In solitude, the relentless swell of loneliness, An all-encompassing void that engulfs, Compels withdrawal from life's relentless demands, To hide in the recesses of my own desolation. A shadowed scream echoes within, the weight of self-doubt, the grinding sense of worthlessness, The ceaseless urge to surrender, to relinquish, To let the world and its expectations fade. Yet, deep within this desolation, still I search, For remnants of a self scarcely worth preserving, A hollow vessel, drained of self-esteem, A rationale for succumbing to the end. Loneliness, an unyielding abyss, continues to surge, And within, I seek no flicker, no ember, Only the bleak darkness that mirrors my despair, A relentless descent, a void that swallows me whole.
