Lemmy, despite acting like an airheaded goofball most of the time, is actually surprisingly intelligent! He just finds it easier when people are underestimating him so he plays dumb most of the time

I believe this tbh! Lemmy has always seemed pretty smart to me despite being a silly lil dude.

I like to think that Lemmy is actually a good babysitter and loves cheering kids up. If they become upset or something, he will try to make them feel better by blowing up a balloon and twisting them into small animals, and they become happy. (Lemmy just seems cheerful most of the time too) + I came up with this since Lemmy stands up on a ball all the time, why can't he blow balloons too?

He always babysat Bowser Jr when Jr was younger. They liked drawing together :)

I headcannon Morton will get stuck in mud when he plays in the rain and just lays there until someone finds him, like roy or ludwig.

broke: iggy and lemmy are twins because hip and hop were twins in the dic cartoon

woke: iggy and larry are twins because they look kinda similar in sprite art now and lemmy is way shorter now

bespoke: iggy, larry, and lemmy are triplets, the different amount of teeth between them is due to getting in a lot of fights and lemmy is so much smaller than the rest because something stunted his growth

- Wendy typically wants specific bags / clutches for Christmas, but the boys (except Ludwig) don't know the difference between any of them, so they just get whatever seems the shiniest.

- Roy acts like he's a "no girly things" tough guy, but all of the koopalings get him books and comfy sweaters because he actually loves to be comfy and cozy.

- Larry usually gives his siblings what he would like, so they usually get sports equipment every year. (They always get him a new video game every year.)

- Morton always gets toy food / toy kitchen stuff because he loves cooking but isn't great at it.

- Iggy has a huge collection of mini chemistry sets (and other science sets, like volcanos and such) from the years, which makes up his lab.

- Lemmy's favourite gift he's ever got was a giant jester teddybear, which he got when he was a baby.

- All of the Koopalings know about Ludwig's love of classical composers, so they get him fancy Victorian-age outfits so he can feel like Beethtoven at all times.

Not a holiday headcanon, but... what if the Koopalings are the nephews and niece of Bowser's wife/Junior's mom? They started living at the castle at some point and Bowser ended up liking them enough to keep them around even after his wife's passing.

Larry is the most sensitive to cold, and as a result a lot of the gifts he receives (aside from video games, sports equipment, and music stuff) from his family are warm winter clothes and blankets. he also likes to sleep in a blanket nest when it gets really cold, and sometimes his siblings will join him and make a sleeping pile.

As someone with Raynaud's disease, I feel this on a personal level.

What the Koopalings get each other [headcanon]:

Larry: Tries to get something off their Christmas list, but ends up buying something totally different, but the Koopalings still love it bc he’s the youngest and they know he tried.

Roy: Tries effortlessly to find something in his room, and ends up getting them something cheap and plastic, or a small candy bar.

Lemmy: I honestly think he likes to create his gifts, or buying something and decorating it will stickers and paint. I also like to think he likes to blow up balloons and create them into small animals to decorate around the castle.

Wendy: Makes jewelry out of their favorite color.

Iggy: Anything that pranks them. (He once gave Wendy a flower, and when she smelled it, it squirted icy cold water at her)

Morton: Buys the most expensive thing off everyone’s Christmas list :)

Ludwig: Bakes them each their favorite treats, and they are happy bc they know if Ludwig cooks it’s gonna be good.

Bonus hc: When it was Christmas, and Jr was 3, Iggy worked hard making him something that he still loves till this day: his mechakoopa. Iggy made it for him 💚. The sad part about this is that Jr doesn’t know Iggy made it for him and he thought it was his dad…

Some wholesome Holiday HCs:

Iggy seems like the type to give people glitter bomb cards full of the really fine glitter that never goes away. He sends them out to everybody he knows, including Mario and Luigi.

Lemmy has a collection of the gaudiest, tackiest, most absurd ugly sweaters you can imagine. I’m talking lights, tinsel, googly eyes, everything. Also, 100% the best gift giver in the family.

Larry, Lemmy, and (secretly) Ludwig REALLY like the classic stop motion Christmas movies and have them on constantly for the entire month of December. It drives everyone else nuts.

Wendy always gifts people clothes, but like, really nice clothes, with everyone’s personal style in mind. She also really enjoys decorating. Definitely gets spoiled rotten with jewelry and bows every year.

Morton just enjoys spending time with everybody. Definitely a handmade gifts kind of guy. Also the feast is 100% his favorite part of the day.

Larry is constantly initiating snowball fights with EVERYBODY. Would drink hot chocolate by the gallon if given the opportunity. Winter is his favorite season. Always gets a new tennis racket every year.

Roy is the type of dude to just shrug whenever someone asks what he wants that year, so people just get him video games or cool weapons. His giant bill blaster was a present from Bowser one year.

Junior always gets the most gifts from Bowser. He’s the first one up in the morning, loudly pestering everyone else to come open gifts. Bowser ropes all the older kids into helping him play Santa the night before. He gets loads of toys and art supplies. Makes everybody (badly) hand drawn cards. Nobody has ever thrown them away, bowser has a drawer full of them.

Ludwig gives really thoughtful and expensive gifts, but only one per person. Typically gets instruments and clothes. Being the oldest, I’d imagine he does his best to mitigate the holiday chaos (and fails). Secretly swaps some of the stocking candy for fruit.

Bowser has an every growing collection of “worlds best dad” mugs and corny joke T-shirts. He doesn’t mind too much. Mario, Luigi, and Peach send him very formal cards every year out of sympathy.

Kamek can’t stand the chaos, and locks himself in his room to watch old movies until dinner time. Gives cards and small toys to all the kids, and usually receives new robes and spell books.

Also I think Peach would throw a big Holliday party every year, and it’s a Koopa family tradition to try crashing it. Their methods get more and more elaborate each time.
