two weeks till the new car
I have always had this passion for cars. I love everything about cars. I read and watch endless articles and videos about cars and what is going on in the automotive industry. My father follows a similar passion for cars as it is always a hot topic in our conversations, the only difference between us is that my father actually has the money to fulfill his passion being able to buy and invest in cars. I have been fortunate enough to have a couple cars already in my young life, but that doesn’t stop me from constantly looking at the car market and seeing what's a good price and what's unrealistic. I have always been eyeing Porsches, yes everyone says why not go electric and get a Tesla it's just as fast, but that's not the point they lack in every sector when compared to Porsche especially when a Tesla can cost relatively the same I am just unwilling to compromise. I have always told myself one day before 30 I will own a Porsche and that day is becoming more realistic everyday till one day, where I have been working endless days and putting work first just to achieve a dream of mine. My family finally convinced me to do it as you only live once and you can always make more money. That's when after weeks of searching I have finally found my dream car, a 2018 Porsche Macan gts, white on the outside with black and red interior, it's fast, mean, and sounds phenomenal, when I finally got this car it felt like a dream it did not feel like reality, especially after all my hard work it felt great to finally be able to reward myself and be able to drive in style and in something that I truly loved, there has been nothing better when you are driving on the sea to sky highway on a sunny day really enjoying the drive, it makes you want to drive and not stop driving either I just don’t want to get out of this car ever but I know one day my passion will expand and I will grow my passion for cars and eventually be able to have more than one

Two weeks work notice
Here I was my whole life working construction and labour because I was so money driven, I always went for the job which would pay me the most and most of the times it was the hard labour and work that you don’t like doing, but my problem was that I was so money driven until one day I realized that I don’t want to be 40 years old having to wake up every day at 5 am to get to my labour job. I want to be able to wake up at a reasonable time and do what I love and obtain more financial freedom. I want to not have to worry about my spending and be able to live my life as well as take care of my body and not need to work grueling hours to make a set salary. That's when one day I said screw this I'm going to follow my dreams and do real estate. Growing up my family was always in real estate, my father used to buy and build new construction homes then live in them and then sell them, so I was used to the whole process and was always up to date on the current market, especially being in Vancouver where the housing market is so hot and the prices of homes always hit new highs, I knew I wanted to be in this tough competitive market and make my presence known, this is when I went back to school and enrolled in some real estate classes which eventually lead to my realtor certificate. One interesting aspect about real estate is that everyone thinks that you just sell the house and then you get rich off of your commission which is not true especially when you’re first starting, you are a nobody and get the hard listings the older homes that are much tougher to sell than the beautiful West Vancouver mansions and on top of that the fees that you come across will squeeze your commission. That was also part of my drive, I wanted to be selling those three, four, eight million-dollar listings and become a popular name in the industry I wanted to leave my mark and that is where I am today, sitting in my office with my whole team alongside me working day in and day out reaching new goals each month and becoming a very popular company in the industry, that is what I strived to do and have done, and it's only up from here.

Two Week Rugby Championship
It was the middle of November and the national championship was coming up. Between rugby practice, school and social life the largest focus was on rugby for the next two weeks, it was nothing but preparation and focus strictly on the upcoming challenge. We called this a business trip because that's what it was, the whole team had one common goal in mind which was to strictly win and be the best team in the nation. There was also a lot of outside pressure as we were already ranked number 1 so during this time the expectation was for us to win and every other team and fan was against us, this was why this was a business trip we couldn’t let any of these outside sources affect us, we had to go there and win just to prove to everyone that nothing can stop us. The team left Monday morning heading to the frozen province of Ontario where we would play 3 freezing cold games with snowy conditions. After the team settled in for a couple days our first challenge was upon us, the number one seed versus the number 8 seed, and yes it's how you expected it to go, we blew them up, nonetheless there was still much respect between the two teams, as you just have to when you beat each other up for 80 minutes. After that win we knew our largest challenge was before us as we played the home team with a crowd filled with fans on a Friday night game under the lights, this was the perfect time for the upset to happen the scene was set and kickoff went under way, the game started very tough but we started to prevail and the points started to add up, we finally silenced the crowd with an intercept score and a taunting celebration. As the final whistle blew there was a sigh of relief but once again it was business and we knew we would win. We were so close, walking into the final game with a familiar opponent we knew we could do this and win one last game. The morning of the final game we woke up, peeked out the window and saw the slow falling snow flakes. As the day went on the snow started to pile up and sooner than later we had a championship final game in the snow. As we battled for the next 80 minutes we were able to do what had to be done and win with domination. Raising that trophy in that atmosphere was special, with all the outside pressure and expectations and everyone hating us we were able to do it, but again was there ever doubt? As this was one of the most close knit groups of guys with one goal in mind to win on this business trip.
