Thinking of starting a therian based podcast talking and educating people of therian life, along with this history and cultural background to where therians came from is this something people would be interested in? I'd have local and distance therians, nonhumans etc to talk about life experiences and how they go about life in a human society I'm thinking of calling it the hidden claws and paws

i think i realize why my werewolf identity sucks so much more than my trans identity, or my black cat identity, or any other identities I have.

the entire point of a werewolf is to transform. anytime there's a werewolf in movies, it's going to transform.

yet I can't. at all. and it hurts SO bad.

they say transformation is painful, but it always hurts more to keep it in, and I resonate with that very deeply. knowing that I can't biologically shift just puts the silver bullet in my chest.

with being trans, there's something you can DO about your dysphoria. things you can do to ease the pain. things you can do to make yourself look like how you want to be perceived.

with being a werewolf who can't transform, there isn't anything you can do at all. I can put on some fake ears, I can put on some makeup, I can pop in some fangs in my mouth, but I can't sooth the pain of true transformation.

I want to feel and see my claws grow, my hair thicken, my eyes change shape, my bones crack to fix their placement, my muzzle form, my ears move into place... I want it all, yet I can't have any of it.

I feel so trapped. like I've just been put into a cage and ate the damn key. it is genuinley just so hard to fathom the fact I can't just.. be myself. ever.

I love being a werewolf,

but sometimes I hate it.
