Forgiven Friend
Yes, I’ve made a million mistakes and there is one more you can add.
I sometimes fail to realize what my words impact.
I am writing an apology letter and I think I am beginning to rhyme.
I might also add some tune to it, I might also add some time.
I know you don’t want to read a word of this.
But I wrote this for a friend, I miss.
I don’t mean to be distant, I just happen to lose time.
I don’t mean to be dramatic, but yes I am. It’s not a crime!
And lastly,
I don’t mean to be anything, but just a Forgiven Friend, who rhymes!

First Kisses
The night was lit with stars and the almost full moon was glooming.
Something about that night, still leaves me assuming.
They sat silently as the wind touched their hearts.
Holding hands, they knew, they were forever to last.
It was just a passing second, it happened like it should.
They knew that things won’t be the same now.
That’s why First Kisses are so good!
