I’m just imagining a scene where an inquisitor has to do a report about Anakin and Vader has to try not to laugh because one; it would probably kill him and two; he can’t let up the charade. But it’s so hard because these guys are so wrong about anything and everything.

Yes it's okay for characters to stay single. It's also okay to suddenly reveal the entire pirate crew is made up of men with noble blood so they'll be suitable matches for the Major Generals daughters. We need a variety of stories in the world.

I respect those book covers that depict Jeeves as a balding 40-50 something man but I know in my heart it's not true. Bertie would have 100% been all over that if Jeeves was balding. We would have had descriptions galore. Bro would write 'Jeeves brain, being as magnificent as it was, his own hair had vacated the top of his head and slunk down to his greying temples in shame' or some shit.
