her brows furrow slightly , nearly bewildered by the kind words. not that they shouldn’t be surprising , but all of the doubt would be understandable. between them, the doubt doesn’t come by surprise. the longer she spent with him though – she is beginning to see that it really is bucky. and not HYDRA trying to take away what she had left. memories. those were her treasure , even if she always had trouble conveying that to others.  “ that ‘s not ya infamous sarcasm , is it james ? “ the name rolled off her tongue as a playful jab , despite the exhaustion she felt. of course happiness existed – but everything is an adjustment for her too.

vthe curve of her lip lifted at the self criticism the other placed upon herself. “look you’re doing great , not too shabby for someone who has no previous dance experience, “ playfulness laced  each syllable as she extended her hand out to judith to help her back on her feet. “ wanna try again ? “ she couldn’t lie to herself that she did this for partially selfish reasons , the jive brought her back to an easier time. though there is nothing easier about the era she lived in – but anytime she spent with her brother brought her some semblance of peace. and something about judith brought about a less complicated feeling -- and it was refreshing in this crazy world.

Welcome to New York, what is your character’s name?

 rebecca ‘becky’ barnes , hates to be called by her first name so she goes by becky.

Where have they been pulled from in their fandom?

 becky is pulled from her 1946 self , a year and a half after the supposed death of her brother, james buchanan. before bucky had been enlisted, their father sent becky off to boarding school just a few days before christmas, much to her chagrin. she has always been closer to james.  

despite that era , and the gender roles that followed , becky taught herself to be skilled with knives. a way to protect herself , in case something were to happen and she needed that form of self-defense. but when the death hit their family , she ran away from boarding school to be home with her family. but the attempt was in vain, she was sent back.

With the curse, how has your character’s life changed?

her life took a 180 turn , she had just recently experienced the great depression, the impact that world war two had on america and her family. she’s always dreamed to see new york city, she’s always been a brooklyn girl through and through.

she’s adjusting to the new age , and she feels right at home -- minus the lack of knowledge of how to use most technology.

Do they have a job, and if so what is it?

after an incident, becky decided to take a break from new york university and is now working as a barista for a local diner.

 Is there any other information about your character that members might find helpful?

becky owns an akita that she picked up from the streets as a puppy, naming him hunter. and she has an orange tabby that she named james the second, after her older brother.

she had a crhsh on steve as a child but that faded as quickly as one would expect, her interests were forever changing.

she prefers animals over people, music comes second -- and yet she seems to have a charisma that she doesn’t know how to explain.
