My Beta Skid wore a diff mask but that's beta spoilers so like. yeah i censored their mask here LMFAO

My Live Skid is basically a krill kid, they wear the krill cape (though way fluffier) and have krill horns, unlike their younger, Beta counterpart - they have lil baby non krill horns and the fluffy aurora cape :3

My personal headcanons on some of the performance spirits cause why not

The mellow musician and tumbling troublemaker are siblings it’s canon I said so I talked to tgc myself!!!,,!!!!1!1!1!

Mellow was the one who taught the troublemaker how to tumble down snowy hills in the winter; so the troublemaker likes to roll down the dunes in the isle because it reminds him of that.

The troublemaker was part of the theatre crew and would help out with performances.

The storyteller lets the other crew members give her ideas for her stories (but mostly only listens to the dancer’s suggestions)

The troublemaker took after his older sibling and that’s why he wears a headband

Also the siblings would mess around and prank the crew a lot

Anyway, what if... Hear me out... What if the masks of the Performance crew indicate how long they've been a part of the crew? Like the Director/Guide has an adult penguin mask (i don't remember which penguin species it was based off of but the beak is long and fully grown), stagehand, dancer and storyteller have fledgeling penguin masks (way smaller beaks than the guide) and mellow has a nestling/hatchling penguin mask?

That would mean Mellow has been a part of the crew the shortest... Cool! I'll think about making this my new hc abt him...

I was asked by a friend yesterday if I could offer basic tips about comic paneling. As it turns out, I have a lot to say on the matter! I tried breaking down the art of paneling using the principles of art and design, and I hope it helps you out!

EDIT: uh uh there are a lot of people reblogging this, so i figure i may as well append this now while i can lol

This whole thing was very much cranked out in a few hours so I had a visual to talk about with a friend! If this gives you a base understanding of paneling, that's awesome! Continue to pull in studies from the comics you see and what other artists do well and don't do well! You can tell paneling is doing well when the action is flowing around in its intended reading format.

Here's the link to the globalcomix article from which I pulled the images about panel staggering! Someone sent in a reblog that it wasn't totally clear that the 7th slide mostly covers what NOT to do in regards to staggering, and that is my mistake!

I saw in a tag that someone was surprised I used MamaYuyu too, and I don't blame them lol. If I had given myself more than a couple hours maybe I would have added something else on, I just really admire MamaYuyu's paneling personally.

uh uh, final append: I am by no means a renowned master of paneling, so if you find anything off base here, by all means, counter it with your own knowledge and ways you can build upon from here! Art is always a sum knowledge of everything we find. 💪

The new feature, "Colored Light" introduced in the Season of Radiance, allows players to collect eight different base colors that will become available to gather from burning special Dark Plants in the realms. Use these base colors as their own dye, or mix them to create a total 72 colors!

The dye feature can be used with existing items too: Many of your capes, pants, tunics, and more have dyeable areas for you to customize! Preview possible color combinations as you select your favorites. Once you've decided and dyed your design, you can save up to two dyed versions of an item with the "Outfit Styles" option.

Additionally, dyes can not only be obtained by burning dye plants in realms but also from Season of Radiance spirits and future event guides
