"Let's duel!" Both girls yelled, and each drew four cards from their decks.

"I'll go first," Seijuuro said, and looked at her cards. A pretty good draw. She picked Sleeper from the mix, and began her move. "I summon this card face down, set two cards, and then end my turn."

"Seems you're pulling the big guns out already." Cherry said (though it sounded rather sarcastic), drawing a card and looking at it with a smirk. "I mirror your move and summon a monster face-down, then set two cards."

"Think for yourself, would you?" Seijuuro said with a roll of her eyes as she drew her next card. She then points at the face-down holographic card on the field. "I flip-summon Fairy Tail - Sleeper in attack position, and then I special summon Dancing Fairy in face-up defense position." She then places her drawn card onto her duel disk, "and because I haven't summoned a monster officially yet, I put down Honest in attack position!"

Cherry watches with a mild smile.

"Then, I use Sleeper to attack your face-down monster and Honest attacks your life point directly!" Seijuuro seems accomplished as Cherry shields her face from the shattering of her Pumprincess hologram. "And I'm not finished--" Cherry growls "--Because Dancing Fairy is in face-up defense position, I can 1,000 life points for each of my standby phases, putting my life points at 9,000 while you're takes a plunge into 6,900."

"Yeah, I got that. My move," Cherry said as she drew a card. She lifts her hand up, revealing her face-down trap. "I activate Call of the Haunted, and I use it to special summon Pumprincess the Princess of Ghosts! Then I chain my trap with the spell card Inferno Reckless Summon. This allows both me and you to special summon as many monsters with the same name as our chosen one to the field as possible and I choose my two other Pumprincesses!"

"Well I summon two other Dancing Fairies!" Seijuuro looks as though she had just won the lottery with this spell card, and Cherry doesn't look very pleased about it.

"I set this spell card, and then I tribute the Pumprincess with Call of the Haunted attached for Pumpking, King of Ghosts and activate Pumprincess's effect!"

"Effect?"

"When Pumprincess is destroy, she turns into a spell card, and a dangerous one at that!" Cherry explains with a laugh. "So now, Pumpking, ATTACK!"

"I activate Mirror Wall! This trap halves the attack of all monsters who have declared one!"

"I chain with Swords of Revealing Light!" Cherry counters. She looks furious. "I place a counter on my Pumprincess spell card and end my turn."

"My turn," Seijuuro yanks a card from the top of her deck and looks at it. "Because it's my standby turn, I have to pay 2,000 life points to keep Mirror Wall on the field, but my Dancing Fairies returns all of that plus 1,000 more."

"Pumprincess is at her third counter." Cherry quips, not enjoying the circumstances.

"There's nothing I can do, so I end my turn."

Cherry draws a card, and smirks. "You're in for a treat, fairy princess. I tribute both of my remaining pumprincesses to summon Belial the Marquis of Darkness!"

"URK!"

"I'll place pumpkin counters (that's 7 now) on my pumprincesses and end my turn. Let's see if you can keep up."

Seijuuro draws. She stares at the card, thinking about how it would help if Cherry manages to destroy one of her Dancing Fairies. She puts it in her hand and allows Mirror Wall and Dancing Fairies do the life point calculations for her. She exhales, "I end my turn."

She watches Cherry draw from her deck. "I set this card, and end my turn."

"I suppose we're both stalling," Seijuuro says, drawing Fairy Archer. She smiles, "Though it isn't on purpose in my case, I summon this card in attack position and end my turn. And, if I'm not mistaken, that means your spell card leaves the field!"

"I'm well aware." Cherry growled. Seijuuro didn't like how unconcerned she looked. "I draw!" Cherry stared at her card, and then went on to make her move. "I activate Pot of Greed. I set the two cards I drew and I tribute Pumpking for Legendary Fiend. After Pumprincesses' counters go up to 31 I end my turn."

This doesn't look very good. That's 3,100 points off of all Seijuuro's monsters' defense and attack. That basically brought all of them down to 0, but as long as she has Mirror Wall on the field she's safe. "I draw, then I activate Fairy Archer's effect--it allows me to give you 400 points of damage directly to your life points for every light monster I have on the field and I have two!"

"Go ahead! It won't matter when my strategy is complete!" Cherry snapped.

The score was now 17,000 life points for Seijuuro and 5,900 life points for Cherry. Seijuuro figured that she was going to win this duel, most likely through her stalling until Cherry ran out of cards to draw. "I end my turn."

Cherry drew her next card and stared at it. A smirk twisted upon her lips, and she began laughing. Seijuuro took a step back, unnerved. "The duel ends here, Sugarplum!" Cherry inhaled deeply. "I activate Needle Ceiling, destroying all of the monsters on the field!"

"NO!"

"Then I activate Call of the Haunted to bring Belial back. But that's not all, since I haven't completed an official summon I can special summon Trap Eater by destroying your Mirror Wall trap card!" Cherry began laughing maniacally at Seijuuro's horrified expression. "And now, my two monsters--ATTACK!"

Seijuuro yelled as the two monsters struck her, and she fell to her knees, staring at the ground. There was not a single card in her deck that could turn this around quick enough. She gulped, and closed her eyes. Placing her hand over her deck, she forfeited the duel-losing her the possibility of going to the finals.
