season.

Hey guys, so when I was done with High school I had a double date mountain climbing getaway experience for the first time… sounds romantic right? wrong!

Have you ever walked so much all day that your feet can’t keep going anymore?

You know the feeling that makes you want to just sit down you feel like going back will be closer that to keep going ahead?

Have you ever walked on an edge, if you slipped you dropped to your definite death?

But all in all being with nature can be quite exhilarating and fun, very relaxing and the weather up at the top was so fresh and cool, and very cold. The company I went with crazy funny, we tried not to talk too much though we finished our energy, lol. The best part was when we could see the road that went all the way to other regions which was so far away . Especially at night the view was most beautiful i think, the clear stars above, the breeze on my face and the lights on the city below, looking down that’s how we released how high up we actually were!

I wish I had a better camera back then I lost the memory card u had saved them in. anyway google has us covered , here are a few pictures:

The hiking took 2 days to reach top site and the first stop we had been right across a waterfall.. yes it was so green and the water noise was loud but you get used to it after some time. there was Rasta who maintained the camp and had his house with 3 wives just 10 minutes away. I know that was crazy anyway we had a fire, cooked, told stories but we were beat and slept early, next day the hike continued.

The second and final stop we had been at a place the Germans build way back when they colonized our country (yes way back) , an old house years old that was at the top and we slept inside. The house was in bad condition, at least the chimney still worked .You see we didn’t know we needed tents see below in image some smart guys carried tents…  Also they had the Biggest Rats and they had extended families in there no joke. When night-time came that’s when it was scary, The tour guide told us stories that the dead Germans haunted the house so sleep wasn’t easy to come by even after a whole bottle of wine a shots of brandy.. hahaha the good memories.

hello guys,

So when you start a new class or school, get into a new relationship, get a new job, move into a new house or city  how do you feel? yes I know its scary… uncomfortable even unsettling (my tummy gets weird sensations and am not even sick!) because you don’t know what to expect and all you can do is wait for it to actually become normal.

One day at a time is what I tell my self, although it isn’t easy… I know you have felt that way at a time in your life. I know it has to happen to everyone eventually you can’t always be ready, adjust to new issues. Do you agree? i’ve been feeling this way lately, lots of changes have occurred in my career. Got a new Job and this brought many new challenges, personal life & relationships were broken.. new began and sometimes its nice to remind yourself that it will eventually all fall into place and it will be okay.

Don’t worry if you haven’t experienced fear of next step in your life. You will eventually…..and one thing im sure is that most, if not all endings always lead to better beginnings ! This is what iv learned from all these years of  starting anew so no need to be anxious , let it sink in because everything that happens is happening for a reason, to either learn and grow or even change for the better.

There is a song I love that says your never ready for change no matter how much you’ve planned you will be shocked because its something you’ve never experienced before. Its like a fresh start, your starting a clean sweep !
