Amaya hummed softly as she sat her desk, one leg crossed over the other as she went back from one computer to the other, typing away. Emails, chatrooms, searching for information, whatever needed to be done. In between all of that was the paperwork as well. 

She was so caught up in everything, she didn’t notice that Izaya had gotten up from his desk and made his way over and stood behind her. Sighing softly, Amaya closed her eyes for a moment and quickly opened them when she felt something give a slight tug on her hair. 

She sat still when she felt the slender hands run their way down her long curls. She glanced over to where his desk was and noticed it was empty– and Namie wasn’t here. A slow blush creeped up on her cheeks as she pressed her lips together. 

She soon noticed that her hair was being played with, feeling that he was braiding her hair. She let out a soft laugh. The little things made her heart flutter, and this was one of them.

It had been a long day for her. She was in Paris for the time being, doing some research for Izaya while he stayed in Ikebukuro. Amaya had been there a a few times before so it was familiar by now.

She had spent most of the day looking into some information about the so called miraculous that Izaya had told her about. He wanted more information about them and how they worked.After the long day of research, Amaya needed to do a few errands for herself. Hence why she was out so late.

It wasn’t before long when she heard a familiar voice, smirking slightly as she turned around and rose a brow. 

“Oooh?” she cooed. 

“Look who it is, Chat Noir himself!” she exclaimed, clapping her hands together happily, grinning from ear to ear. 

“It’s be such a long time since I’ve seen you! I see you still have the same sense of humor.”
