I think that the hardest part for me was to accept that I felt trapped. I felt that I had no chance of making it on my own. I convinced myself that I was better of with him than on my own. I was afraid. I was afraid of making that first step.

How many times in the relationship do you think, today I am going to tell that person to leave and the moment that happens, you panic! You can't go through with it. You find yourself beating around the bush asking yourself why you've stopped yourself. The reality of the situation is that being doubtful and afraid will intervene with the obvious decision.
