A few drabbles, please.About when the GoM and Hanamiya's s/o first reveals to them that she has a prosthetic leg. Not from an accident, but a birth defect called amelia, and is basically missing below one knee. Keeps her legs covered (stockings, tights, long skirts, pants) not out of shame, but to keep from drawing unwanted attention to it.

Akashi:"(f/n)... Don't let other people dictate you and your identity. This life is too short to be concerned with other people's judgement - yes, okay I know we won't experience anything longer than our lives, but the point still stands.. you're beautiful, inside and out, prosthetic leg or not. Anyone who disagrees is simply not worth your time or effort."

Aomine: “Hah.. and here I was thinking you just didn’t like how your legs looked. If you hadn’t told me, I really wouldn’t have known.. I’m really not attentive at all, am I? You gotta tell me these things, (f/n). You know I’ll always stand by you, no matter what. So would it be a bad time for me to say Satsuki’s been dying to take you clothes shopping? Yeah, yeah, but don’t let her buy anything you don’t like! You know how she is..”

Hanamiya: “I mean, I suspected something was up but I didn’t think it’d be that you wear a prosthetic. What, no, what the hell? Of course it doesn’t bother me, why would something like that change my opinion of you? As long as you’re still you, everything’s fine. But you could’ve told me before, yknow.. I feel bad that I couldn’t help you back then. But I’ll always be by your side, so you can rely on me, yeah? Oh god, that sounded like something straight from a shoujo manga..”

Kise: “Hey, (f/n)cchi, why are you looking at me like that? You know can trust me with anything.. you know I won’t think of you differently for something you have no control over.. I love you for you- ah, you’re crying?! Don’t cry, I’m just telling the truth.. We can go shopping tomorrow, if you’d like? If you’re comfortable with it, I know you’d look super cute in summer dress! ”

Kuroko:"Oh, (f/n), I'm sorry you felt like you couldn't tell me before, but I understand. Whenever there's something that's troubling you, you can tell me, okay? I'll always be here to listen- I am the shadow, after all... don't laugh, was it really that cringe-worthy? Anyway, I'll respect whatever decision you choose, for your comfort. If you want to only wear trousers and long skirts, so be it. But don't feel as if you're doing it for other people. You should do what you want, wear what you want, and if people are that uncomfortable with the idea of a prosthetic leg, I'll fight them - what do you mean, I'd get beaten up...?"

Murasakibara: “Ehh~ (f/n)-chin, that’s kinda serious, you should’ve told me before… I feel bad for not being able to help you, but if you ever get tired, I’ll give you a piggy back~ It must be really tough to wear a prosthetic all day, so I’ll give you a special massage, okay? And you can have some of my expensive snacks, just this once. Don't think that this'll be a regular thing, it's just 'cuz I'm happy you told me something so important.. ”

Midorima: “You’ve been wearing it even when we’re alone…? Are you okay? Is it irritating your skin? When it’s just the two of us, you don’t need to keep up appearances… I’m glad you trusted me enough to tell me about your leg, (f/n). Don’t strain yourself too hard from now on.”

Gom's S/o is a famous basketball player and she just cama back from six months training in the us. They don't know she's back, and she decides to surprise them (bonus points if someone from their team is a fanboy of hers)

Akashi: he’s very tempted to go over to America with you, because he’s not too sure how he’ll cope without seeing you for so long. In the end, you persuade him that it won’t be that bad (you lied - it was terrible for both of you). He wants to know all the details of your arrival, so it’s a bit annoying when you won’t tell him anything. When he goes in for practice the next day, it’s utter chaos; Hayama is jumping up and down, Nebuya is shouting about meat and even Reo is blabbering on about something Akashi can’t quite catch. He should’ve known you were behind it all, but he’s over the moon. All he sees is you, and he wants to make up for lost time.

Aomine: he fills the days you aren’t around with basketball, and you’re surprised to hear he’s actually been going to every practice and then some. You’re too busy to talk regularly, but he makes sure that he gets to hear your your voice at least once a week, and sends a lot of texts, too. One day he’s late for practice and can already hear Wakamatsu moaning in his ear, but turns out it’s Sakurai apologising for god knows what. Aomine turns the corner and sees you telling Sakurai, yes, you’ve missed him too, now please stop with the apologising? Aomine sweeps you up and you laugh - it’s not the surprise you’d planned but it’s good enough.

Kise: it was pretty common for you both to be away, with various schedules and such, but six months was a damn long time. Kise would tell anyone and everyone about how much he missed you, and would always make sure to call you at night. When you burst in on practice one day, he has to rub his eyes to make sure it’s actually you, and earns a basketball to the head due to his awe. He’ll immediately go and hug you, and may even shed a tear (or five).

Kuroko: no one would have known, but your absence had really affected him. He would think about you a lot, especially when he sees something that he thinks you’d particularly like. When he walks into the gym and sees you shouting at his teammates to train harder (they were super happy to see you so didn’t mind so much), he smiles so much - you’re home.

Midorima: he definitely does not miss you, not at all. He doesn’t text you your ranking on Oha Asa every day (because you won’t check otherwise) or buy your lucky item when he's getting his own. The rest of the team have noticed how weird Midorima’s acting, even for him. So they decide to plan a little thing with you for him upon your arrival. Takao and Miyaji persuade Midorima into going to Maji Burger with them, and guess what? You’re sitting there, ever so casually, sipping on a milkshake. Ootsubo and Kimura are there too, and you manage to pull a party popper. Midorima’s shocked that a) you’re here, and b) his team would do such a thing, no matter how small it seemed. 

Murasakibara: he’s gotten so used to your presence that it just feels weird when you’re not around, but as long as you come back soon, it’s okay, right? Well, that’s what he tells himself at least. One time he catches Himuro speaking to you over Skype, and he gets a bit jealous because why weren’t you talking to him? It’s only when you come back with half a suitcase full of American sweets does he understand, and kisses you instantly, because “(name)-chin tastes much better than any sweet~”

Akashi: he is unfazed, because it’s damn Akashi Seijuurou, why would he be fazed by something like this? He does become slightly more worried when he thinks of all he things you could be doing in his body, but he’s hoping you don’t try to ride Yukimaru then fall off or something. He finds you (him?) in the family library, which he really should’ve expected; count on you to do the one thing you love even when in his body.

Aomine: it’s a dream come true. He finally has boobs, and doesn’t stop to wonder how such a thing is even possible. About 90% of the time is spent feeling up his new boobs, and he doesn’t even think to consult you until he sees all the missed calls and texts telling him to leave your boobs alone.

Kise: he spends a lot of time… feeling around, if you will, and a lot more time taking selfies. He finds it’s really fun being you, and even going about his life as you - well, your life really, but no one knows. You call him hours later and he finds you’ve been doing much of the same, along with posting a few of the weird snaps he sent you on his various social media.

Kuroko: the first thing he does is call you, and as he makes his way to your house, it’s surprising how much his presence has increased by being in your body. It also means he’s a lot clumsier, bumping into people every few steps. When he finally gets to your house, it takes a while before he actually finds you - Kuroko now understands why people don’t notice him even when he’s right in front of them.

Midorima: weird is the only way he can describe it. It feels like he’s invading your privacy completely and he wants out. He’s guessing it has something to do with Cancer being last on Oha Asa, although that doesn’t really describe how the laws of science have been broken in such a way.

Murasakibara: his first thought is that he wants snacks, and then the second is, why am I so damn short? He does take advantage of his new stature, though - it makes going through door frames a lot easier. He is a bit startled when he sees himself/you walk into the kitchen and subsequently bang your head on the door frame, but hey. You can get the snacks for him now.

Somehow, it’d become somewhat of a tradition for their little group of eight to go on holiday at least once a year. It was a nice way to catch up now that everyone was off doing their own things.

The problem was deciding where to go, and that was usually resolved with a game of rock-paper-scissors followed by throwing a dart on a world map while blindfolded. They didn’t really like letting Midorima in on it, for obvious reasons, so rock-paper-scissors was quickly changed to a game of Cheat. 

This year, Kuroko miraculously managed to get rid of all his cards first after being last the previous year with 20 or so, and so he got to throw the dart.

“You know, I really would have preferred Canada,” Kuroko mumbles as he looks at Kagami and Aomine bickering over where they actually are. Kagami insists the sign says Big Ben is a couple hundred metres west, while Aomine says it’s definitely in the complete opposite direction. 

“Kurokocchi! You don’t get to complain, you threw the dart!”

“As much as I’d like to disagree, Kise is right. You won, and got throwing rights, yet you still failed. You obviously didn’t do all in your power to succeed.”

“There are supposed to be really good sweets around here, so I’ll see you guys later...”

Momoi is standing by a sign that is supposed to show where they are, and is discussing it in hushed whispers with Akashi. As if they’d let two-thirds of the idiot trio (guess who’s the remaining third) decide where there were going.

Half an hour later (and down a Murasakibara), they’re about to get on the London Eye, having passed Big Ben on the way. (Turns out neither Kagami nor Aomine were right.) Kise is complaining, as always; it’s starting to rain and he’s wearing shorts and sunglasses. The others pay him no mind as their capsule starts moving. Momoi and Midorima have a contest pointing out all the landmarks they can spot, while Kise tries to persuade the others to take selfies with him.

“Aominecchi, come on... This is gonna look so good on all my social media! The fans will love it!” Kise says as he waves his phone about. Aomine attempts to run away, but the capsule isn’t that big. Kise gets a few blurry ones and settles for one of himself, with the landscape of London in the background. 

“I still really wish we’d gone to Canada, Akashi-kun.”

“I think this will serve as... a learning experience for all of us.”

hanamiya, aomine, akashi, murasakibara reactions to their girlfriend goes to their game in their school's cheerleading uniform but they have their jersey numbers on her uniform + when they realize members of the other team are ogling at her

Akashi: your routine was flawless as always, and Akashi wonders, not for the first time, how you manage some of the flips and tumbles that you do. It has him mesmerised until he overhears a few words that he would not like to repeat. 

“If you have time to such crass things about my girlfriend,” he starts with an air of intimidation, “maybe it could be better spent trying to be as good as her in anything you do.”

Aomine: he has to admit, you look incredibly cute while cheering for Touou; the maroon and black combo looks great on you. But if he’s thinking that, a bunch of other guys are definitely going to be thinking the same while you do your routine during the interval. As long as no one tries anything with you, it’s all good. They’re sure not to one they see that you have his jersey number on your back.

Hanamiya: you hadn’t said anything about coming to cheer him on with the rest of your squad, but here you were and he wasn’t complaining. However, he can hear a few comments as he stops to tie his laces, and he doesn’t like them one bit. So Hanamiya stops in front of them, where you happen to be, and whisper a few words in your ear. He makes sure they see the matching numbers on your backs.

Murasakibara: the whole game is a drag, but at least you’re here to support him. He already wants to crush the opponents for being so troublesome, but now it looks like he has to crush some of the spectators. There are a few who are blatantly staring at you in your cheerleading uniform, and he knows he’ll be putting all his annoyance into the next quarter.

Hanamiya’s been on edge, as of late. He hasn’t told you anything, but it isn’t hard to notice (to you, at least). What’s up with him, you aren’t entirely sure, and you know asking him will do no good. 

The final straw is when he comes home and slams the door, so hard that the glasses in the cabinet rattle. You narrow your eyes; today will be the day you find out what’s up with him. 

He falls into the seat next to you and rests his head on your shoulder.

“Bad day today?” you question cautiously while caressing his hair. 

“I don’t think bad begins to cover it,” he replies, although it’s merely a whisper.

 He looks somewhat dejected although he still isn’t saying much, just nuzzling his head further into you. You sit like that for a while, in complete silence. It’s relaxing, almost, the notion that you don’t even have to say anything for it to be comfortable. 

“It’s good other people don’t see me like this, huh,” Hanamiya mutters, and you want to hold onto him harder than you already are.

“You act so tough all the time, maybe it’s better that you are like this sometimes. No one’s going to kill you if you drop the act, y’know.”

Hanamiya only snorts and looks up at the ceiling. “It’s a bit late for me to go back and be all ‘hey, I’m not as cool and mean as you all think I am, in reality I think my life’s shit and complain about it all the time with (y/n)’. That seems a bit stupid, I won’t lie.”

Maybe it does, but your point still stands. You know the real Hanamiya, and he’s silly for not showing this side of him to everyone else.

Can I request a one-shot scenario with kagami as a bodyguard and s/o as a princess having to travel together across the country to meet s/o arrange fiancé. They fall in love along the way of their journey together

“We are a few kilometres away, my lady. I hope everything is to your liking?” Kagami questions, referencing his attempts to entertain you. 

You smile as a response, because Kagami has always been your favourite. Most of the bodyguards at the palace were distant and quiet, but Kagami never failed to amuse you, whether it was performing a magic trick or telling you stories about his home. He was the only one who treated you like an actual person, instead of the heir to the throne that everyone saw you as. 

So you chose him to accompany you to meet your new fiancé, which seems a bit weird. Like hey, you have a fiancé, but you haven’t even met him. But your marriage was only a formality, a symbol of the new alliance between the two nations. 

“Penny for your thoughts, my lady? You seem awfully bogged down by them,” Kagami enquires, obviously thinking something is wrong with your health. 

The horse-driven carriage runs over a few rocks and you clutch Kagami’s arm as you bump along with it. “Nothing in particular, but it seems so silly that I am expected to marry someone I know nothing about.”

Kagami thinks it’s stupid also, but he can’t say that. He thinks you are much too good for this prince he’s heard nothing but bad things about, but he can’t say that either. He also would not mind taking you and running far, far away from this life, but that’s something he’d have to leave in his dreams. 

He has no idea what to say and you’r still looking a bit annoyed, so he forgets any air of professionalism he once had and engulfs you in a hug. You deserve the world and so much more, but this is the most he can give you.

You’re a bit surprised by the sudden hug but not displeased, as you wrap your arms around him and hold him tight. Kagami is the one thing that doesn’t change, and you’re grateful for the one pillar amid the tornado that is your life.

Aomine: you trace circles over Aomine’s chest, still getting over your post-sex buzz. He’s silent for a while, eyes closed, so quiet you think he’s asleep. In reality, he’s contemplating a few things. Aomine is not known to think about things so this is surprising even for him. But he’s thinking about all the little things you do that he loves, like how you hum when you’re happy and pout when you’re upset. 

“(y/n), I love you.”

It’s a bit out of the blue, and he doesn’t really expect you to reply, but he’s overjoyed when you say it back.

Haizaki: normally, sex is purely a pleasure thing for Haizaki. He gets horny, you get horny, you do it and that’s it. For some reason, this time is different. The look on your face after coming down from your high makes him feel a bit weird, and he can’t place whether it’s a good weird or bad weird. It’s only when you’re snuggling into him, fast asleep, does he really think. He thinks about all the times you’ve stuck by him, even through his really bad times. He thinks about how much you care and how much more you deserve. It’s right about then that he realises: shit, I’m in love.

Hanamiya: this wasn’t really supposed to be anything more than a kinda-not-really-friends-with-many-benefits thing, but it had somehow escalated to something not too far from a relationship. Usually you’d ask him to stay the night, but this was the first time he’d asked. Hanamiya doesn’t know why, because you two aren’t like that. But, he wonders, does he want it to be like that? He wants to know the whole you, the you shown to no one else. He can’t exactly tell you any of this, though. You’re not one for relationships.

Imayoshi: you tended to fall asleep super quickly after sex, and today was no different. Imayoshi puts his arm round you and pulls you closer to him, as if you weren’t close enough already. He’s known for a while now, but times like these are the times he loves you most. He loves the way your chest rises and falls with each breath, and how you smile to yourself. Yes, he loves every single part of you, but admitting it would make him seem weak. 

It should be fine if he just whispers it to himself, though. As long as you don’t hear him. (But, you’re not really sleeping. You hear him, loud and clear.)

haiii, could you write a scenario, that aomine brings his crush back home after a party and shes drunk (and kagami is her sister) So he sees them and gets mad at aomine and is like WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY SISTER?! xD

You’re completely and utterly off your face, and you know it. Well, maybe not, as you’re trying to convince Aomine you’re sober enough to stay at the party while simultaneously hugging a lampshade. Aomine looks at you, bemused. This isn’t a side to you he’d ever seen before and although it is hilarious, he should probably take you home. You had both agreed beforehand that whoever was the drunkest by 1am would take the other home, and that happened to be you.

It was a pain, as you demanded he carried you and would not stop babbling about cats the entire way there. By the time you’ve reached home (which seemed like an eternity but was only fifteen minutes), Aomine is tempted to just drop you there and then. (But he doesn’t, because he kinda likes you, and it would be mean even so.)

So he carries you all the way to the front door, and you pass him your keys so he can open it. He’s a bit tipsy himself, so doesn’t notice how familiar the flat is. He dumps you on the sofa and you squeal, but he pays you no mind and sits down next to you. You’re a naturally clingy person and love attention, so it isn’t long before you’re sitting on Aomine’s lap, laughing at the red that stains his cheeks. Of course he’s embarrassed; you’re so close, and he’s had a crush on you for what seems like ages-

“Ahomine! What the fuck are you doing in my house? And with my sister?” 

Kagami points at Aomine, as if that somehow makes his statement more powerful. You just giggle as you look at Aomine’s shocked expression.

“Your sister?! How the hell was I supposed to know that, you idiot?”

Aomine would not mind if the ground swallowed him up right now. You being related to that sack of idiocy wasn’t even the worst of it. It was more the fact the sack of idiocy had found you two in such a position that he was now assuming the worst; like hell he’d do anything with you while you couldn’t even tell the difference between left and right. 

In fact, he actually wants the ground to swallow him up, is Aomine’s only thought as you laugh some more and poke his cheeks.

Gom + Kagami + Izuki's reaction to their s.o. Having sewed a couples cosplay after they had said they didn't want to couple cosplay. (The s.o. had sewed it before they had told them no)

we kinda veered off cosplay but pls appreciate the effort

Akashi: although the idea was particularly excellent (he was most certainly a king, and you were even more than a queen), Akashi really did not like the thought of being mocked by the rest of the Miracles; they would probably pull out the “I am absolute” line as an attempt to mock him. But when he sees the amount of effort you’d put into both of them, he can’t refuse.

Aomine: when you told him you’d made costumes for the both of you, he was initially surprised. Mainly because they had to have taken a very long time, judging from the expression on your face. And when he saw them, he knew it was true. And he does like playing a few Zelda games every so often, so he was up for it, too. It’s only on the actual day does he hesitate, because he had not signed up to wear the Zelda costume, while you’re grinning at him in the Link one.

Izuki: he’d had his fair dose of Mario when he was a kid, like many others. And after agreeing to go a convention with you, you had to decide what you were going to wear. You bring up the idea of going as Mario and Peach which he’s originally against - he’d look pretty lame as Mario, come on. And then you reveal you’ve already made it, so he can’t really say no, can he?

Kagami: he has no complaints. He’s always wanted to be Iron Man. 

Kise: he also has no complaints, as he loves Frozen, and he wants to see how many people think he’s a girl (you’ve got him going as Elsa, complete with full length wig)

Kuroko: just because he’d mentioned liking Phantom of the Opera one time didn’t mean he wanted to actually be the phantom guy who was in it. (Erik I believe?) People did call him Phantom because of his weak presence but even so... He tries to politely refuse until you say that you’ve already made them, and when he puts it on, he has to admit he looks rather dashing. 

Midorima: he’s not too sure if he’s seeing things or that actually is a carrot costume, but Midorima’s slowly backing away before you can notice. You’re already dressed in the matching shovel costume (and you’re actually pretty adorable for a shovel) and pout when you see him trying to escape. He can’t refuse such a pout, even if it meant that he would lose any sort of credibility he’d managed to gain over the years. 

Murasakibara: honestly he’s not sure how you managed it (or even why you spent so much money on the material, because that was sure to cost a hell of a lot), but as soon as you say you want to go as cola and popcorn, he’s refuses. Yeah sure, he likes snacks, but he doesn’t want to dress up as one. Unfortunately, you’re just as stubborn as he is and say you’ll eat all the sweets in the house if he doesn’t dress up with you, so he does.

Gom + Kagami's reaction to their s.o. Kissing all over their faces at the end of a big game

Akashi: when his eyes meet yours, he calmly walks towards you, while you’re running with a huge grin on your face. You are within touching distance of him when he gently grabs hold of your shoulders and touches your forehead to his, a small smile forming. You give him one chaste kiss; you are still in public after all.

Aomine: it’s a bit overwhelming, having you kissing him so soon after coming off the court. It had been a game he’d enjoyed, and you can tell it from the smile on his face. He’s still out of breath, but manages to give you a few kisses back.

Kagami: he’d still be revelling in the post-win glory, but when he sees you coming over, he turns to hug you, albeit a little surprised. It’s only when you start peppering kisses all over his face that he starts spluttering, because there are loads of people and it’s a little embarrassing…

Kise: he’ll be the one seeking you out, from before the game had even started to now. You find him first and his smile will cause you to smile yourself. You’ll congratulate him time and time again and instead he’s kissing all over your face while you laugh.

Kuroko: he’s not on the court when Seirin win, so it takes you a little longer to find him. When you do, it’s outside the locker room, and he engulfs you in a hug before you can say anything. You give him a small kiss on his nose, and even that’s enough to make him blush momentarily.

Midorima: he didn’t even know you’d come to watch, so when you run over to him and start giving him hurried pecks all over his face, he’s a bit shocked. And maybe his face goes a bit red, because everyone’s looking at you both. He does appreciate the fact that you’d come to support him, and doesn’t entirely mind the kisses, really.

Murasakibara: of course he’d be eating snacks to make up for the fact he’d had to put so much effort in. You appear from seemingly nowhere and jump into his arms, knocking the sweets to the floor. He grumbles a little bit, but the kisses make up for it completely.

One of your favourite things to do was wear Hanamiya’s clothes, for two reasons. 

They were a lot more comfortable than your own;

It irritated him, because he liked it so much; you knew it, although he never showed it. Possibly because he knew you knew, and didn’t want to give you the satisfaction of knowing.

So when he tells you he’ll be out for a few hours, you decide to do a bit of planning for his return.

Half an hour later, you’re wearing his jersey underneath his sports jacket (the very same one you’d called ‘ugly like the colour of sick’ a thousand times), and settle down. You have a few hours of looking irresistibly cute alone before Hanamiya comes back, so you may as well relax until then.

(You’re not wearing anything else apart from those two items, but that’s irrelevant.)

Finally, you hear the door slam and Hanamiya walks in, muttering about how he’d hurt every person who had remotely pissed him off that day. You greet him with a drawl, not taking your eyes off the show you’re watching, and he joins you on the sofa, barely mumbling a reply. 

Your eyes narrow. You hadn’t dug through a pile of clothes more than half your height for such a weak reaction. But then again, Hanamiya is hard to please, and you never back down from a challenge. You drop the remote on the carpet, and when you bend over, the hem of both the jersey and the jacket raise ever so slightly, more and more, so much so that you’re sure he’s looking your way right now.

Now you’re having fun, and you want to tease him a bit more.

Akashi: it would be very, very rare to see this side of him, if at all. He would be very quiet throughout it all, but you would be able to see signs that he wasn’t okay, such as his hands shaking. It would take a lot for him to open up to you, and even then he may not even reveal the full story, to keep you from worrying too much.

Aomine: as much as he’d like to believe it, Aomine isn’t as rough as he makes out to be. It isn’t uncommon for him to want to talk to you when he’s feeling down, as you always know exactly what to say. At times like these, he’s especially clingy; he’ll cuddle you for hours on end. 

Kasamatsu: when the stress and pressures of being captain really weigh on him, he’d firstly try to deal with it alone, mainly because he wasn’t sure how much talking would help him. If it all got too much, he’d attempt to ask you for advice, before revealing everything that was haunting him, voice wavering ever so slightly.

Kise: even though he can be very emotional, Kise wouldn’t readily share his darkest fears with you. It would be most likely be that you would find him crying alone, thinking that you would only be back once he’d had a chance to compose himself. It would eventually all pour out as he cries into your arms and you reassure him that everything will be okay. 

Kuroko: if he does show this side of himself to you, it’ll be nothing like the passive, quiet Kuroko you’ve seen before. He’ll be questioning a lot of things, especially his self-worth (in regards to the whole Teikou fiasco) so it’d require a lot of careful words to help him feel important once more.

Midorima: he’s especially reserved with his emotions, so if he’s like this towards you, you’re special. It would be after a bad day for Cancers, in which he contemplates whether he’s doing enough, whether he’s good enough, why he isn’t good enough. He isn’t directly saying any of this to you, but he’s aware you’re listening to him expose a part of himself he hardly even shows himself.

Murasakibara: if you manage to get anything out of him, it’ll be when he’s eating loads more than usual; it’s a sign something’s wrong. He’s incredibly stubborn and won’t want to say anything, but you’ll eventually get him to crack. Expect lots of mumbled confessions and requests for cuddles.

Today’s another day of rain, but Takao doesn’t really care about that. Perhaps it’s fitting that it’s raining, because the bleak morning is an exact embodiment of his mood. He wants nothing more but to hide underneath the covers and not face the day, but his mum’ll have a fit if he tries that stunt again.

So, begrudgingly, he gets up. 

It’s been, what, a month since you broke up with him? Any attempt at contact was rejected, which was pretty ironic considering a lack of communication had been the reason you’d left. And yeah, maybe he had been a bit preoccupied with basketball and hadn’t paid enough attention to you as he would’ve liked, but surely it was something you could talk about? 

Takao’s heart aches simply thinking about you. They say time heals pain, but that can’t be true. The more time goes by, the more things Takao remembers about you that he wouldn’t have remembered otherwise. Like the way you could make any laugh just by whispering a few words, or how ticklish you were around the waist. 

He goes about his daily routine in a haze. It all seems a bit silly, because he can’t bring himself to care about any of it, so what’s the point? Sometime later, while Takao’s making his way through a stack of homework he’d put aside, Midorima comes over.

And Midorima isn’t really someone he wants to see, because it’ll go one of two ways:

He’ll start spouting bullshit about how Fate Has Deemed It To Be So, while advising Takao to spend a fortune on lucky items to make sure he doesn’t die or something

He’ll try the Sensitive Midorima™, created post-losing-to-Seirin and fully established post-Winter Cup, where he sympathises with Takao and attempts to offer support, while advising him to spend a fortune on lucky items to make sure he doesn’t die or something

Both of these options involve a lengthy lecture, so he’d rather spare the memories of you it’ll induce, thanks. So he grabs a pair of trainers from his wardrobe and hightails it out of there, down the stairs and straight through the front door. (His mother will shout, but he’ll deal with that when it comes.)

He just runs. Faster than he does during practice, faster than he’s gone before. It’s strangely liberating, just going without a destination in mind. But it’s inevitable that he’d remember the times you would run with him, since you were in the athletics club. 

He smirks slightly at the memory, but really, there are tears falling down his face. Takao Kazunari is a hopeless fool, a fool pining for someone who doesn’t want him, a fool terribly and deeply in love.
